guys well mean great great finish great
week currently T5 uh just I guess if you
could both kind of just sum it up for me
yeah I mean it was it’s a fun week it’s
my first time playing this tournament uh
Team format I feel like has just a
different vibe to it and I just really
enjoyed playing with Nico and we had a
good time and we played some good golf
and unfortunately came up a little short
but maybe next time yeah uh we Max
played unbelievable
uh we we I felt we like we had a chance
uh but it’s it’s Golf and we gave we
gave ourselves a chance at the end and
and awesome week it’s a it’s a very cool
format uh it’s different than every week
so super fun and hopefully we can do it
again and knowing this is a a team
format I guess what what maybe
confidence does it give you guys
individually like just having again been
out there and and battling for the lead
out there today how does that car maybe
carry you for the rest of the season
yeah I mean it’s team format but you’re
playing your own ball two days and
you’re hting half the shots the other
two days so you’re still it’s still golf
it’s golf is still golf you know um but
I feel like being in the mix you kind of
get that adrenaline going you know you
you know you’re near the lead maybe some
people don’t look at the board some
people do uh I know we were one one off
there for for a bit and I feel like we
were playing well and just couldn’t
quite get the putts to drop at the end
but that’s just experience that adds up
and and proves proves well in the long
run aw yeah super fun to be again in
conten

uh we it it builds up this is a good
result and there’s still a lot of golf
left in the season so so more weeks like
this are are very helpful so hopefully
we can do it again perfect and then how
did this quickly how did this
partnership kind of come to come to be
initially well I mean I was I was second
choice but the the honest answer is I
was supposed to play with Jake knap
actually I’m not gonna I’m not going to
give him too much grief there but he’s
obviously his schedule changed uh we’re
kind of buddies from corn fry tour and
uh we do some airbnbs and stuff together
and after his win you know things
changed we talked about it and it was
best for him not to play and so uh I was
actually in Puerto Rico I think that was
like two months ago and it was kind of
like everyone had already picked the
team and I didn’t really know like who I
was going to play with and stuff like
that and then I was at player dining and
a couple people I was talking to I was
about to like say yes and then um and
then Nico he WhatsApp messaged me and
I’m like yeah I like you better so I’m
going to play with you there you go yeah
uh it was I I honestly wasn’t going to
play the event and I’m I’m glad I did
this I didn’t play it last year and uh
the format is super cool the the venue
is unbelievable and and the partner was
great that’s awesome I love it and just
real quick Nico and in Spanish if you
could to wrap us up just maybe again
just kind of summarize the day today
being in contention and then um and then
and the week in general take as Max
stands awkwardly next to you
