I don’t know where to start in terms it seems like everything’s does it feel that way uh yeah a little bit I feel like um you know still hit some not so great shots over the last two days but yeah for the most part um hitting it pretty solid and and keeping it in the right areas and you know made it relatively easy on myself never really felt like I had to scramble or anything like that looks really solid it was solid begin year what about this particular particular on or just P yeah I mean the greens are are very pure uh we were talking about how well the the greens held up yesterday afternoon um even with the rain in the morning they’re really nice and um yeah I mean early on the year felt like I was putting well and then for the last month or so stroke felt the same and ball just wasn’t going in the hole um so just put a little bit more of a premium the last couple weeks on green reading and um yeah it’s nice to see a few more go in I think all of us are getting to know your game a little bit I’m such a great ADM of the off like a SL for aitch the way you’re able to slow downed something you had to Dev or it always something you had feel have being able to yeah I always I I used to just kind of Go Fast and faster and that was my only two speeds um and then I just kind of realized um you know playing on some softer greens and playing um in softer conditions in Canada learning how to control contr um shots into greens and just getting not to rip back basically so it kind of started with that and then um just realized that sometimes we hit those shots I have better control of start lines and shape so um yeah it’s just kind of like a go-to shot for me and if it allows me to hit it I do strategy for the weekend just keep going at yeah keep doing the same I mean scores are going to be low you know the course is pure and unless uh unless the wind really starts blowing numbers are going to keep keep going up so um yeah just got to keep the pedal down and keep trying to make birdies I appreciate it thank you uh Jake just how would you is there comparisons to this course and Mexico where obviously you won uh a little bit I mean Mexico Mexico the fairways I feel like are cut a lot wider I mean this place is wide from like trouble to trouble but t- shots like like number nine um number five um I mean there’s still just some t- shots that you just have to kind of avoid some things and and hit good good shots to give yourself a chance to go to the green for two so um it’s definitely a little bit more you want to be in the Fairway especially with the rough the way it is it’s easy to catch Flyers as it gets dried out so um just been trying to put it in the Fairway as much as I can had that hot stretch from Tori through cognizant didn’t quite keep it up the last couple starts anything differentiating kind of those two periods of golf yeah I mean I think I I think I just got a little tired uh I think mentally it was just a lot going on and you know I wouldn’t didn’t say necessarily life changing just everything got a lot busier and days got longer so it was just a bit of an adjustment and uh didn’t feel like I had the the same energy throughout the day kind of in some of those weeks which was kind of a bummer so um decided to take last week off and give myself a good reset at home and work on some things I’d been struggling with and you know feel like it’s it’s working out this week so far Jake the only blemish on the carard today was at three how important was it to come back at four and get a pretty good long birdie Putt and yeah um you know obviously a putt you know not necessarily trying to make but uh but yeah I felt like hit a good iron shot and Putt didn’t have a ton of movement on it and um I hit it a little bit harder than I would have liked and luckily was on a good line and went in obviously a lot of people are getting familiar with your story a couple years ago you were you know I guess you were working in a bar you were doing other stuff trying to get back what does it mean to look back two years to now to have a win on tour and now be here leading a tournament Midway to another one a couple weeks later yeah it’s just um you know even when I was doing any of that kind of stuff I always knew this is what I wanted to do and and kind of felt like it’s where I should be and just wasn’t wasn’t there yet and uh just kept working away and sticking at it and had a good year last year and just letting that keep on keep on going you know you look at your profile and they talk about the Rubik’s Cube and all that so you got a lot of interesting things going on around yeah there’s a few few interesting ones about me but uh you know I I do my best uh you know I’m kind of a golf only guy just play a lot of golf and practice a lot and that’s just uh that’s been my focus for the last four or five years saying the the win at Mexico what does that do for you when you’re sitting here in this position going into a weekend yeah I mean feel comfortable you know I mean I’ve been there before and uh you know even Farmers just kind of around the lead and obviously cognizant was around the lead there so um you know courses like this where scores are going to be low you don’t really worry too much about what other guys are doing you try to make a bunch of birdies and um you know it’s a it’s a course that fits me well so if I just keep doing the things I’m doing I’ll I’ll be in a good spot appreciate it PR
