series I bet the Bruins to win in six and win in seven because we’re a Godless [ __ ] franchise and we constantly choke away um good chances but I panicked today with the new goalie and uh Matthew’s being out and uh yeah still didn’t matter we still choked it away s stood on his head it was some of the sloppiest hockey I’ve seen in I can’t even tell you how long it was a goddamn joke it was like PB hockey out there very stressful uh listen Toronto is a bunch of goddamn losers but I mean as a Bruins fan I mean I’m throwing [ __ ] it I I shouldn’t be throwing stones SP that way [ __ ] [ __ ] all right so you’re going to the tournament so were you excited you going on Thursday yeah man I’m super excited um I’m I wasn’t planning on going to the Byron this year I’m definitely gonna go to the Charles schab uh at Colonial since they just renovated it uh this year so definitely gonna make a bigger deal out of going to that one but it’s only like 75 bucks so I know yeah to get into the Byron um and then but you I can take my I’m gonna take my kids to the that’s free right I’m gonna take my yeah I’m gonna take my kids to Colonial they get him free so it’s gonna be fun um but yeah definitely still excited to go I’ve never been to a golf tournament on Thursday I’ve only been on Sunday and this might be a hot take but golf when you H when you’re like sweating and outright on Sunday it sucks and you have no service and like you can’t see what’s happening around the course like that’s not how you that’s not how I like to watch it so no I had a chance to I had a chance to go back on Monday when cam was finishing up that Monday players I was like absolutely not I’m staying at the house I like I am not [ __ ] going to that tournament I I will watching at the house yeah my first my first golf tournament was the Byron I think two years ago and Ryan Palmer had like a like eight-footer for birdie and um these drunk ouu Frat Boys that were sitting in front of me like screamed in his back swing and I almost like dumped my drink on their [ __ ] head be because he literally like it was loud like he looked up at them and yeah yeah I don’t know he and then oh and this was around the time that Liv was happening so he’s like we’re changing golf like we’re make it loud and I’m like shut the [ __ ] up dude yeah it’s fun it’s funny that the amount of Meatheads that [ __ ] come out to golf tournament I’m always [ __ ] surprised like it’s like why are you here like you I like why are you I’ll hear him talking about like gambling they be talking about like their five nine leg [ __ ] three ball Pall and I’m like oh yeah [ __ ] great yeah I mean it’s different when you’re like rooting on a guy but like if you’re like you know being obnoxious yelling in back swings and stuff like that it’s another story like the guy the guy that had dude there was a guy not too long ago that was you could tell like he had some serious money on this guy first round leader and I don’t I don’t remember who it was but you could like hear him every hole when he made a putt he was like screaming in the background that’s awesome that like the guy fing around AE uh the other week you could tell he had outright on him he was [ __ ] pumped up screaming his ass off every time he made something was hilarious um yeah never I’ll never forget that that Byron because uh I had walking nean top 20 and this was after KH Lee already made the putt to win and he was playing with him and he like was on the green and he had to putt after so everyone followed cage Lee off and I’m just sitting there like everyone’s leaving I’m sitting there like sweating this like 10f footer per car and he misses it and I’m just and I just fall to the ground [Laughter] love that [ __ ] yeah that was like like I said I think I said it when we did the recap of the M it was [ __ ] great when uh when JT [ __ ] up 18 and that that number came down for the cutline and everybody was staring at it and it came up in a chain everybody cheered I was like [ __ ] yeah let’s go these are my people these are my people who giveit about cutline let’s go um all right so uh we were talking offline uh about the weather I haven’t paid any attention to it uh but before you tell me what the hell’s going on the weather listen it’s the playoffs uh we just saw the Bruins uh choke away a home game per [ __ ] usual uh but the NBA and the hockey game on podcast got episodes for you to get locked in on all the action uh plus it’s Derby week baby we can all pretend we know we’re talking about with horses uh instead just go listen to the uh uh The Wolf of oaklan and the boys uh talk about it and uh just tail their pics that’s what I do every year because I’m not stupid enough to pretend I know anything about horse racing uh so let get you guys ready for the most exciting two minutes in sports all right talk to me about the weather all right so weather weather report all right first thing you have to understand about Texas weather um it doesn’t make any sense and it’s wrong 90% of the time um sounds like it sounds like everywhere else then yeah that’s that’s a good point uh we need to hold these weathermen accountable for their their terrible what an easy job that’s what that’s what we all should have went into we all should have just been meteorologist like pretended to do good at s class be good on camera and just pick wrong I mean that’s basically what I do now so might as well just been a [ __ ] meteorologist yeah exactly like it’s like trading stocks except you’re not held accountable for anything you’re not held accountable for losses um so it looks like rain in the morning and we got in Dallas Fort Worth especially where I live in southern Dallas it’s we got about a foot of rain last like over this weekend Jesus [ __ ] 12 inches of yes I’m not even exaggerating like roads were shut down because of flooding like we got a ton of rain and the rain here this morning it I mean Thursday morning it looks like it’s going to be mainly before the tournament starts but I mean still like in the morning there’s a 50% chance but one thing I do remember about we went on Saturday last year to the Byron and they were predicting rain so we brought like umbrellas like rain coats and it was sunny and like 90 degrees the whole day so we got to take this with the grain of salt but I think there is a good chance we see some rain like early in the morning on Thursday so these greens are going to be really receptive and I think we’re on 59 watch like if someone gets hot Christ I heard that was a terrible [ __ ] shape though yeah yeah so I don’t know if there’s any truth to that um I feel like Jeff would have said something like I listen to him in BK last night did he not say anything no I I didn’t I mean I’ve just I just follow him on Twitter so I I haven’t I didn’t listen to tapping berdie but um I feel like he would have tweeted something out about it because he played there like last week he plays there all the [ __ ] time yeah yeah he and I’m I’m gonna be pissed if he doesn’t get me in the suite this year we like met up and like we were at the Suites and he’s like hey I tried to get you in but we’re did you talk have you already talked to him about it yeah I already did I’m like look I got the first round leader and I’ll give it to you but only if I’m in the such an [ __ ] like I know who it is but I’m not gonna give it to you unless you uh get me in the suite f um all right so but like looks like yeah so I listen I don’t give a I’m not care I don’t care about Friday Saturday Sunday yet like that’s too far out like I feel like Texas probably like Florida in the summertime it’s GNA thunderstorm at some point there in the day who cares it’s an hour everybody stays inside and then we’re good to go yeah I think I think we’re good to go um but I am excited uh I am G to bring an umbrella because even if it doesn’t rain it’s still good for uh the Sun so the Texas sun in in May so you [ __ ] seriously you walk around with an umbrella to keep the sun off you yeah man um well not probably not right now because I’ve been I’ve been walking a lot of golf recently oh and I wanted I I finally got so I play golf by myself a lot no one cares about your 85 no one cares no no when I’m on the road when I’m on the road I play golf by myself and usually I get like I get paired with pretty cool people or like I asked to join up with some some guys or whatever uh but it I still I have never got one of these guys until yesterday I got the guy that wants to like fix your swing you’ve never got that before that’s the worst no dude and just like a random dude I understand if it’s like one of your buddies that you play with all the time and you you like you know your yeah but this guy was like here let me let me show you this tip on U on a putter grip because I think i’ like just like I like hit a green on in R and on a part three and then you know was you know 40 feet out and three puted and he was like let me show you this uh let me show the putter grip and then we joined up with two more guys late a whole later and he showed it to them as well and I was like oh my god when I when I play alone I make sure I have my [ __ ] earbuds in I’m like in my own cart I’ll decide if I want to like they’ll always try to talk to you and like some people man I just I’m just like I’m good I’ll just I’ll seem like the stand offish [ __ ] I don’t care like I was L my tunes and [ __ ] play I’m normally like that like I’m I’m more introverted like I refresh like by myself you’re not introverted you’re a sales guy just like I am but you talk for a living and the last thing you want to do is have to [ __ ] be on on when you’re trying to get time alone yeah but I don’t I don’t recover like my wife is extroverted like she recovers by going out with her friends I recover by like sitting in my room and like playing video games or going by myself and playing golf like yeah I’ve met some I met some cool people and like I still like keep up with some of them just random you know random I go out text I I got I got a couple weirdos like that that I talk to as well yeah yeah so uh I think it’s pretty cool to to meet up and play golf with people because a lot of times I don’t I I don’t even talk I’m focused on golf man like I want to shoot I want to go low so I don’t even talk a lot with them um we just you know shoot the [ __ ] but all right let’s get to let’s get to um let’s get to our bets I think we decided we were going to do it a little bit differently normally we go down the odds board um I’m not going to be able to fill in for Steve like I and and luckily like this course you don’t really have to it’s the same hole every single time over and over and over again super boring bird Fest [ __ ] blah blah blah blah no one likes this course [ __ ] 25 under yada Yad y yeah I will say that whole um whole 15 is like a par through over water it’s just a gorgeous hole if you like just get if you just sit at it it’s it’s a nice hole um and then I like 14 the driveable par 4 I just remember I’m like all right like this is driveable part 4 and cam champ gets up there and pulls like three wood I’m like oh my gosh this guy is that is that where your [ __ ] money pit started with [ __ ] scam champ no no I I like uh I like him because he’s an Aggie and at the time like he was the only on tour besides Ryan Palmer and Ryan Palmer was kind of you know past my time but Cameron and I actually went to together you act like 60 he’s like [ __ ] 38 if that I don’t even think he’s that old well you know I mean yeah but when he was when he was in his 20s I was like 10 or I was like math work so um but yeah we went to A&M together so that’s why I like him but we can start [ __ ] ran 47 Jesus Christ he’s [ __ ] old than I am by a lot yeah yeah he’s pretty old but he played well last week yeah he plays good in Texas [ __ Ganon in the same room but if Matt was like five years older he they 90% less tattoos yeah and 90% less tattoos and uh didn’t come over the top in his golf swing he could be Tommy Deets dude and I’ve I think minus 120 over Maverick Maverick McNeely who’s just been playing like ass and uh so I bet that MC’s got those M McNeil’s got those magic beans man and but I mean his course history is is just as uh bad as as his here so or as so I I like that um I like that for one of my matchups uh but did you have anyone else in like the 40s no I just I mean so the the next closest one I have is I got I got him an 80 to one I took Sheamus power I’ve bet him all [ __ ] year um he’s got four top 20s here uh he’s in good form he’s catch a couple long shot Zack Johnson [ __ ] you dirt um the uh yeah look he’s he’s he’s playing really well this year he’s catch a five to one four to one top 24 I mean four top 20s here he’s one on the PJ tour seems like he’s coming back a little bit his weakness is definitely off the te which I don’t think [ __ ] matters here um so yeah I uh I love jamus P I’ve been betting him I hate the fact that all of a sudden he’s popular I’ve been betting him all year at ] golf course and [ __ ] Sheamus going to get into a [ __ ] R 250 to one there so I’m so this is the most this is the most tip chart and uh I don’t I don’t really think this has anything to do with how golfers actually play because we see Community wins all the time but like Peter Quest what like why why are people tipping Peter Quest he he doesn’t even have his tour card yeah I mean so here let me pull it up I think he pops in people’s models yeah he definitely does um but like his around the green birdie I don’t care about around the green so 200 plus he’s good birdies are better he’s he’s good um I he’s 29th in my half Hazard model um yeah I mean [ __ ] ninth and corales 10th in Valero 13th in RSM look I know it’s the RSM shouldn’t count but I mean look [ __ ] I don’t know it is what it is right yeah I mean bet Jak I bet Jake knp at 80 um if I’m GNA bet him at 40 when he won like I’m gonna bet him at 80 in this field um and but yeah Sheamus is on here Adam Shanks on here um so C so I guess with with C right so um Joe made a good point when I was talking to him last night like these coin fairy guys go out here and play these tournaments where it’s a birdie Fest and it’s just win or Nothing Like It doesn’t [ __ ] matter so they have the mindset where they can shoot at the pin and I kind of like that yeah that makes sense that made a lot of sense to me um as far as like why guys like this can win um but yeah I hate seeing Sheamus like literally I was [ __ ] betting him at 250 to one no nobody nobody was [ __ ] talking about him at all now he’s [ __ ] most tipped yeah yeah um and then uh Sam Stevens you’re Sam Stevens guy right yeah sometimes sometimes sometimes uh 90 to one and he is sick in Texas like is he oh yeah he he’s I think he’s Matt said that he’s gained like I think he’s like top five in Strokes gained in just Texas events and just always plays well T14 at Valero um and t-57 in Houston but he evidently he plays very well in most with OSU he went and he went to Oklahoma State shout out Oklahoma um ande he’s made like $3 million since last year wild I know right like I’m I want to ask Carson about that because like when we first met him it was like he made like I think all together like 20 grand and then after the Byron Nelson when I willed him with my own two hands to a 62 to get a top 20 he won like 160 grand and I’m like that’s got to be cool like for these kids you know [ __ ] yes of course what do you mean I don’t know just F dude [ __ ] Carson’s won over $2 million 48 of two million bucks yeah if you get that if you get that one win like you just said like I really like that angle actually like they if they win they get their tour card for how how long yeah but it’s not even that so they just used to they used to playing these tournaments on the cor fairy tour where they’re not trying to stack yeah they just they’re they’re trying they have to go out and win right so they’re super aggressive and go after the pins yeah and then if you win on tour you like if you win an event like and then you get to keep it much longer right is that how it works y yep absolutely all right who else you got you got anybody else under 100 then Matt Matt replied like immediately like right after the event ended was like and was like so does it really matter so yeah look it’s it’s it doesn’t matter right but it definitely gives you a little more information but it’s a first round [ __ ] leader it’s not like you there only so much that can that can work here right like how how close they in the first round how many times they come into it [ __ ] times you you follow the first round leader Twitter account right yeah he puts together like all the first round uh like scor I us I used to do that [ __ ] on my own until he existed like uh they match up yeah I just I just like I I think I like matchups more than placements for for some reason like just the the head-to-head nature of it is is more like picking a football game I guess yeah so I used to I used to too but I’m telling you man over the last like year and a half like they have gotten a lot sh like I used to crush the [ __ ] matchup Mark like that was like I would never do plays i’ be like Steve I’m not doing any placements all I’m doing is matchups yeah and I have almost completely [ __ ] switched like I do way more placements than I do matchups huh I mean we asked so I we asked um Jeff Benson about that I that was one of the questions that you asked him yeah and he didn’t really looking back on it he didn’t really give you a good answer no like it’s like they’re trying to keep their like techniques a secret but I bet you the these guys are like super nerds back there like that he’s got wait the guys the guys setting [ __ ] lines yes of course they’re
