[Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] right guys you asked for it here it is 2024 golf supplier Ashley updated what’s in the bag cuz there has been a ton of changes recently as well in the last couple of weeks we’re over at foron Park at their beautiful range I’m going to take you through from putter wedges irons utility Iron 5 lofted down to a forward and my drivers of choice along with the most ridiculous golf bag you will ever see in your living days on planet Earth but before we get into all of that let’s start off with the putter of choice so for me I am currently gaming the Ping pldd 34 in this was custom fit over at UK Golf Academy it is a answer style putter it’s an answer 2 what that means basically is it’s the blade it’s the traditional version Look I’ve got I think it’s called the bottle neck on this but yeah 34 in all black absolutely everything on the back I only have the sight line uh on the the sort of Blade the back shallow blade of it I don’t have any dot or anything like that we found in my fitting that I actually align better with no alignment Aid on the top but this is the thing that gets swapped out of my bag all the time currently at home I’ve got a plld a labes Max a tulon Vegas a even roll and I might be missing one but at the moment the current gamer in the bag is the Ping aner PL too but I’ve really got my eyes on the Odyssey Jailbird Cruiser so if anyone can get their hands on an Odyssey Jailbird Cruiser for me 38 in one the one with the big grip that is what I really want to be gaming in the pter section of my bag at the minute but for now we’re on the pl let’s move to the wedges I have gone for the titless sm10 In The Raw finish now myself and wesy were lucky enough to go down to St Ives in Cambridge titless fitting Center where Savage and all of the team looked after us and fit us into the sm10 so a quick spec breakdown for you I’ve got a 60° um which has all the custom VY on it it says no ratters which actually in my game I’ve actually got rid of the RS I’m not really not the the ratman anymore but 60° 12 de of Bounce in a DG grind I then move into a 54 Dee wedge which is stamped up with my L’s Bells with some love hearts that is also a 12 deg D grind we then move into the 50° that is a 12° of Bounce in an F grind that has got stamped up just the GS sort of I think they call it the dancing so where the the letter sort of like bounce all over the place that is my 50° and then finally I use a specialty pitching wedge an sm10 pitching wedge so 46° and that is in 10° of Bounce and in an F grind so what you usually find when you go for your wedge fittings most people will have more bounce in their higher lofted clubs so 60 and 54 just because you’re using them for more versatile shots so you want a little bit more bounce prevent the Leading Edge from digging into the floor and then the grind is just really up to how you deliver the golf club and then you’ll move usually into less bounce and a slightly different grind usually F grind in the in the SM 10s or in the SM range the vogi range because they’re more aimed at full shots but let’s dive into the newest edition in my golf bag and that is the irons but I’m on a bit of a quest this year in my golf bag and I’m sort of not compromising looks that’s the the wrong term for it because I do I do prefer looking down on the shape of a blade a less intrusive iron but mauno recently come out with their new 245s and we were lucky enough to go down to Bearwood Lakes to get fit for these so I’ve gone for a full set of four down to 9on in the mauno 24 five irons now these have been fit with KBS money shaft SE tapers in 130 G and Joe was kind enough Joe’s the guy who works on the Muno tour truck Joe was kind enough to actually put the Black Edition Shar in these so as far as looks go with a golf club these are absolutely ridiculous I mean I don’t think you get much better and what I like about these is at a dress and behind the ball they don’t look like hollowe headed construction irons whereas when you use like tailor May p790s or some of the other options on the market they look like a real big game improvement head where these they’re actually quite a compact looking iron now they obviously got a little bit of a thicker line on top than what you would have in the t100’s or uh an mcon or something like that but as far as forgiveness goes and off-centered hit these are so well performing compared to other irons that I’ve hit they’re an absolute piss take what is a piss take is the driving iron I’ve got in my bag at the minute this thing is arguably one of the best clubs I’ve ever used and what I am talking about is the titless u505 driving out iron now I’ve got this in a free iron my only criticism of this club is how Chrome it is the whole club is the most Chrome you’ll ever see there’s no mat on it everything K is completely and it’s just from a reflection basis you’re not going to have any problems in the winter in the summer sometimes when you’re standing over the ball and you’ve got the sun beaming down in a certain certain direction this thing shines like seriously shines in this I have the tour ad uh graphite design extra stiff Iz 95 hybrid shaft comboed with this head genuinely it’s high launch it’s low spin it’s super forgiving it’s on the chunky side you can see from the sole like it’s definitely not a it’s definitely not a small profile head and even the Top Line you’ve got you’ve got a lot of Club head down there but it comes off like an absolute rocket you can tow it you can heal it um this has been an absolute game changer for me and just getting it off the off the te and still getting out there at about 235 240 consistently usually with a driving L You’ only really want to hit it off of a tee with this the profile with the way it sits I’m not too sure why it sits really low to the floor so even when you’re hitting it off off the deck it still sits and it looks easy enough to hit not off of a te I’ve always really steered away from hitting driving isons apart from when I’m on the tea box with this I feel like I can hit anywhere out of the rough out of the Fairway off the floor off of a tea it’s really really good one more Great Golf Club really good then we move into something I’ve actually never had in my golf bag ever that is underneath the beautiful Royal door knock head cover and I’ll let you a little secret I’ll let you in a little secret on this head cover I went over to Raw door knock played it with manners they had like a campaign shoot over there I went into the pro shop and and I really really wanted like a Tweed style old school head cover went to the till £45 don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful it’s the it’s the local Scottish Tweed in the door knock area the guy was like selling it to me behind the T like no don’t worry like it’s like it’s the it’s our local Tweed and this and that and so he knew it was like overpriced what it was I thought it was going to be around about 780 GD I’d been happy to pay for it £45 so this you better believe this is going to stale my Woods for the rest of my golfing life but underneath this we have the mauno St Zed fivewood dropped down in Loft from 18° to 16.5 so it is playing as a forward now story behind this one as you can see from my wedges I’ve got no ratters on there I do not like seeing any golf club sit Towing at a dress it kills me if anything sits Towing I feel like I’m going to hit it off the planet left what the stz range does with the mauno line is it’s more of a fade bias driver so at a dress the club face will sit a little bit more to what my eye would be open it promotes more of a left to right bias shot um I got a Ventus blue 7x shaft in this set to stat we set to low to bring it down but what’s nice about this is and the reason I’ve went into a fourwood not a fivewood or a three-wood one for the gaping I’ll hit this about 250 in the air 255 but two it is for the launch it’s to get the ball up in the air and this is what this Ventus blue shaft helps me do it helps me launch it I can hit this into greens where as I’ve always found with my free Woods or my Fairway Woods in the past they’re great off of the but if I’m trying to hit them into the greens they come in way too low and they’re never going to stop with this forward I can feel like I can hit it into orbit this has been arguably it’s been in the bag for a couple weeks now it’s been one of my favorite clubs to use so far um and it’s around about that 250 carry number which is just [Music] perfect then we move into the top end of the bag which I think a lot of people were interested in seeing now as it currently stands at the moment obviously if I go to play I’ve got 15 clubs in my bag for this purpose but if I go to play there’s always a decision to make on the driver side now recently got fit for mauno stz same as the forward for the same reasons more of a fade bias driver less curvature on the golf ball and if you’ve watched our Bearwood Lakes video I hit the driver really well how this sits at a dress suits me down to a te sha wise in this we have the Ventus TR 6X shaft beautiful looking shaft two-tone Red velor version as well so two-tone red at the top black at the bottom profile on this if you’re interested in maybe just buying a new shaft for your current driver the Ventus TR red is a stiff mid to butt section but it’s got a soft tip don’t be dirty basically to help with launch so I’ve got this set at 10 and A2 deg standard nothing changes on this but in contention to this driver underneath my beautiful sun andell head cover and just for comparison Sun andell Number Two golf course in the UK I’ll quickly pause the video and take a guess how much do you think I pay for this head cover in comparon to doru head cover 5 4 3 2 1 sunale was in the sell at 55 for a driver head cover and I think that’s fantastic value for money it’s a lever head cover rather than a a Tweed head cover you’ve got the Sun and down logo on the top you’ve got sun and written in the side and I got it in this really nice like military green color but underneath that is of course the Ping g430 Max now this is obviously fit with a I think they’re called Cali Cali 60x MIT aishy shaft uh 10.5° set on standard the weight track at the back obviously more biased towards fade just to keep that face a little bit open I prefer the I prefer the ease of hitting the Ping but I prefer how the head sits on the mauno so I’m really up in the air at the moment with regards to what one’s going to stay in the bag for the full season malbon pencil bag all lever malbon logo down the side this is probably this is I’ve got some of the M Das bogy boy bags but this is probably my favorite golf bag I’ve ever seen and I managed to get it thankfully from the guys over at Club 72 if you don’t know who they are they’re like a boutique shop they get they get a lot of stuff from the Japan Market Tokyo all that sort of stuff and bring it back to the UK and they done me an absolute steal of a price on this I won’t tell you what but is all black leather malbon on the side and then you have the infamous malbon face on the back um which is like the long pocket down the side easily fits 14 clubs even clubs in the bag along with my Scots sticks alignment stick and com in nice and close Jake they actually burnt in at the top the GS logo onto the alignment stick which I thought was absolutely dope so shout out Scott sticks if you’re interested in getting some custom alignment sticks they do that bushnel tour V6 um shift so this has the slope adjustment on it obviously you can’t use it in tournaments but it has the slope adjustment this was gifted to me from bushnel so shout out to those guys I wouldn’t really use any other Rangefinder other than bushnel and then finally we have my nice Genesis Scottish proom competitor attendee hopefully we get to do that again this year and I’m using the titless prov1 in my bag I got a ball fit in it was that between between that and an AVX and a prov1 and I ended up in prov1 so subscribe to the channel hope you’ve enjoyed the watchs in the bag with a golf supply you’re a bunch of Legends I’m going to go play some golf now I love you all come come call us JK come closer bye everyone what’s in the bag 2024 it’s all there see you later
