set stay in the air Terry within about 5 feet yesterday Josh carry two green a little firmer because they’ve been reworked a little too careful that’s the first really timid P we’ve seen and hit in a day and a half in yesterday all the greens been resurfaced I was going to ask you how big of an adjustment you see them trying to adjust to that and read greens here yeah to be honest I think it’s they make it a bigger deal in what it is because you know every put’s different anyway you got to trust your read the surfaces are Immaculate so it as he knocks in for a great but if it’s in your mind as a player who’s played here several times that this putt does this yeah but but I I’m still not going to buy that c what about you slightly disagree only because there’s no grain in these greens yet in the past when the grain was in these greens that would give them an indication of some of the break oh look at this weight a bit unlucky to come up a little short that was better than that Nick Taylor just over the back of the green and 11 this is pretty straightforward from here pretty flat maybe even slightly uphill there you go take care of it Nick Taylor not as dramatic as the putty made in the playoff to win the RBC Canadian open last year but how about that scorecard four in a row now for Nick Taylor good read good stroke tack on another [Applause] one massive swing to get that out but it’s turning a little left of this hole oh it’s going to turn out just fine what a shot out of that heavy rough there’s some slope this is going to get better as well you just can’t do much better than that you can’t overstate how good that was you have to be so strong to dig it out of that lie and do that right there back at eight spe bumping it into the [Applause] hill sometimes when you make him get creative that brings out the best inning actually not sometimes most of the time driving it much lower than Max o little checky that is special Kurt that is he played that with a square face didn’t try to open it up and lob it up there played it had a good lie was able to get to the back of the ball cleanly read it like a putt and hit it very well this is Jason day at the 10th hole greenside bunker yesterday oh did he hold it again yesterday he came up short left the pin obviously in a different position and he hold it this also coming out very high on a much better line Looks like good distance too yeah he sure landed it right where you were talking about Johnson got the big hop distance control was spot on czander at the 10th kind of a wet lie down here got to get really good contact here and then let it run out there’s the downhill to the pin and that is how you do it he’s got it he’s got it all working right now I was just going to say there just isn’t a hole in his game right now you just can’t point to anything that he’s not doing well taking off very similar to the line of Tom Kims going to get the bounce the distance control another good shot boyom really has turned it around this is Jason day at 11 over the green count it Jason day piece of cake for him had a couple hole outs now from off the green we saw Xander his pitch shot to here this for birdie no problem just keeps doing his thing out there just quality golf shots good up and downs I think he’s taking dead aim at it no you’re right just left that’s a great job Johnson just have to be so measured out here today Frank with the firmness of the greens to 12 Jason day in the Fairway good drive down the left side hle is also cut on a top shelf on the left side oh [Applause] hello that to get it to seven under easily the best shot we’ve seen here Terry starts off on an aggressive line trying to cut over there to it needs to get up a hair I think Kurt there just does hop out of that swell that’s good t- perfect to 12 Patrick Klay lengthy one here to get it the red figures make a slow up the hill had enough though number eight player in the world bounce back birdie they get it to one under remember that shot in here from Jason day a little more than a tap in to get it to 700 you sort of P should be just let pick up you that’s good yeah I’ll go with that unless it’s to win or something yeah up play pretty good run he’s got how about this since the seventh hole I know the bogey at nine but look at this Jason day tapped in at 13 and we’re live here with our leader Xander scha this is a nine iron and this is a nasty whole location aggressive why wouldn’t you be what a shot so much confidence right now took that whole location on no problem who is this Cur that’s uh Sam Burns back there he’s a new Dead He’s also the best t- shot of the day at the eighth hole it’ll make his new son happy yes it [Applause] will yeah that’s an eagle for Sam burns after that incredible t- shot mroy second shot here at the eighth as firm as it is Kurt I think he’s got to land this just short of the green he did look at this oh kind of like that Kur really well done wasn’t it landed it exactly on his spot saw Jason Day come up just short of this par five and two great lie not much hinge yeah one bounce with some spin there speaking of Jason day here he is for birdie to try to get seven under and does so day continues his good play nice bounce back up to the bogey at 14 Homan now got a little bit of room but the first part of the greens running away from him back into the wind to touch but he’s going to have to put a lot of speed on this if he wants to put any spin on it oh and he [Music] has it’s as good a bunker shot as we’ve seen today just went ahead and took that down slope right out of play Frank this is the defending champ Windam Clark at 17 trying to use that wind bring it towards the flag really well done that’s one of the best t- shots we’ve seen here in the past especially the past hour when that wind kicked up
