good Alex all right guys nice playing today a 60 Zack if we can get some comments on a tremendous round yeah just kind of rode fish all day you know he played good um started off super hot birdie and on one Eagle two birdie four birdie five um yeah I mean it was pretty pretty textbook out there for him yeah Patrick talk a little bit about what a great day you had on the course well it’s pretty easy to hit shots when Zach’s always in the Fairway he’s always on the green he’s always he’s always available that’s kind of been our our key word for the week and so it’s pretty easy for me to swing free knowing that Zach’s Zach’s always going to be there he’s always he he had some awesome awesome birdies when we needed him and uh we haven’t egged it really good today I know you wanted that birdie there on the last to tie the the record here a little bit of disappointment with that or yeah I mean I don’t think so I think we would have you know signed up for a 60 at the start of the day so uh you know we hit some good shots hit some good and you know we had a good day so yeah talk a little bit about the partnership you guys date back to Junior High just talk a little bit about how the team came about this week to yeah like you said uh been playing golf since we were you know little kids in Ogden Utah so um I had to beg him to be my partner uh Palm Springs I I think it took like four or five weeks for me to get the answer but uh glad I got it done no no that’s not true I was I was a kid on the playground that needed needed a partner need needed a friend and Zach was kind enough to say why don’t you come along with me Pat and we’ll have some no it’s we go back a long ways and we spent a lot of time together and uh it’s cool to be playing well here on the PJ tour in this stage I mean it’s yeah this is pretty pretty special Zach I know not quite the results you’ve wanted of late uh how is this format helping you and how is Pat helping as well with that I mean anytime you get someone that makes you know six or seven or eight birdies in an e it obviously helps so um I think it’s kind of one of those weeks where you’re maybe able to stay a little bit looser um especially having a friend you know as your partner um and I think that’s kind of like really what we’ve tried to do is just you know not take it too seriously and you know we we know tomorrow will be a big day but um it’s a it’s a really cool opportunity for both of us so yeah leader in the clubhouse right now I know that could change later this afternoon but just talk a little bit as we go to the tougher format tomorrow just what your mindset and strategy will be yeah I mean we played solid yesterday so just try and do the same thing and um you know hitting good shots kind of travels doesn’t really matter what format you’re in so just go and try and do that and um have fun and Patrick tomorrow yeah yeah we’ll just just kind of continue how we’ve how we’re doing no reason to no reason to change anything or we’ll just keep having fun and and keeping it loose and uh see what we can do talk a little about the wind conditions today and did they change throughout the day or it pretty steady throughout uh seemed like it was about the same direction but it definitely gustier today than the in the past two days it was I don’t know what it was but it was seemed like it was you know a two two Club win two three Club wi at times it was it played really tricky yeah for sure and just coming into this tournament if you happened to win there are a lot of perks uh you know entrance into the Signature Events the exemptions how much would that mean to you guys to be able to win yeah I mean it’s kind of why you’re out here playing right is is H to have opportunities like this so you know I’ve been out here a handful of years now so I know that they don’t come you know that often um and so we’ll do our best to go kind of take advantage of it how much have you guys changed over the years um just from when you were when you first met as kids to what you are what you are now that’s a great question Patrick is Zach the is he the as you remember yeah yeah Z’s the same fish just keeps hitting it further and further you know you used to hit it he’s still hasn’t missed a fairway since he was a kid he hasn’t broke a tea he hasn’t missed a fairway he’s gotten up and down every single time so yeah things haven’t changed all right all right guys best of luck tomorrow thanks thank you
