Major League day baseball including couple of games still going on right now and we’ll get you caught up with everything that’s happening in the MLB because we’ve got a pretty good slate of games coming up next hour and for the rest of the evening including the Yankees trying to keep it rolling against the twins the Mets trying to do what no other team seems to have been able to do and that is beat Ranger Suarez who is on a absolute historic tear uh in his start so far for the Philadelphia Phillies but will the Phillies be able to score enough in order to help him tonight get the win so looking forward to that one and don’t look now but the Texas Rangers are they ever going to win another game here lost again to the Guardians the Champs are on the ropes right now trying to figure out exactly what to do and boy oh boy uh what a night is going to be Carlos Carrasco all of 87 years young will be pitching for the Guardians if you would think that the Rangers could get off the snide by that’s right beating Carlos Carrasco here tonight but nothing is guaranteed with this team we also have NBA playoffs coming up here tonight and well we’ve got one NBA playoff game coming up we also have another uh basically a formality they have to throw the ball out there and they have to pretend like we have any clue that the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to win a game because they are absolutely not but Boston at home looking to close out the Cavs here tonight no Donovan Mitchell we know this uh it is uh it is come down he has been ruled out which is why you are seeing the number where it is at right now at 6 uh the total also hovering around the 205 205 and a half mark here it’s essentially whether or not you believe the Celtics will rip through this Cavs team early and often and put the game away or do you think the Cavs can muster up enough three-point shooting like they did at home in last game to keep this thing close enough to make betters worried and having to sweat out laying the 16 points there as you can see this is going to be an interesting one yes it’s got blowout all over it but you know what they say the hardest game to win in any playoff series is the closeout game and the Celtics at home up three games to one are trying to do just that but again I will remind folks winning is one thing covering is a whole different ball game here and nobody knows that better of course than the game coming up right after that one tonight game five the all important game five in Oklahoma City as the Thunder are getting ready to take on the Dallas Mavericks here Dallas did everything right in that last game except make free throws and win the game and because of that instead of coming into OKC in game five up three games to one this series is noted up at two a piece Dallas has thoroughly outplayed Oklahoma City here in the series and and what do they have to show for it well just two wins and now Oklahoma city has the opportunity to go up three games to two and a possible closeout situation in Dallas in a couple of nights so this Series has always felt like zigzag was in play one team would win the other team would win one team would win we’re kind of heading down that path here but so far Dallas and the injuries and the health of Luca donic always a concern but the role players have stepped up thus far who outside of SGA can deliver for OKC here tonight we will talk much about that coming up this hour here on Game Time decisions not let’s not forget we only have one NHL game in the playoffs tonight it two is the possible closeout situation as the number one seed in the west the Dallas Stars looking to close it out against the Colorado Avalanche at home Dallas uh no less AER has been phenomenal Colorado has been atrocious in so many different ways in this series including not being able to win a game at home which not many people saw coming given the fact that they were absolutely dominant during the regular season on their own home ice but they’re back is against the wall down three games to one you got to love urgency and teams playing with their hair on fire and that is what you’re going to get in a couple of these playoff games here tonight especially with the Colorado Avalanche fighting to get back to Colorado for an all important game number six so that should be a lot of fun not to mention of course the Cavs trying to do the same thing just extend the series one game at a time against Boston not sure they’re going to be able to get that done but it is certainly going to be a fun night here watching it all unfolds we also have the start of the WNBA season underway we’ve got a couple of games on the Slate here tonight we’re going to talk some WNBA here as uh as when we as we move along through the hour here a lot of people very excited about one Caitlyn Clark and she has put a spotlight squarely on the WNBA and that is fantastic for the league I think it’s fantastic uh for the sport for teams uh this is uh this is going to be a very fun season and we’re going to see how much interest the mainstream media has in this league and whether or not it’s a good thing or eventually a bad thing here but we got plenty of action here to come and we’ve also got what many people believe is a whole lot of edges to be had in b the WNBA this season the more popular it is the more public money comes in the more public money that comes in the bigger discrepancy there is from what the Line closes at and what the line should be so this is going to be interesting to monitor as the season progresses a whole lot of eyes and people who have never bet the sport are going to be betting the sport because of getting Clark so it should be fun here tonight and should be fun watching how many more games the Colorado Rockies can actually win here because they are well on their way to winning their seventh game in a row as they are on top of the Padres seven nothing top of the eighth inning they are looking to sweep the Padres here the Padres are just going through it they cannot seem to get it done at the plate in the Rockies are playing some of their best baseball here during this stretch and you look at who they have beaten too Texas the the Giants they’re now beating the Padres they are seven runs 10 hits in this game right now on the top of the eighth don’t sleep on the Rockies all of a sudden very undervalued and been very profitable and you know who else has been extremely profitable over the last month you’re not going to believe this the Chicago White Socks have once again won a game today they beat the Nats again two nothing here and the white socks quietly cashing tickets for backers quietly now uh under the table you don’t want to tell too many people that the white socks are actually winning baseball games and that is exactly what they are doing at some pretty good prices uh Brewers took down the pirates that was an awful lot of fun here today watching the Pirates uh not be able to hit water if they fell out of a boat and the Orioles won a game they beat the Blue Jays 322 we’ll have much more on today’s Major League Baseball schedule plenty of great games still coming up here tonight NBA playoffs NHL playoffs and oh yeah they are now leaking or releasing yeah leaking the upcoming NFL schedule and boy do we have some news on that front for you come back and getting hurt for good at sa that trout injury really is a bummer too because people thought he was going to have a big a big year and I I look I don’t feel bad for the Angels I I I don’t like Mike Baseball what is usually a getaway day uh Wednesday and Thursdays you get a lot of afternoon baseball we’ve had couple of games already in the books we have a couple of games uh in the last half in the Innings and a whole lot of baseball getting ready to start and our good friend George Curt stepping in here and kurts uh before we get to baseball and how we should run to the window and bet the Rockies to win the World Series because apparently they’re never losing again uh up eight nothing over the Padres right now for win number seven in a row I did want to get to this because I thought it was fantastic I love how today was the release of the NFL schedule it’s actually not today it’s supposed to be tonight at 8:00 Eastern the NFL will officially release the schedule to everybody so we can all start making plans of where we’re going to travel what you know what games do you want to go to it’s all this big thing except it is the worst kept secret of anything in sports ever why because we already know what the schedule is and more importantly our good friend Warren sharp here at the network posted this earlier and you’ll appreciate this Curts as a Jets fan because what could possibly go wrong with this the Jets are now the first team in NFL history to have six Prime Time games in the first 11 weeks of the Season that includes the first Monday Night Football game the first Thursday night football game another Monday night football game against the bills Sunday night against the Steelers Thursday night against the Texans and of course week 11 against the Colts Another Sunday Night Football matchup first time we’ve ever seen a team get not one not two not three this is even Bonkers because usually this was reserved to the bellich Brady years like every time we turned around they were on prime time or Dallas no no it’s the New York Jets this year here CTS you feeling good about six Prime Time games in 11 weeks depends on how you look at it you would have thought the N the NFL would have learned their lesson last year right the Jets had a lot of Prime Time games last year as well Aaron Rogers gets hurt game one and we’re like oh God we gotta watch this in prime time that’s the bad news the good news is know living in New York you know all right get rid of the Jets on Sunday afternoon we’ll get more double headers you know we see more other teams other than the Jets here the NFL is obviously banking on Aaron Rogers to come back and be fully healthy which is a big gamble for a 40 plus year old coming back from Achilles we’ll see what he can be but they gambling he’s going to come back and he’s going to be a draw which is weird because listen I have nothing against the Jets I’m a Cowboys fan all right I have really nothing I don’t care about the Jets so but they’re not a national draw what what are you hoping for here you know this as you said this is not the Patriots Steelers uh Chiefs you know teams that are you know these teams that are draws everybody wants to go watch it’s the Jets you know they get one injury boy we’re gonna eat this again so uh curious to how they do that but they want the Jets to succeed also Warren pointed out that I believe three of their first six games they’re playing rookie quarterbacks actually it might be three their first five games so they want the jet to get up to a good start and be a team that we’re all talking about in October yeah and that is what we call the Aaron roders effect uh we we’ve heard of the Tom Brady effect CTS this is the Aaron roders effect because don’t forget they had one of the easiest schedules when it came to rest in the NFL last year where they were fully planning on giving Aaron Rogers a lot of time uh in fact between games uh better of a rest Edge than anybody he would have faced but unfortunately yeah four plays into the season uh that didn’t work out all that well there’s going to be plenty to unpack here with this uh bunch of London Games Germany overseas games uh the Christmas games are already posted here but I’m so glad the release is that 8:00 here tonight really great job there NFL of keeping that under wrap here um8 nothing Rockies Padres do you have the Rockies and this is what I love about baseball carts that if you didn’t look at baseball all year and you just started watching this past week you’d think the Rockies were World beaters or even better yet the white socks are World beaters both teams bad as you may seem in 162 Game season are you I mean it’s it’s a long baseball season bad teams are going to play well at some point and you know good teams are going to play poorly it happens here but let’s oh come on Joe I didn’t know if kado win seven games in a month more less seven in a row here now I ate it on on Friday I ate it on Saturday all right I I was on the ranges against the Rockies I did not bet it on uh did not bet it on Sunday I did bet the against the Rockies on Monday I’ve now learned my lesson I’m not doing it okay I didn’t bet him against the Rockies last night didn’t bet against them today listen they’re on a heater bottom line is they’re on a heater uh I’m surprised I mean I understood of understood Monday’s loss by the Padre’s you had a big game over the week a big series over the weekend against the Dodgers right the hated Dodgers big rival you take two out of three but now you’re about to get swept by The Rock I mean come on no one no I don’t care how big a Rockies fan you are you did not see this coming but no I stayed away learned my lesson over the weekend here I’m a good boy I’m going to need to see them lose a game or two start picking on them again it’s why it’s such an ultimate grind handicapping Major League Baseball over 162 Game season because there are always stretches in the season where teams that are like you said are not good but the markets can’t react fast enough CTS we’ve seen it with Oakland we’re seeing it with the white socks we’re seeing it now with the Rockies and oh yeah we saw it with Baltimore Orioles a couple of years ago you just can’t adjust to what the market gives you fast enough so that means huge money-making opportunities like the Cubs are eventually going to score a run right at some point against Atlanta or no it’s not going to happen they getting shut out again here tonight oh I sure they wouldn’t been a shut out here but I’m on the Braves I mean you said they’re not scoring here which is kind of weird they survived without their injuries right when Bellinger and Suzuki were out they still won their games but now the those guys are back here I know they’ve got some other injuries as well but they’re not playing well they’re not hitting so yes I’m going to pick against a team that’s not that’s having trouble scoring here so I’m going to be on the Braves here you want to take him on the Run line I’m fine with that too Charlie Morton has been a serviceable pitcher give me Morton in the Braves it’s hard to look anyway but at Atlanta at that price the Yankees and strowman have an interesting one in Minnesota and so do the Mets have an interesting matchup we’ll talk about both of those when game time against the best pitcher in Major League Baseball and I I don’t think I’m being you know over the top with that Ranger Suarez has been absolutely unreal so far this year but Philadelphia is not hitting at the moment uh C so what happens here do the Mets have a shot tonight against Philly well the problem is the Mets aren’t hitting at all against anybody so uh I mean and they’re throwing what lucasi who was called out to make this start today so all signs point to uh the Phillies yeah is supposed to be back in the lineup tonight he missed the game yesterday with what a migraine schwarber should be back as well I think he played yesterday anyway so uh they’re about as healthy as they’re going to get no Trey Turner of course he’s on the iil but I’m on the Phillies tonight going to start in about 15 minutes here it is a miserable uh night here on the uh East Coast you know the Northeast that is uh wet rainy uh I wouldn’t say cold but cool probably around 55 here so keep that in mind here but the Mets aren’t hitting and they’re starting to catch a lot of crap here right the New York me is all over them they can’t hit blah blah blah what are we going to do and all this other stuff I mean what’s the Lindor batting 200 204 not really talking about that as much as you might think uh they are probably going to release Joey Wendell they’re calling up the endos to try and get something out of the bottom of their lineup here because Brett batty is also in a major slump so all signs point to the Phillies here I’ll take it give me the phills also seeing an awful lot of money coming in on strowman and the Yankees here which is heads scratching because there aren’t a whole lot of matchups where I think strowman the advantage but I guess when you strike out as much as the twins he could probably throw everything in the dirt Cs and they probably still swing so are you are you shocked this is not a bigger number with Lopez on the mound for the twins no because once again we all know the yakis record vers the twins right it’s a team they they own you know for whatever that’s worth here that being said strowman’s been okay this year and his last three or four starts have not been good they they’ve not been terrible but they’ve not been good you can make an argue with the play here is maybe take the twins over team total here maybe that’s where you want to go doesn’t guarantee you a win for the twins but I think they will score runs against Marcus strowman today this feels like a 54 game somewhere around there Lopez I think will keep the Yankees under control you know what I mean by that he’s not gonna give He’s Not Gon to pitch a shut out but I don’t think he’s gonna give up seven runs either he’ll keep the twins in the game here I think we get some run score I feel like a five4 gamees coming four three more of a bullpen game uh coming late here but Joe you mentioned that Twins lineup who are you afraid of I mean really who are you afraid of in that lineup car kareah you know Jeffers the catcher maybe the guy you actually you fear most there uh Buck’s out on the I and he’s not the player he used to be anyway there’s nobody there it’s amazing they won all those games in a row with that lineup and really is but you know give them credit they took advantage of a week schedule and they won the games they were supposed to win they’re doing it with pitching in a bullpen shocker there uh talk about what is going on with the Rangers talking about not hitting my goodness uh how many are they going to win tonight against an 80-year-old Carlos Carrasco I mean please tell me the Rangers of the play here Curts normally yeah but how can you play them they’re not you just said they’re not hitting they’re not hitting at all they’re in a team wi St and once again we see this during a baseball season where nobody on a team can hit right they nobody can do anything here and I know they’ve got a couple of injuries uh the rookies langford’s on the iil uh Carter who may maybe back this weekend but those weren’t a big part of the team right I mean where’s Garcia where’s Seager where’s seian you know Jahim the catcher they should be hitting fine here they shouldn’t be having the problem they’re having they couldn’t hit in Colorado thank you for you know waving byebye the money out of my wild here as I was on the rang for a couple of those games I’m gonna need them see them hit again Carrasco is a softball pitcher ordinarily I would be all over this thinking the Reigns gonna crush this guy but I can’t bet them right now not out a minus 184 favorite maybe I go the over the eight and a half they’re not going to get shut down you know cuz let’s face it John Gray’s nothing special either here so I can see it taking the over here uh but that’s juice minus 124 right now yeah so I don’t know where you want to go with this game I’m staying away from it other than a I’ll have a small play on the over but I don’t see how I can bet bet the range until I see uh some more prod productivity out of them kind shocking is really what it is here stop me if you’ve heard this uh before Curts the Astros were caught cheating uh I’m sorry was caught cheating yeah I I tell was floored I could not believe that a member of the Houston Astros would be uh accused and suspended 10 games now uh I guess we know why the ball was right Welcome Back ingame Time decisions here on this Wednesday middle of May uh which means we are right smack in the middle of playoff time in the NBA and we’ve got a couple of games coming up here tonight in the association closeout game opportunity for the Celtics and the all important game five with Dallas and OKC and here to help us navigate through all of that is the one the only Mr Mark Zeno in the house here in Zen uh celebrated a uh your Knicks uh came through last night in a big way so they’ve got a big opportunity coming up but uh do we trust the Celtics enough to win this not just win it but cover it by the 156 points they’re laying here tonight against the Cavs yeah I mean look uh sources tell me the Cavs are listen is questionable all of them uh I don’t know if they’re actually going to play this game but they’re not going to win the game okay look the Celtics are going to close this thing out tonight it’s just a question of how now I’m somebody who as you know Joe as you watched it live unfold alongside had the eight and a half Celtics minus eight and a half the other night and uh watched it go up in Flames thank you very much Caris LeVert who by the way is questionable with a knee injury All I’m gonna say is it’s not me wasn’t me so uh beyond that I don’t want to lay 14 and a half with the Celtics again uh I also don’t want to lay eight and a half in the first half here because what I’ve seen the last two games is guess what the Cavs hang around for the first quarter and they hang around for the first half and what happens is the Celtics pull away late and in reality when you’re laying big numbers you don’t really ever want to take the opportunity away from the favorite to use the fulltime to be able to get over that number but here’s the game script what I’m thinking if we’re going to assume that the Celtics are going to win this game right the only way the Cavs win this game is if the Celtics don’t show up defensively and the Cavs are shooting the lights out so if we agree game two is not going to repeat itself the Celtics are going to win this game in some size of fashion if I believe the Celtics have the ability to cover this number and I do overall they they’re 14 points better than Cleveland I would have to think that the first quarter number and the first half number are too rich for me Cleveland can hang around and they will hang around it’s the only energy and motivation they have is try to fight for 24 minutes when they come at a halftime that’s when Boston steamrolls the Cavaliers that’s when Boston turns around and goes okay if we’re only up by three or four now we’ve got to put some distance in between them right now we’ve got to believe that we got to put some distance between them and put them away in the fourth or if they’re up by eight or nine whatever it may be it’s the attitude is come out step on their throat early make this thing a 20-point game and they’ll never look back in the fourth quarter with that in mind I’m gonna play the Cavs third quarter minus four and a half right now is the way I’m going to go here and take it sort of pre- flop before the game tips off because I don’t know what number I’m going to get based off of the situation in the game I could have a bad number I could have a good number but my my feeling here is that if the Celtics want to win the game if they’re trailing at half if or it’s tied at half if they don’t dominate the third quarter guess what they’re gonna be in danger of losing the game and extending the series so this third quarter to me is everything about this game script which tells me that the Celtics have an opportunity to go out win the game cover the game step on their throats whatever it may be so we looked at the third quarter here for the for the Celtics who in the last two games have pulled away in that third quarter to take advantage and go ahead late what what are you thinking with the uh the total I mean the total is right around what it was last game and it went over because the Cavs went over uh 102 points they scored here if this is a blowout and the Cavs only get the 90 is this thing going over here at 206 now I mean it only goes over if the Celtics end up scoring 120 I I I genuinely they got to be at 115 120 because if anything I would play Cleveland’s team total under and the only reason Cleveland got over their team total last game was because of a whole bunch of dumb you know what that happened at the end of that game um so you know it should have that they should have stayed way under uh and I think that that’s the way to play it if you want to look at a team total I would stay away from the whole total for the game and just look individually at one team and say do I believe the Celtics can get over 111 possibly or do I believe that they’re more likely to hold Cleveland under 95 and a half which I think is probably the way I would go what are you thinking about the late game here all important game five uh tonight Dallas and uh okay listen if Dallas could make 60% of their free throws we’re having a different discussion about this game Zen yeah but also you have to say if if the Oklahoma City Thunder were shooting anything remotely close to what their three-point percentages for the season we have a completely different series I mean this was the number one three-point shooting team during the regular season at 38.9% they’re shooting less than 30% from three in this series Joe like that’s the determining Factor here so my feeling is at some point I would tend to think that some of the numbers for Oklahoma City especially at home where they hit 47.7% of their shots in the field and 37% of the shots from three would have to normalize here uh in this game I’m sorry 38 from three they’re 49 look at the wrong numbers here 49% from the field and 38% from three they have to come back to what their what their normaly is and this is the opportunity for them to do it at home in a swing game five if they shoot less than 33% from three like they have in the last three games they might not win this thing they’re going to need some help and that’s the only reason these games are staying under is because at least in one game you’ve had either one of these teams just have a really bad shooting effort around in some size way shape or form with the exception in game two where we had that 119 110 final which is the only game in the series that’s gone over um I I think that you know we hope at least I hope to see that again too with it being back in OKC that both of these teams pick up the shooting here but in short I laid it with Oklahoma City minus four I didn’t want to try to get too cute here I’ve seen too many of these things go under and as the game gets into the fourth quarter what we have seen from these two teams is that they tighten up in and of themselves the pace just slows down and they tighten up so I wasn’t willing to look at the total here but I think Oklahoma City is the marketly better team if they’re shooting returns to normal especially from three they should cover this number so would you OKC correlates to an over because they’re going to going to have to score some points right uh and Dallas you think correlates to the under in this uh in this kind of spot on the road yeah I mean but again it doesn’t H there’s still a way that you know the Thunder win this game 10296 right like that’s all right we’ve just seen that game materialized so uh I don’t know if the under necessarily correlates to Dallas per se but I tell you this much if it goes over my guess is it’s because Oklahoma City has scored 115 117 11 120 in this game and they’re they’re the you know they’re doing most of the heavy lifting in that in the scoring category who wins the series then tonight whoever wins this game or are we still going seven I mean look I pretty this way if Oklahoma City loses this game I don’t think they’re winning the series I don’t think they’re going to be able to win too straight so they have to win tonight I feel like there’s more pressure on a young team like this to win in this spot because them having to overcome a 3-2 deficit winning on the road and then winning a deciding game seven when this group has never been in a game seven um probably puts a lot of pressure on them that is undue so I I would look at them if they win this this series tonight I think you you have a decent chance for them to consider the series over if they lose though uh I don’t think they can come back from 3-2 down so let me ask you what I I just asked George Curts uh are the Cubs going to score another run this year I’m just just curious um for Atlanta I would think I would I would hope so uh I mean you know baseball tells you that they kind of have to eventually score a run uh look they got no runs and eight hits in two games in this series the Cubs lineup is just better than that it just is uh what I’m playing on here in this game and I took the one and a half of the Cubs at a very moderate minus 118 um I took the the one and a half here just simply because Charlie Morton is a pitcher who is feast or famine I’ve said this repeatedly about him he’s either really great going six Innings giving up one run or two runs or he gets knocked around for four or five runs early on he’s had four starts in a row where he’s given up two runs or less probably time for him to have some regression and the Cubs going scoreless in the last two games uh feel like it’s the right time to back them it’s the best bet you can get in baseball when you get this short of a a number as use is concerned I’m comfortable back in the Cubs here plus the one and a half you know what uh the other best bet in baseball I don’t know if you saw this here but let me oh yeah the white socks won uh today and so is Colorado going for number S I think they just they they W so who who to th it uh white socks in Colorado the best G yarro is probably going to start it uh for the Dodgers against web uh I don’t care it’s still the Giants they can’t score runs uh and I don’t care who’s throwing for the Dodgers uh but what are you thinking of this game here tonight how much Faith do you have in the Giants to pull out another upset um not a ton I mean look I I just look at the bats and the lineups here and and figure that LA’s lineup is and bats are are markedly better than the Dodgers I know Logan Webb is going for San Francisco but uh the Dodgers this year Joe have been minus a favorite of minus 155 or less uh 14 times they’re 10 and four straight up so uh you know just on the money line I mean for me that’s enough to back Los Angeles you don’t get a lot of opportunities to play the Dodgers at this price take advantage of it like you have to live with the fact that they may lose this game but there’s there’s just not a lot of opportunities to play the Dodgers at around a minus 140 price so uh these are one of the rare spots I suck up the juice and say let’s go la yeah I I think that’s kind of the way to do it here sometimes you got to bite the bullet but the better team will win the game I don’t care who is starting there how about our Yankees here seems to be a lot of faith in strowman tonight in the market I thought this number would be higher for the twins but it’s not so h how do you approach this one is it faith in strowman or faith in Lopez that’s going for Minnesota I mean put it it this way I mean as much as I still have my reservations about the Yankees overall uh I would tend to tell you that um given how good their Bullpen is and given the fact that Lopez is starting like I would just play the twins first fiveyear money line because you’re probably going to get a fairly you know decent price and if you end up in a tie one one or z z it gets there but I don’t want to give the Yankees lineup right now nine at bats to go beat me especially on the road right so uh I would only play them first half um you know and again with Minnesota being the favorite laying the one and a half you know isn’t advantageous either in this spot so if I’m G to do anything with Minnesota I’d take the first five money line and hope that Lopez is super sharp uh and and the twins find a way to get to strowman which is not all that difficult uh personally if ask me but they find a way to get to strowman enough here to have a have a slim lead after five innings there is no way Texas is not going to win a game especially tonight right I mean me it’s the end of a seven game Road Trip for the Guardians like this line what happened to this Rangers like they literally can’t score last year the only thing that kept the Rangers around because their starting pitching was so bad because Andrew HEI had an RA of six G running had an RA of four and they were still winning because they were scoring seven eight runs a game this lineup just can’t they don’t have it and it’s not like this is a lineup that’s like oh my God these guys are so banged up I mean simeon’s still there seagull’s still there La Garcia they’re all still there right they’re just not scoring runs so I don’t know what to do with the Rangers right now because I I I I can’t count on them to score they gotta score I mean John Gray I think has the best ER in the American League right by the way Class A is not uh available tonight for the Guardians and carrasco’s 105 like if you can’t win this game by margin Texas just pack it in bochi just give get hold on to your TR just go just go away at some point they gotta win game here tonight Cleveland is a team too that’s bats have cooled off since the first month of the year right like that was why they had that great start because they were hitting the ball and they were scoring this is not a lineup you’re typically associated with being scared with but the first month of the season they were scoring and now they’re not they’ve come back down to earth and you’ve seen them start to normalize a little bit um you know and and they’re they’re a lot more beatable yeah but very beatable uh actually now no Bieber no nothing uh what are we doing with the Rays and and the Red Sox here tonight TSH Bradley at Hal feels like an under game but what it’s Fenway yeah I mean I I played the first five under here between Tampa and Boston I know Tosh Bradley’s only making second start so that’s a little bit of a wild card but the Red Sox from an offensive standpoint they sit around 18 19th 20th when it comes to batting average Ops and WRC Plus at home uh they’re not tearing the cover off the ball at home like they were last year Tanner ha despite his three and four record has been very good with a 2.2 erra and a sub one whip Tampa Bay has hit the fewest home runs on the road this year they’ve scored the second fewest runs in their bottom five in batting average Ops and WRC Plus on the road this year that’s enough for me to look between Tanner ha and TSH Bradley uh who was one of the more reliable starters for the Rays um for the better part of last year uh you get those two starters on the mound I really feel like hey that might be a spot here where uh even though the first five is at four uh as opposed to three and a half or the seven and a half total I’m not I’m not upset about laying or or taking the under four there and at worst you know trying to get a tie feels like a good pitching match up perod knows are usually under games anyway uh what there is a good pitcher pitching here uh right now he plays for the Philadelphia Phillies and Rangers Suarez but the Mets can’t hit either boy does this feel like a one-sided under does it not it does I mean but it’s one of those things where the price the problem is the price for me was just way out a whack the Phillies were basically minus 195 they were basically two to one as this game just getting underway now and you know I know they’ve won all eight starts that that Suarez has been on the mound for he’s seven and0 but still like you can’t sit here and get me to to lay that price with a division rival you know in a game like this it’s just it was way too inflated and you’re at the point right now where Suarez is becoming a guy that uh that is almost unbal until he starts coming back down to earth a little bit I I agree met team total under one and a half uh that’s that’s all important game five we got the New Kids on the Block there in OKC versus well a much more veteran Laden team there in Dallas uh something has got to give should be a good one I still think it’s Celtics win this game well the Celtics will await either the New York Knicks or the Indiana Pacers and uh if we’re being honest with one another here we’re hoping it’s the Pacers aren’t we or are we thinking the New York Knicks would be the much better battle against the Boston Celtics and would anobi be healthy enough to come come back and and play against the Celtics if that were the case here as you can see the Celtics are a clear Eastern Conference winner favorite here at minus 600 the Knicks followed by the Pacers and then of course the Cav should just say plus LOL let’s be realistic that is just not going to happen but a $6 favorite uh for the Celtics who I I hate the injury thing here but the path for the Celtics this year some things are meant to be uh and we have said it from the very beginning the Celtics could very well be Their Own Worst Enemy they have in the past it’s exactly what it’s been about with them where they have lost games they should not have lost when it mattered the most but will that be all water under the bridge and will they be able to handle business tonight and then no matter who they play whether it be in Indiana or it uh it’ be the New York Knicks I will say this I don’t think the books can set a number high enough for a total in a series against the Pacers I think that would be certainly very interesting to watch unfold uh with the dep of Indiana and how they would just absolutely want to go up Tempo uh that should be a lot of fun here the Knicks it’s all about whether they can get anybody back healthy enough to be able B to make it to the next round either way the Celtics are sitting pretty here with a chance to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals out west oh boy there’s a lot more still to be determined there and get underway of course the all important elimination game game five in the NBA playoffs between the Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers just a few minutes away from the opening tip there 15 a half is what the Boston Celtics if you’d like to back them would have to win by total starting to come down here a little bit 205 uh 205 and a half now as the Cavs are trying to save their season but they’re going to have to do it without Donovan Mitchell we also have another game coming up after that that’ll be out west with Oklahoma City taking on the Dallas Mavericks in a all important game five with a series tied at 22 can Dallas uh get back to their home court with an opportunity to close out or can Oklahoma City win this game and have an opportunity uh to not have to worry about coming home to close it out in a game seven so so much uh still to be decided here in the NBA and it begins in just a few in Boston at the Garden there as the Cavs and the Celtics are going to tip off we also have a couple of WNBA games uh coming up here tonight as the opening night of the 2024 WNBA season uh has come and gone and interesting stuff there last night as Caitlyn Clark uh made her debut the number one overall pick the the one uh the one name that is certainly going to be able to move the for the WNBA uh while she was in action last night we also saw the backtack Champs the Los Vegas Aces get their Rings last night uh unbelievable the New York Liberty pulled off a big fourth quarter comeback last night and the Minnesota links uh ended up upending the Seattle Storm the new look Seattle Storm uh in fact so we had four games there last night we’ve got two here tonight but how did did Caitlyn Clark do in her uh her welcome to the WNBA first game well she did a pretty good job there 20 points three assists two steals but one thing you won’t see on there is the fact that she turned it over 10 times Tuesday which is the most in a debut all time in the WNBA so that in fact I believe set the the fever franchise record uh the most uh turnovers ever in a game but let’s be realistic here this is not Iowa uh she’s not playing South Carolina this is a totally different game and there will be an adjustment period for Caitlyn Clark but make no mistake about it uh she missed her first three shots she ended up turning the ball over she picked up two quick fouls and yet those numbers tell us that once she settled down and she uh she let it go uh she was she’s going to be just fine and uh the only adjustment she’s going to have that I see she’s going to have to deal with the physicality right now in the WNBA like listen NBA players same thing you know you’re not uh you’re not playing for Murray State anymore this is a totally different ball game in the NBA and it’s the same thing with kin Clark uh and she had to she had to go through it last night I would imagine she’s going to have to go through it for the first couple of weeks in the league but I do think the future is bright for Caitlyn Clark and the WNBA because the numbers will come in guys we’re talking about the most watched uh female basketball player that we have seen and ever really uh the numbers were out of control uh with her final games in the tournament at Iowa there that is or at least they hope will transcend into the WNBA it certainly is going to change the betting markets for the WNBA this is not a market that was uh that carried a huge handle at sports books it was a very Niche sport uh I know I have a couple of very good friends that it’s the only sport they ever bet and it’s simple because they feel they get the biggest Edge in the numbers in that Sport and if you throw in now a whole lot more public money betting a sport that they don’t often watch or are new to well yeah it won’t take as much money to actually move the market as uh it would for let’s say uh I don’t know the NFL or the NBA so it’s going to be an adjustment period for the books I think it’s going to be an adjustment uh for betters uh and certainly it’s going to be an adjustment here for Caitlyn Clark either way I think it’s going to be a lot of fun uh to keep an eye on the w W NBA this season here and you know haly’s Comet every now and then an athlete comes by that kind of changes a sport forever and usually for the better uh we’ve seen it with Tiger Woods in golf we’ve seen it with Kobe and Michael in the NBA uh you can go down the list here there are some people that just Elevate the game and Caitlyn Clark certainly feels like she is in that category uh we also have an update in major league baseball right now where uh the Mets and the Phillies wow that didn’t take long couple of uh runs on the board already for both teams it’s 1-1 with Rangers Suarez on the mound for the Phils here the Mets got a couple of hits and a run right here in the top of the first inning against Suarez looks like uh the Phillies answered in the bottom half Mets back up to the plate right now and shout out to uh Brandon uh Brandon F who pitched a seven inning gem against the Reds earlier today now this was a guy that was Mr October if you remember in the postseason last year didn’t have a great regular season but he he became a household name overnight uh last season with that postseason run had a couple of shaky starts to start the season and everyone thought he might be a flash in the pan but I’m telling you yes his numbers are a little off because of those terrible outings he had early in the season but his last four starts have all been quality seven Innings two hits one earn run nine strikeouts for this kid do not sleep on Arizona or Brandon F when he has an opportunity to go to the mound the market is undervaluing him he will win a whole lot of games for you this year Cubs and Braves getting ready to get underway as is the Tampa Bay Rays and the Boston Red Sox another great pitching battle set up here with Taj Bradley having the opportunity for the first time to go on the road and start a game at Fenway Park you may recall uh had the injury last year came last week against the Yankees his first opportunity at home there to pitch against the Yanks he did very well there un fortunately Tampa couldn’t hit and he didn’t get the win but he certainly showed that he’s got the velocity he’s got the movement uh and he is going to be a tough pitcher to face and so is Tanner ha who has not had a whole lot of run support when he is pitched but he is uh he is throwing the ball really really well one of the big surprises I thought this year of the Boston Red Sox uh they are just getting underway nothing nothing in that one at Fenway the Yankees and twins heading your way here with strowman and Lopez that is coming up in just about 20 minutes here the Yankees have owned the twins the Yankees will hopefully continue to own the twins but I’m not buying strowman I just can’t do it so I do think the twins are the right side here tonight in fact I think they’re the right side by laying the run and a half even at plus money to beat the New York Yankees it pains me it absolutely pains me but that’s the reality of what we’re dealing with Marcus strowman here off and running by the way uh with the Boston Celtics and the Cavs a 14-10 Boston lead right now early in the first quarter we’ll keep you posted on what happened there as we welcome in our good friend Joe Madden we got some NHL hockey tonight some playoff hockey and I man there’s something ain’t right here in avalanche land uh with this team here I mean unbeatable at home all season long actually going back a couple of years this team has been phenomenal at home and they have looked anything uh but unbeatable here against the Dallas Stars how how much of this series so far has been the stars are just that much better or the Avalanche there’s something wrong it doesn’t look right oh wait okay we’ll get there yep no problem D Jo we’ll get the audio fixed uh we’ll get the audio fixed there but I think you’ve gotta consider that maybe Dallas is that good uh but I think the the the coos suspension that came down some of the quotes coming out of the locker room have shown that maybe the ABS are a little bit split on losing one of their best players certainly one of the best playoff performers as we welcome Joe Madden uh back in I’m reading quotes Joe from the Avalanche and it seems like the nushin suspension his um unavailability here in this has rubbed some guys the wrong way there’s questions about the coaching it just feels like nothing good is happening with the Avalanche and it’s kind of hard to back them here no it is a little hard to back them without nushin out there on the ice but I do think this team with their backs up against the wal Joe I just can’t see them losing this one again we know the Dallas Stars another interesting thing about them is on their home ICE they play a more open game compared to on the road and these teams have been struggling to close things out on home ICE I do think Colorado can push it to at least one more game but then I think in the next one the Dallas Stars do finish it out because this team has been playing phenomenally strong now I caution everyone on taking Wyatt Johnson for the anytime goal today I’m hearing all over that it’s the number one prop bet on all of these books because everyone’s caught on that Wyatt Johnson is playing so strong I do think the defense of the Stars tries to lock down again kale marar and Nathan McKinnon but I do think these players find a way out there on the ice so I’m going to look at Colorado with their backs up against the W to find a way to extend their playoff lives taking them with that plus money but if they’re going to do so they haven’t been able to stop The Playmakers there of the Dallas Stars now question marks on if rupe hints will hit the ice tonight I’m not sure if he will but this team is so deep they’re able to get the goals on the Colorado Avalanche so I’m going to take the over six and a half off Joe I think this is a 43 Style game one that could finish in overtime as well but I am going to take the ODS to get the win I listen I I I do think the over is in play here especially if you like Colorado because this will not be a 3-1 game by any stretch Audra I mean give him credit the guy has been phenomenal here through 11 games in the postseason he’s had you know a couple of those games where you’re like what in the hell like especially at home like what are you doing man and like so it’s not that he’s unbeatable but when you have McKinnon ran M they got to score more than two goals which is all they’ve mustered here in the last couple of games yeah and they have to start converting on the power play and that’s what this has come down to when we look at the five on five play for these teams I actually still do think Colorado is playing a more solid game but it’s special teams we’re seeing the Dallas Stars being able to convert and the Colorado Avalanche are the game plan around that is they take care marar and Nathan McKinnon out of the situation and they’re begging the other players of Colorado to try to get those goals when it has to be kale Marr and Nathan McKinnon so those Playmakers need to find a way to get open on that ice Joe special team needs to convert for the ABS and they have every opportunity but if they can’t Dallas is going to finish it off tonight and uh Advance onto the next so I had a couple of friends of mine that had Edmonton in regulation last night and literally tore up the tickets before the end of the game which was probably a mistake in a lot of aspects there given the fact that they scored a goal at what 30 seconds left to end up winning how shocked are you with how unbelievably competitive uh this series is are you thinking seven games in this regardless uh because I just don’t think Vancouver’s not going away anytime soon are they they’re not going away and with last night’s uh win by the Edmonton Oilers tying this series 22 I really do think it goes all the way to game seven and I think this is probably an overtime win for one of these teams in game seven we’ve got third string goalies on both sides of the puck and both go tenders was my biggest shock last night that that total was so low with Edmonton winning it three to2 those goals majority coming in that third period like you said those goals came back to back in that third period as well with Edmonton being able to clinch the win so I’m not surprised this is competitive a lot of people have underestimated the Vancouver Canucks they finished first in the Pacific a point ahead of the Edmonton Oilers and this team has offensive Firepower just like Edmonton their defense is locking down and I do think the series is going to come down to who doesn’t make the mistakes out there Conor McDavid and Leon dry Ido playing absolutely amazing for the Edmonton Oilers and the defense locked down last night they’ve been really limiting the Vancouver Canuck’s ability to get those sh on goals so we’ll see what happens in the next game Joe it’s going to be epic in Vancouver all right so final question here uh Joe better chance to get to his seventh game Boston Florida or Rangers Carolina oh Rangers Carolina I think Florida finishes it off in the next one Joe put Boston out of their misery for for Pete sakes yes thanks Joe I appreciate I was uh I was invested in them doing that last night and unfortunately that didn’t work out because they thought they could take off the first period and all would be well so uh you’re going to have a couple of very interesting games coming up for sure with the Rangers in Carolina as well as Boston and the Florida Panthers and the to look forward to this weekend including the second leg of the Triple Crown and and it’s the pness at pimo in Baltimore and here to help us navigate this very big race is Craig macowski from The Daily Racing Form and uh Craig I know you must have been just as shocked as the rest of the racing world this morning when we woke up and the alert came in and said uh Shocker the favorite in the race is no longer the favorite because moth is scratched uh the number four horse what kind of chain of events did trigger for you here today I it just caused us to have to go back and re-eval evaluate the race I do a couple podcast for drf we had already recorded one so we had to do another one uh talking about the scratch and you know we got it worked out he was actually the horse I had picked on top and as you’ll find out I’m not one to normally pick favorites but I thought he was a very goodlooking favorite but it does kind of open the race up a bit more well it’s wasn’t the only bafford hor in the race we’ll get to it but I know a lot of folks are going to be hoping and praying because Mystic Dan now your Kentucky Derby winner uh looks like the odds on favorite by the time we get to post here what are the chances you think that mtic Dan will be going for a Triple Crown win at the Belmont I I would probably say if I had to put a number on it 35% I I don’t think he’s an overwhelming choice in this field he ran out a tough race last time he’s coming back on just two weeks the the trainer was a little bit hesitant about that and he’s a guy that loves to run his horses so when he’s hesitant I’m a little bit hesitant particularly when it comes to betting on him uh it’s a pretty strong field even without Mo I think there’s eight horses left only two of them the inside two would be a real shocker all the others I I think you could actually make a case for in here well but something tells me he’s not going to get the rail like he did at the Derby uh I just don’t think that’s going to happen there no don’t think that’s going to happen there at all uh all right so you said no chalk so let’s talk some of the uh some of the other horses here uh off the bat and I thought uh that uh Uncle heavy you mentioned number two horse uh all of a sudden you’ve got Iran Ortiz Jr on top here which is interesting at 20 to1 feels like he should be at uh on some of my uh my tries and superfectas no maybe at the bottom half he’s just not quite as good as these other horses I’d kind of say you know if you you put a Formula One driver in a Prius he’s still not going to win uh this is probably a little short for Uncle Heavy He’s a horse who likes to come from behind with the scratch of Mo there’s not a whole lot of pace in here so maybe he could clunk up and pass some of the horses to get tired but he wouldn’t be for me so what are we thinking about uh the uh the catching free of course Brad Cox slav and Pratt coming off of the uh the Belmont run there uh finishing fourth I believe what do we think about catching Freedom’s opportunity in this one yeah he’s obviously one of the stronger contenders in here he was actually my pick in the derby he ran fine he wasn’t able to get the job done I mean he ran fourth he was probably fourth best uh he’s another horse that likes to come from off the pace he’s by a trainer Brad Cox is a trainer guy that doesn’t normally like to turn his horses around this quick so he’s going to probably be the second choice in this field I I’m probably going to avoid him won’t be surprised if he runs well but you’re not going to make much money betting it well it’s I was on number seven justel in the derby and uh to my surprise watched ASM run him right into the ground early and often so now we got a jockey change though with Joel Rosario here for D Wayne Lucas what do you think of just steals opportunity in this one much smaller field now with eight horses he’s actually my selection in here I I think he’s going to run much better than we saw in the derby I mean he would actually have to and there’s a few things we like I do the time form US pass performan is what we’re looking at uh he was cooked in that fast pace he started really uh it was a terrible start that day two back he beat Mystic Dan and with a better trip I don’t see why he couldn’t do it again I know see there’s no reason not to look at him at a great price with Rosario on him um Imagination yes or no uh if he gets out in front is he going to be caught uh I think he will be but it’s certainly possible he could have things his own way I think the uh we got an interesting one uh happening in the NBA right now as uh how many people saw 2828 at the end of the first quarter uh as the C are are going toe to- Toe with the Celtics here early in the game but those that might have taken the 16 are feeling pretty good right now but plenty of basketball to play and plenty more going on across the board we mentioned NHL NBA playoffs we just talked about the pness uh the second leg of the Triple Crown is this weekend and let us not forget it’s also major time on the PGA tour as the PGA Championship uh will be front and center at Valhalla and nobody we want to talk to more than Brady Cannon about what’s going on with this tournament here gotta love it uh Brady this is the first time in and I can’t remember how long we’re at a major and we’re not necessarily talking about Scotty sheffler or Tiger Woods are we here uh this week it’s h feels like it’s been forever but there are no shortage of story lines heading into this is there oh you’re right I mean there’s the Sheffer storyline obviously taking the three weeks off the birth of his first child Rory mooy coming off of the win the news about the divorce Brooks Kea all of a sudden is RedHot he’s off of a win John ROM’s kind of the Forgotten man here despite you know top 10 finishes and all seven Live Events this season and yeah you can kind of just go on I mean Xander chafl is a storyline it’s now you know two times in the same calendar year he’s blown a 54 hole lead at at Big Boy events The Players Championship and and last week at the Wells Fargo but I’ll contend you know I think a lot of the sentiment out there is people have given up on Xander shafley but let’s remind ourselves he didn’t really lose those events he shot two under par on Sunday at the players and was better than most of the field at even par on Sunday at the Wells froggo he didn’t lose those events he was beaten Scotty sheffler chased bed him down with a Sunday 64 and Rory shot a 65 that should have been a 63 so those were magical performances uh by those two guys and obviously they deserve to win but let’s not confuse that with Xander throwing up all over himself no no absolutely and and you know I’ll say it again the worst part about Xander is having the lead for three rounds heading into Sunday at the top of the leader board just please be a stroke or two behind uh this weekend and feel so much better about a ticket on Xander shafley here but here’s what I’m seeing in this major out of sight out of mind Brady and what I mean is you got you mentioned live guys the the reigning champ here live guy uh we’ve talked uh you know Rah L lot of these guys that we have to consider out of sight out of mind we don’t see them anymore is that a good thing or bad thing for us coming up this week well you know I don’t no I mean I I think first of all the Liv circuit has a lot of bombers and the PGA Championship has really become a bombers major you know you’ve got Dustin Johnson and John ROM and Brooks Kea and Wen Neiman and Bryson Des Shambo I mean those are five of the longest drivers of the golf ball in the world and so they make sense here um you know I don’t know if it’s a good thing that the whole world seems to be on Brooks kepka me included I I know that recreational players you know are making up you know some of the highest ticket count handle and liability at some of the books around the country and I also know that every sharp better I’ve talked to is also on kka so I I think it’s uh you know in with both sides of the fence here the recreational and the sharp play are in on Brooks I know you know a lot of sharp people that like Walken Neiman and you know there’s another thing about these three guys Kea deshambo and Neiman not only are they exceptionally long off the tea but they’re also really good Putters and that’s a form that we’ve seen as successful here at bajala in the past at 2014 when the last time they had a PGA Championship here in Rory W if you go down about 10 15 players deep on that leaderboard every s not not every single one but you know 85 90% of them were in the top 25 for driving distance and in the top 15 for putting that week so it’s not a bad combination any week on tour but apparently it it works pretty well here at bajala drive it long find these wide Fairways stay out of the thick rough when you can that’s why I also like some of the shorter hitters here not not totally short but I landed on morawa and sep straa and Willie zalatoris they’re not dreadfully short they still hit it for God’s sake about 295 Joe but by t standards that’s kind of short but they counter that with being extremely accurate zalatoris is 28th on tour in total driving morawa and straa are second and third respectively in driving accuracy and all these guys on my list whether they be Liv or PGA Tour they have tremendous history in major championships and straa is kind of new to that conversation maybe Bryson a little bit too but these guys are really starting to show up in the biggest stages yeah I I mean I don’t think people realize just this course is rid what almost 7700 yards it’s unbelie and the the narrow Fairways on where you’ve got to drive the ball what in your opinion wins this thing uh the one who hits the most Fairways uh is it uh is it second shots I don’t think there’ll be a lot of driver sand wedges uh in this one here what are you thinking well you you’ve got rain as well there was a lot of rain in the area pre tournament and we might get a couple you know spots of rain here uh during the tournament as well so that’s going to soften up this golf course quite a bit and this zoa grass the the turf species in the Fairway is meant to you know be able to get rid of that water and dry out more quickly and so the golf course is re or the the people at bajalo are really hoping that it doesn’t get too soft and they are able to maintain something relatively firm and fast but these Fairways are actually pretty wide last year at oakill they were very narrow and that just really made things difficult for the shorter hitters but here the fairways are wide so the big hitters whether they missed the Fairway or not they’re going to be out there 350 yards they shorter hitters they might only be out there 295 or so but they’re going to be in the middle of the Fairway the problem is going to be guys that don’t hit it too far and don’t hit it accurately because then you’re way back and you’re trying to chop out of that rough wet you know rain influenced rough that even becomes you know that much more demanding so you know total driving like we have seen last week at the Wells Fargo beay Hill Tory Pines Tory total driving will be big and that is a combination of length and accuracy if you look at some of the guys I’m on Xander schafle is sixth on tour in total driving zalot torus 28th morawa 49th and sep straa 51st we don’t have those type of statistics for the Liv circuit but I can tell you that Des shambo’s number one in distance Neeman is number two and Kea is probably in the top 10 if not higher than that so we know these guys vomit K’s won the PGA three times uh Neeman has done very well on Nicholas courses he’s been redh hot this year on Liv in seven events he has four top 10 finishes and two wins he can putt very well as I mentioned earlier and then Des Shambo you know he’s starting to really show up in Majors a US US Open winner already two fourth place finishes in a PGA a top 10 in the British and just comes off of his best ever finish at the Masters uh in sixth place here’s another little something interesting For You Joe since the PGA was moved to May in 2019 the average finishing position of the eventual PGA winner at the Masters was eighth well a couple of guys on my card were in that top eight at Augusta morawa chaffle dambo so you know I think it makes sense it means if you played well at Augusta you’re probably still in pretty good form a month later yeah no it’s uh it’s going to be great uh because the story lines you talked about the competition uh the world’s best truly uh together here at Valhalla which is really all we want as golf fans and betters right let’s let’s see what the world’s best have to do against one another and I think that’s exactly what we’re going to get here uh this weekend here Brady I think it’s going to be phenomenal and if Scotty sheffler is once again winning this you and I we’re going to have a drink I’ll be texting you with in game play exactly good luck Brady game time game taking place at the Garden right now in Boston the Cavs are leading the Celtics 39-36 in game right now you can get the Celtics at – 95 we talked about it earlier uh we were hoping for a run like this from the Cav so I’ve got no problem in single digits jumping in backing Boston Scotty Wetzel stepping up here joining us he’ll be taking over at the top of the hour ingame live Prime Time and uh Scotty so far it’s working uh I said give me a single digit I’ll take it in game I got a single digit what are you thinking yeah listen Joe we made a lot of money though right uh this postseason included betting on teams that don’t have their best players you know you last night with the Knicks right with five zillion guys out what do they do they annihilate Indiana Milwaukee without the Greek Freak was really not Greek and Damen Lillard beat those same Pacers uh we’ve seen the Qui Leonard Les in the or LA Clippers win a couple of games even though they did get eliminated by Dallas so I mean it does go against the grain but man you know no you know Donovan Mitchell no Jared Allen no Caris LeVert no help assumingly right but here they are leading by a three you know when I agree with you I do think Boston’s gonna eventually win I and I like the nine and a half right now it’s a pretty good price right but when do you start like thinking uh oh you know if this gets Midway to early third quarter like maybe like 3 four minutes in you know survive that initial surge to start the second half and it’s still this type of game uh I’m a Celtic fan I’ve seen this movie many many times they are more than capable of actually losing this game outright Joe yeah yeah no and it’s interesting Scotty because they are eight of 17 so they’re 47% from three uh you know six of 14 for the Cavs so the Cavs are are hanging tough because they’re matching them from the the perimeter they also have not made a free throw yet that they even haven’t attempted a free throw yet so Boston is not they’re settling for everything outside they’re not even trying to get to the free throw line that is an interesting tactic here if you are to Celtics because I think you’re right right the longer this game goes the more the Cavs backups believe don’t they yeah listen that’s Boston’s game though right I mean they’ll shoot 43 a game you know without any problem so you know I don’t know what the numbers actually are but I’m guessing they’re one of the less however you want to describe it free throw shooting teams in the NBA I mean just stand there and shoot threes I I’ve seen guys with basically uncontested layups give them up and dish it out for a three for Al Horford you know who clanks one so I’m not surprised about that but like like I said you know early you know three four minutes into the third if this doesn’t change a little bit that’s when we’ll really see that line come down and then then you’ll be getting Boston you know minus 4 four and a half five and a half six and a half which isn’t bad I I’m laughing cuz Marcus Mars Senor is now making threes for the Cavs I didn’t even know he was on this team uh in a game and he’s making and now he’s pulling up and making uh making jump shots like the whole thing is upside down but I’m kind of with you Scotty keep making shots and keep driving that number down lower for the Celtics and you will be in right now Scotty eight and a half is Alive and Well there for the Celtics in game what did you think about the game tonight here the all important game five how were you leaning with Dallas and OKC yeah it’s a it’s a good game right good series kind of like a forgotten Series right we talk about Boston and then we got the Knicks obviously big and Denver down two zip it’s like oh by the way you got OKC in Dallas and OKC happens to be the number one seed yet it’s the Forgotten series I I’m going to go conservative here uh and really my prop play is stronger than my game play but I’m going to go under I do like the under 211 it’s been 3 and one under this series uh this number has come down a little bit but mad strong under plays you know 45 and 22 under uh including 18 and seven their last 25 games okay see nine and five under their last 14 at home um this is a pivotal game five right series tie 22 so you you know You’ think that they would take the the possessions a little more seriously so I like the under and then I really love over five and half assist Kyrie Irving little juice minus 140 but for whatever reason he’s not scoring in this series Joe but he is dishing the ball last three games nine assists seven assists 11 assists so I you want to give me five and a half with a guy who was been averaging nine assists his last three games you know I’ll lay the extra juice on that absolutely and that’s actually down from six and a half that it was in game number four and and yet he you know went over that and they lowered it so love the over five and a half assists for Kyrie Irving I’m with you he he’s even though he hasn’t had the points he’s been the facilitator which is just important for this Dallas team to make sure that everyone else gets involved so that should be a fantastic uh second half of this game but 46 43 right now five minutes ago before the break eight and a halfs and look at the total here too Scotty in this Cavs game 218 and half right now in game it closed at what 205 yeah 206 maybe it went when do we hmer the other way yeah I I you know it’s we’ve you know it’s amazing Joe the boys in Vegas they just never get this right we said this a thousand times when these star players are out scoring does not go down it goes up the bench guys can score we we’re seeing that now again they can’t play any defense so the other team continues to score but they can Mooby has got eight and of course Max stru is finally hitting some shots he’s got nine to Pace the Cavs Derek white leading all scorers for the Celtics by the way 15 points is what we have there the Lakers uh we are learning here have secured permission uh on a head coaching search here several assistant uh and head coaches and uh such uh with uh New Orleans Denver Boston Sam Cassell Minnesota so the the net is wide that the Lakers are going to throw out here to find their next scapegoat uh it’ll be interesting to see where that head coaching search eventually lands but uh is I’m sure LeBron that one strowman taking on Lopez so as you can tell we’ve got still plenty of action all night including the Cubs and Braves and the Cubs will not be shut out tonight they in fact have already scored three runs on Charlie Morton it is a three nothing Cubs lead here in the bottom of the second inning the Cubs have not scored a run against the Braves yet in this series that ended rather quickly here in the early part against Charlie Morton there you do have also the Dodgers and the Giants coming up uh tonight late night that’ll be your late game Dodgers with a bullpen game Logan web on the mound for the Giants you can still get the Dodgers at a really good price if you think it doesn’t make a difference who’s on a mound for the Giants or who’s pitching for the Dodgers since the Giants don’t really have an awful lot of success at the plate against anybody but there is an opportunity a little bit late night with that game Dodgers and the Giants and don’t forget NHL playoff hockey coming up here tonight where the Colorado Avalanche with their season hanging in the balance have got to go on the road and win one to get it back to Colorado for a game six they’re down three games to one can they go on the road and win tonight that is the big question they’re are plus money it’s a lot of Firepower on the Colorado team can they put it together and beat AER here tonight and get it done and
