The Homies: “Way To Early AFC North Previews & Predictions”

Again, we’ll start off this week with the disclaimer that there is no disputing that the AFC North is the toughest division in the NFL. Since OTA’s have started and we have some semblance of football, the “Homies” will share a way to early 2024 preview of the AFC North. Talking players, changes and May predictions for each team. All this plus the typical foolery and shenanigans you only get on the “Homies” podcast on SCN FFSN.

messages the qualifications or the award of the white boy of the year and we try we trying to figure out how to vote because I listen you got my vote I just want to figure out how do we get you on the for for memorial Day weekend so weird stuff always pops up on on my you know social media and timeline and I just happen to have a hat popped up to say white boy of the year and I I put it in the group chat wanted to know if I was worthy of getting said hat so what you saying is and then pay asked about how this all went is there a voting process is it an MVP kind of status whatever I said it was more like the Oscars you know like there were different categories of winners um I could be in the Food Service Podcast categories yeah so so what you’re saying is be that your purchases your past purchases the algorithm is picked up at your white Air ridiculous both those things yes he got a Bill Murray short on right now yeah Bill muray hey but but my favorite time Bill Murray movie is but so past five years AFC North teams five years what you guys to tell me who’s who’s had the best record who’s in the bottom and who has the best division record in the last five years 19 20 21 22 23 I could take this because if the Steelers weren’t first you wouldn’t have brought it up so they’re first in at least one or two of those categories so and then you can go okay I I tell you this last five years the Ravens won two two two North titles B won two North titles Steelers won one now y’all tell me in the last five years who has the best winning record in the division I’m gonna say the Steelers because you wouldn’t have brought it up up unless that was the answer but we’re talking about the AFC North so that’s why but you wouldn’t have brought up that stat unless the answer was think about the Browns I feel like the best uh MVP I think Deshawn Watson gonna be back man I mean I think he if you remember y’all all call everybody trash the Browns trash the Browns went to the play last year Joe flacko got him in winning like four last five I believe but if you remember they won that game at Baltimore that’s when the game DeShaun Watson got hurt and stayed in the game to finish it he brought them back that was his best game of the year best game in a few years probably only good game that season but then he got hurt he was out so it was coming along I think hurt a lot of quarterbacks last year you’re right I think he’s going to be uh healthy this year I think he’s going to be better he’s going to start earning some of that money he’s obviously won’t be the best quarterback in the division but when you talk about a collective if you add up just you know uh Pro bowls and everything for all the quarterbacks in our division Steelers included uh probably the best best quarterback division in in football I would say so facts that’s big facts I got Deshawn Watson win MVP I got uh miles Garrett leading that defensive player of the year and the defensive player player of the year is a defensive player of the year in the NFL like pay said but in this instance he shouldn’t be yeah I put up I put up a some numbers the other day on on pump your breaks and TJ watt like eight sacks ahead of him the last five last five years um and behind both of them like the next guy was like 20 sacks behind miles Garett might that’s why the NFL office need to be under investigation might have been the ma Max prb B D you think your dude your dude Trey Henderson got 55 career sacks yet I can’t remember if he was on there or not uh so seven he’s his average is eight is do they do have a new defensive coordinator so you know Paul’s Paul’s for uh being super over over the tops on him right now you got to see how it meshes right now um as far as the question where would I put them in in the division rankwise um they were the best defense last year and I don’t think they fall off too B too bad even with a new coach they might have a different scheme we don’t know have to see so I will put them number two right now just because Cleveland has some continuity more continuity put the Browns over the Steelers defense just because Ahad just because they have more continuity than the Ravens have right now that would be it B Dirk H how you see the Bengals defense this year but I feel like the Ravens lost a lot of lot they lost pieces so so wait a minute so
