me uh tomorrow they’ll do two three tonight 4 through seven tomorrow uh and then uh as you like to say then we really look at how everybody shakes out right after they get through all the pcks and all seven rounds well let me just say let me just say once again for the I think uh what is it about let’s just say 35 years for the 35th straight year I spent not one second watching that stupid draft and I watched NBA playoff games uh the Nickson Sixers is what I was watching and then I saw all these picks one by one coming over my phone it was all just so gripping and exciting and so I mean mindblowing like it’s just the greatest thing that I’ve ever experienced in my life the Euphoria of watching the draft play out listen I don’t care about their drip their mommies their fat mommies their grandmas their uncles their dads their handlers their agents and all their bling and diamonds and Ice I really don’t I care about at the end of the day who did you get yet in the draft and who’s going to make it and who isn’t because not all of them are going to make it and it is what it is I am not watching that over NBA playoff games or Stanley Cup playoff games to save your ass I don’t know anyone that would like are you kidding me I watched that sixer game last night like you’re telling me that draft waiting 15 minutes between picks is better than watching NBA playoff games you’re tripping okay I don’t know what’s wrong with people I really don’t I get it the drafts the greatest thing that’s ever happened on the face of the Earth you can have it I uh I was with you I um obviously watch the Islanders lose I was I watched the Islanders lose uh I was following the draft Along on my phone and I was to checking out the guys of course uh last night here on Sports gr I was checking it with Joey bronze every once in a while uh to see what he had going on but after the Islanders upset me uh I watched a little bit of the end of that violence in the Nick game and then I popped it on because it was getting close to when the bills were supposed to pick right it was like 11:15 I’m like let me see how they uh screw this up and sure enough uh trading their pick to Kansas City that that was like a great night Islanders bills for me Scotty it was pretty good it felt it was 2005 all over again for me so I like watching uh one thing uh with in regards to the draft it’s uh I like watching how many noit alls are wrong about everything I just sit back because I never I go on here all the time say I don’t know anything I don’t know anything I’m not a genius of anything I know nothing but boy do I sit and listen to Geniuses here and everywhere else I mean these are the smartest people I’ve ever been around in my life I have been I have never been I mean it’s like the most studious Geniuses I’ve ever been around in my life and then one by one like trees falling they just butcher everything they say just everything they say is wrong and they never get anything right and at some point don’t you feel like a loser some point when you’re just always wrong doesn’t anybody ever tell you you know maybe you should think twice about opening your big fat mouth listen I already know I’m a loud mouth but you don’t see me making all these grandio oh they’re gonna trade that number three number nine the six is moving up he’s getting oh he’s dropping out of the first round for sure he’ll never make it in the NFL he’s a hack meanwhile every single GM in the league wanted him but not all the experts they know everything I mean I have never you know the worst thing that ever happened to America the word mock that that’s you know mock one I liked mock drafts are the worst thing that ever happened to America I’d rather have syphilis and I’m right everybody’s got a Cousins is a four-year deal that they’re going to get out of in two years they’re never giving him that money here’s a news flash for you he’s around for two years and then your boy penx is taking over if you think he’s going to stand for four years on the sideline you’re imagining things they got cousins for four years and all that money so that they can see if they can get in the playoffs bring a championship to Chicago Scotty us to to get as far into February as I can that’s the that’s the point of playing football um is to win championships it’s the reason why I play and so uh you know you you you get far enough in February of those you tend to you know you tend to break records you tend to be able to you know hit self Milestones but that’s not what I’m you know necessarily plan for you can tell they’re one to win uh from all the way up top to the executives all the way down to you know uh the equipment staff that get us all geared up for game and things like that they all want to win um and that’s exciting to go into and then also you know that you know you know the fans are are ready and Rowdy um and I can’t wait for that that’s something that I’m excited for I’m didn’t have 21 tackles he have 21 games played tackles have 21 hand letters I mean I don’t listen to any rookie tell me anything about the NFL let me tell you something that trust me and you know what the rookies do you know what they’re gonna make him do just so we’re clear you’re gonna carry my bags that’s the NFL hazing policy carry my bags go get my lunch are you going to tell some guy that’s 38 8 years old been playing in the league 12 years uh that’s made $150 million that’s 350 pounds and 6’8 you gonna tell him no I don’t think so okay little you little weasel you little rookie weasel that’s what they are they don’t respect any rookie until they’ve been in the league a couple years trust me you uh I wanted to give you Drake May uh he did not make any grandio predictions although they media tried of course if you get drafted to the Patriots and your quarterback’s who do you have to answer questions about Tom Brady uh well Drake May wasn’t going to take the bait um Tom Brady’s the goat now it’s easy to say that um he’s the best that ever play this game I’m not gonna be Tom Brady um so I’m just GNA try to be Dr May and there I’m just trying to learn from him um hopefully get to know him a little bit and other than that just try to you know soak it up and be a sponge and try to learn all I can from him and he’s the man in that town ah I heard that he wasn’t even going in the first round all day here yesterday that’s what I heard he’s not even going to be in the NFL that’s what I heard uh number three to the pads number three number three to the pads he’s so awful he’s what a little was a little bit of a surprise but the first was so surprising about that that was Auto I just think because uh because the odds had you know if you followed the odds board uh they never really had him uh up there uh going to the Chargers they didn’t have a visit with him they didn’t do that that’s because Harbaugh works in the shadows Scotty that’s why they didn’t have a visit with him I heard one quote that he would take the kid from Notre Dame over all the others if it boiled down to it because you know they love those kids that play at Notre Dame you know they listen to Prest stuff which we talked about the Falcons taking him at eight only a few weeks after giving Kirk Cousins a hundred million here is Falcons general manager Terry fontanot uh talking about making this move very excited about today about the outcome uh of today uh being able to add uh Michael pennick junr um when you can add a high caliber player like that um with his intangibles um those tools um he’s a winner um very very excited you don’t pass up that opportunity um and uh Kirk Cousins is our quarterback we’re very excited about Kirk very excited about this team um and Michael penck is we’re talking about the future the draft is um you look at the future and you look at big picture um but we are very excited about that quarterback room um and and again Kirk is our quarterback but adding Michael pennick is thinking about the future yeah I actually uh think it’s a really smart play on their part to be honest with you because um I I think Kurt Cousins can definitely sling it I think he uh puts up gigantic numbers uh he is proven that he’s made a ton of money I mean an absolute bankroll like unequaled by his peers the guy’s made more money than like you know 95% of the NFL like this guy has made more money than God playing what and he never wins anything that’s amazing to me the money he makes for what the outcome stats are one thing stats are great I I want rings I want championships and he never wins them here’s the deal I truly believe that that is a smart play for the future it’s no different than love I don’t have an issue with it at all I think uh this guy pinnick is awesome uh he is incredible at getting rid of the ball he’s on point on target he’s got a cannon for an arm his release is sick the guy throws the ball as fast as any quarterback I’ve seen just in trouble boom he gets rid of it that’s the key to being a successful quarterback in the NFL is how quick can you get rid of the ball they talk about drop two seconds gone that’s what Brady annihilated people with the way he got rid of the ball what is different than Steph Curry than everyone else he shoots the ball quicker than anyone else when it touches his hands he fires when penx drops back he fires I think their future is set I thought Desmond Ritter was awful I think penx is better drunk on his first day with no experience at all in the NFL I still think he’s better than Desmond Ritter without ever taking a snap in the NFL and I think Kurt Cousins is a project uh for the next what what did he get a three or four year deal right with the Falcons for $100 million guarantee whatever it was I am telling you they will put up with him until they won’t put up with him he’ll either win and get them in the playoffs and win or they will get rid of him and it’ll be pennock’s job as sure as I’m sitting here this is no different than love Aaron Rogers got so worked up over do you remember it’s the same thing I don’t care what Kurt Cousins thinks this is a smart move I know they need a defense they can get that in the next two days I have no problem at all with the at all I in fact I have a huge Falcon fan one of my best friends he’s going crazy about it I go this is a great move for the future for them they’re locked in at quarterback now with cousins and penck are you kidding me anything happens to cousins they put penck in and that’ll be that that will be that uh the quarterbacks got rounded out by JJ McCarthy going 10th and Bo Nicks going 12th six quarterbacks in the first 12 picks of the NFL draft uh something that has never happened before uh and the odds say only half of them will be good uh that’s just facts that’s just over the last 20 years it’s like a 46% hit rate quarterbacks in the first round so we’ll see how it goes for all of those guys Vikings also got Dallas Turner Scotty they had two picks in the first round so they got JJ McCarthy and Dallas Turner uh Edge rers nice time out timeout I still got four who do you think’s gonna uh fail like start with you know you talk about six Caleb Williams is he fumble enough for you I mean he fum fumbles more than uh I mean that guy fumbles every time he takes off running uh do you think he’s going to be a he’s the number one player T and he’s a career franchise changing quarterback that he’s going to lead the Bears to the glory and the Super Bowl and winning a a Lombardi do you believe that or do you believe it’s someone else who’s gonna fail in those six there’s got to be an opinion of of a couple of them you think are going to fail look as we always say nobody really knows talk about young quarterbacks I think that uh bo Knicks is in a a decent spot because Shawn pyton is very good with quarterbacks Russell M Wilson was a different thing last year he’s a longtime vet Super Bowl champion he was never going to change any of the things that he ever done him getting a kid fresh and he’s not a kid he’s 24 25 years old I think that that could work out I think JJ McCarthy could work out with oconnell and what the vik and he has good receivers Jefferson hackinson all these guys you know Caleb Williams is going to Chicago things never go well in Chicago if eberl is the coach you know there’s you you know circumstances no one ever does well in Washington I think Jaden Daniels could be good but sometimes you’re a product of your environment sometimes Scotty and
