playing golf say I yeah I play golf or a
golfer no I’m a

in his Ritz Carlton Hotel suite that’s
right just got done with his massage and
had to cut the massage short because it
was going to take a little while to
finish and he needed to do the show
that’s right I had to I had to shut it
down you know those two hour massages I
was trying to get a 2-hour 30 minute
massage but they cut it down those uh
it’s it’s it’s hour per hour in some
places 15 minutes per 15 minutes depends
on where you go that but that’s probably
for the next show but we’ll uh we’ll
roll with it we’ll roll with do you know
that I’ve never ever had a
massage I don’t really like people
touching me I don’t know either but I
mean it had to be a girl if it was doing
somebody was doing it but i’ never never
had a massage well certainly no no man
is going to touch me so yeah it was good
all right I got another
drop I like other guys yeah okay all
right go right along that’s wait that’s
contradictory though it is it is Can’t
Say No Man’s ever gonna touch me and
then say I like other guys see that’s
true you can’t can’t go back and forth
but that’s only in reference until uh
for for golf for golf picks oh okay golf
picks for sure what we were talking but
I am a h but I am a hugger you know that
my friends I’m a hugger I mean you know
no no but I’m not hugging anybody I know
I mean there’s so much coidus is going
on right now so you know I ain’t doing
thing anymore I don’t think that’s the
thing anymore Jeb got it bad it was bad
there it was bad so he got the flu yeah
basically he got the flu here’s
Johnny so um big week in golf Johnny as
we as we transition over to some um
information that people care about
listening to uh and it is a dual field
split field dual event in the weekends
that I absolutely hate and I told you
why uh off the air before the show look
if you can’t get in into the whatever
The Big Field event is that weekend then
you just go home and you don’t get to
play okay or you go play putt putt with
your family or something they shouldn’t
have to make a concession for you hey
let’s give you a particip participation
trophy because you’re not good enough to
get into the API this weekend so we’re
just gonna make a make up a whole
another Tour event for you so that you
can go play golf and get some points
well it’s actually the worst thing I’ve
ever heard in my life you’re so wrong
about
this is it worse than say the British
Open shouldn’t be a major yeah yeah no
no no no nothing’s worse than that for
sure but you got to realize if it’s if
you want to make it a normal field event
just make it a bigger field event these
Signature Events and I’m telling you
these Signature Events aren’t going to
last very long they’re not I don’t I
don’t like them um you know there’s so
many I mean you’re looking at so many
guys on the PGA tour and we talked about
it we talk about this every week and you
know how many first-time winners on the
PJ tour are
there
I mean we’ve had four this year
right as we keep losing Johnny are you
with
us so everybody yeah yeah okay there you
go I got you back now I’m
back um so you’re limited in those
fields and you 69 players this week and
a normal week it’s 144 so listen you
just you can’t really you can’t really
limit that stuff you have to give some
some some other opportunities um and you
know you’re winning P I played the
Puerto Rico event we’ll talk about this
a little I played that event three times
kind of similar to the Dominican event
uh the Mexico event um and it’s a great
it’s a great event it really is and you
have to give the opportunity for these
guys that are PJ tour members they are
PJ tour members you can’t have them go
sit home because you want to make an
exclusive field event that’s not right
that’s not a right thing to do and you
also got some players in this signature
event that are not PJ members right
they’re coming over they definitely
shouldn’t get to play they shouldn’t get
to play you know you get you know things
like that so uh you know you’ve seen
that in some of those Signature Events
you look at Riviera Tigers event you
know Chase Johnson got in he’s not a PJ
tour member so you’re gonna take away um
you know you got to give a you got to
give some opportunities for the PJ tour
members if you’re gonna if you’re G to
exclude the
fields it’s called The Corn fairy
tour that’s where they get to go
play the Nike tour
the Hogan tour whatever it’s called
you’re you’re a PJ tour me you’re a PJ
tour member you’re not you’re not a Nike
you’re not a corn fairy tour member I
mean you want you haven’t qualified yes
you did qualify it’s just a different
event you want to play for just be one
of the good guys you want to play for 10
million or you million you’re so can I
get a different can I get a different
producer or host this week please
because you’re you’re you’re not even
close to being right you’re not you’re
like Scotty you’re like Scotty Chef d
have to have two
different Scot Sheffer it’s just dumb
that we have to have two tournaments on
the same weekend and split up the entire
tour because they want to have an
exclusive event with the top whatever
guys it top 69 guys and then they cut
those down to the top 50 after
Friday and you keep freezing on
us all right well we’re going to take a
break and see if we can reconnect Johnny

league it’s it’s like a like a Thursday
night men’s league is that what it is
freaking morons yeah it’s like a bowling
league at the bowling at IND at Indian
Creek Indian Creek nine hole men’s
league they’re their major Tournament of
the year they play on a par three
nine-hole
yeah yeah and they just they just rotate
it but you know what lives you know what
Liv’s doing it’s make us making us talk
about them so they’re winning they are
winning idiots they’re ID I’m gonna have
to edit all this out now uh but we do
have one of my favorite tournaments
because it honors one of my favorite
golfers of all time in the Arnold Palmer
Invitational at Bay Hill John have you
ever played bahill yeah a bunch you know
going to school down there in Orlando I
played there a bunch and I’ve had some
really cool interactions with Arnold
Palmer uh actually went to his funeral
believe it or not when he passed yeah
when he passed away so uh yeah no great
interactions with him being in that orl
Orlando area for a while so yeah he you
know he you know everyone wants to talk
about Jack um and everyone wants to talk
about what he did but you know Arnold
was the real guy you know if you look at
today’s game you know Arnold was more
like the Phil very charismatic but what
not not in a fake way that Phil is but
but Jack was kind of the tiger right but
you know Arnold Arnold would never
really forgot a name always looked you
in the eye had a didn’t have the
impression on me that a lot of other
people did because he was I I wasn’t
around him enough for that yeah but uh
with with some of the other people that
we know in that Orlando area the Robert
damr that he grew up with at Bay Hill uh
you know just a pro profound effect on
them you know uh Sam Saunders his
grandson I’ve got to know a little bit
playing some tournaments with especially
out at Pebble Beach you know you know
what do you do I mean I’ve never in my
life had a uh if you talk about honor
Palmer I’ve never heard anybody say a
bad word about him and that’s rare I
mean I’ve heard a lot of bad stuff about
Jack and about you know Gary and and you
know I’ve been very busted to be around
a lot of those guys but you’ve never
heard a bad word and the hundreds and
hundreds of billions of people that
Arnold Palmer’s met never heard a bad
word so that tells you everything you
need to know yeah I haven’t I mean
obviously I’m not in the same Circle as
you are but you know I do know a few
people in my passing you know that that
know him and that knew him and and have
just like you just did nothing nothing
bad to say about him uh but it’s one of
my favorite courses to watch on TV and I
you know maybe someday I’ll get to go
visit it but it’s uh you won’t it’s fun
I know I mean who wants to go to Orlando
anyway give me a break I’d rather go to
Waco Texas um it’s you know it’s it’s
it’s a it’s a it’s a reduced field it’s
69 players they’re going to cut that
down to 50 the top 50 plus if you’re in
however what is within 10 Strokes of the
lead um
on they did that at Riviera which was
weird they use this the first time that
they’ve kind of tried that 10 the the 10
shot rule that’s usually kind of a US
Open rule so they they’ve done that to
try to keep some of the bigger name
players potentially sure uh playing for
the weekend but did it really work at
Rivier it didn’t I mean there were still
some of those bigname players that that
didn’t make it happen yeah they just
they weren’t there so I mean you can
only do so much right to help them out
to keep them in the field you still you
still got to play golf I mean you still
gotta play
golf uh so one of the players that we
just talked about Rivier one of the
players that fell on the wrong side of
that cut the 10 strokes and and in was
Justin
Thomas uh we talked about him a little
bit on the recap on Monday but he
certainly looks like he’s starting to
struggle again um but he’s always played
well um you you know he’s he’s what how
many’s has how many Arnold Palmer has he
played um I think he’s just played twice
right two or three times is all no he’s
played he’s played he’s had to played
more than that I mean just the respect
of Arnold Palmer I he’s only played
twice I don’t really
know okay all right well I’m telling you
right now I’m looking at it right on the
internet and they can’t lie on the
internet says he’s only played this this
twice in his career okay everything true
is on the internet for sure it is yeah I
mean you can’t lie on the internet I
know I know
uh so he’s not like Scotty Sheffer right
who’s played this like all the time um
but and Scotty Sheffer certainly played
well here um he’s in he’s what three top
15s he won it in
2022 um he almost defended his title
last year Kurt
kyama um passed him up though in the
final round uh Patrick Klay was in it by
the
way if we never ever say the name
Patrick Klay on this show ever again I
I’ll be okay with that you said it twice
in in 12 words so that’s two times more
than I I care about I I would love I
would love to tell that story on the air
about Cypress Point um the story I told
you off I just can’t yet I just can’t I
I don’t we get some drinks in you you’ll
change your
mind not on air not on air but is there
a bigger jerk on the PGA tour than
Patrick Klay it used to be Patrick Reed
so is there something wrong if your
first name is Patrick is that what it is
I know some really cool Patricks I
really do I really do my well a great a
great friend and I respect a lot Patrick
Freeman that is the tournament director
at Pebble Beach he’s a great Patrick uh
you know but there’s just a couple
Patricks that I just don’t care for I
just he’s maybe I don’t give a crap
about Patrick Reed either Patrick can’t
let and if anybody everyone that’s

tournament every year no they no they
leave the they leave a a part of the
driving range open actually they leave a
slot at the driving range open at the
end of the driving range where he used
to hit balls and there’s a sign there
that no one yeah absolutely I’ve seen
seen that on TV yeah he’s hitting balls
if he ever shook the man if he ever
shook is probably not the right I don’t
know I’m not an English Professor if he
ever had the opportunity to shake his
hand yeah he has the strongest he has
the strongest meat hooks of a of a hand
I’ve ever seen and I have big hands I’m
a I’m a big guy I have big hands he
Towers over my hands I mean it’s like
he’s got the Gorilla Glue grip oh wow I
mean it’s impressive it’s coarse and
it’s hard like he’s just just pounding B
you know know I hate to get off I hate
to get off topic but I had a cool thing
I I was at the gym today I was at the
gym today and I’m
walking I’m walking past gym and I’m
going back to Arnold Palmer and um Tom
Watson walks by at at Lifetime Fitness
and I said Mr Watson how you doing I
shook his hand and he’s he’s the same
way he he like he has that generation he
has these hands and I introduced myself
I said listen I’m at part of your
teaching Academy in in Kansas City
director he’s like yeah he’s like I get
the emails he’s like you’re doing a good
job out there I was like well thank you
very much he’s like well he’s like I’ll
be out there soon um but that was kind
of the first kind of interaction I have
ever had kind of with Tom Watson in
terms of a set not in a golf setting but
he has the same hands Jack has those
hands he’s got that that yeah and it’s
it’s really pretty cool but if you ever
have opportunity to shake Mr Palmer’s
hand I mean it you don’t forget it and I
got a pretty good handshake and he uh he
it was a rivalry I wasn’t dead fishing
for
sure I still think I could beat Tom
Watson though no you can’t he’s fit he’s
fit I can take
him he’s fit in the gym he’s fit in gy
he’s 74 now doesn’t matter matter I
could take him and Tom Kite they could
take you know what I could personally
play Tom Kite and Tom Watson and they
could play best ball yeah we talked
about still beat them we talked about
that Monday but you could you might be
able to beat Tom Kite because he can’t
go out in the sun anymore I think his
skin is so bad so he’ll have to stay
inside so you win youn go night putting
we can go night putting I’ll still win
no he he’ll he’ll definitely beat you
putting n there ain’t no way I’m a
badass I’m a catch Johnny I’m a catch
you’re a catch you’re a catch you’re a
piece too you’re a piece of something
and a catch of something even on Golf
Course Scotty uh
sheffler uh Scotty sheffler is your
favorite this week at 6 to one who would
make that bet there’s absolutely no
money to be made I was surprised at your
number you’re one of your winners by the
way it’s not a great value and you
usually stay away from those but we’ll
get into that here the second part of
the show
yes Rory at nine to
one by the way how do you feel about
Scotty uh here this week I certainly
don’t think he’s going to know for sure
he never knows I you know it’s unknown
you know and you you made a great point
is like you know his his odds are so low
you can’t make any money you have he
hasn’t really been playing so I mean how
how do you know I mean how do you know
the golf course fits him obviously but
you know lack of competition what has he
been doing in Dallas I don’t know we I
don’t have the pulse in Dallas Much
Anymore uh because I’m not living there
anymore
but yeah I don’t know I I for Value if
you just look at him for Value I just
like I like other players and I I just
don’t see it I like other guys and he
might win and he might win by 20 but
he’s not gonna win for my money just not
it’s not he’s not gonna be in the top 20
I’m not gonna risk 100 to win 600 it’s
just there’s no value it’s not worth it
terrible value Rory at n9ine to1 also
not a great value uh your guy Victor hin
coming in at 14 to one watch we may have
had him different didn’t we did you have
I got I got him 16 yeah um it says the
appearance at the
API he’s he’s made the cut every single
time uh in 2022 he fell victim to some
short game woses as he often does uh
that allowed sheffler to win take the
win that that year but he’s played well
here the last couple of years or last
year and then you know his game I think
overall has has improved since 2022 his
short game certainly better um ball
striking maybe not it still leaves a
little bit to be desired I think but you
know as a world number four you expect
him to play well here yeah certainly I
mean I I think he’s fixed his he
certainly BR but the golf course itself
you know there’s a lot of right to left
hes because that’s how Arnold liked to
play kind of same how Jack liked to
design his golf courses he liked to
design them left or right but Victor
Victor works it the other way he works
it like Jack did left or right so maybe
some of these holes didn’t fit doesn’t
fit him well but he’s such a good ball
Striker I think he can figure it out and
we talked a little bit about this on
Monday or on Tuesday uh on on the JP
Peterson show is like it’s a it’ll
predominantly help the guys who who who
flight it right to left and I think six
is a pivotal hole it’s a dog it’s a dog
leg hard dog leg right to left par five
you got to carry it over that water and
they got to make Birdie on this hole and
you got to you’re going to see some guys
that have some balls you can see some
guys that has confidence in their game
to see how much they’re going to cut
because you got to birdy that hole as
you continue to go in that back on the
back nine which is is certainly a harder
back nine especially the finishing hle
so you know watch that sixth hole
potentially it could be very pivotal
going into that backside those guys got
to make those guys got to make Birdie on
that hole and you’re going to see some
guys that how they cut that line that
they take see how confident they are in
their game so it’s it’s it’s curious to
see how that’s going to work uh 22 to1
uh are or we’ll say we’re not there yet
Xander sofley 16 to1 pass um the guy
that we said we’re not going to say his
name on the show anymore 18 to1 uh our
guy ludvic aberg at 20 to one it’s good
to see him kind of high up on the on the
pr good value pretty good value I just
how much has he been playing right I
mean that’s the only thing I
mean fall out of bed like you usually do
and he won’t hurt himself but he can
fall out of bed and and shoot 68 out
there the golf course certainly fits him
I fell out of and shot a 68 once but it
was on the first three holes out at o
Oak dirton Lewisville 68 stitches maybe
but I don’t know about about right uh
Jordan speed at 22 to1 the last time we
saw Jordan Speed Johnny he was getting
DQ at the Genesis for signing an
incorrect scorecard he scares me because
he scares me like he could really play
well this
week at
just I can’t take him I just can’t or he
could miss the cut right he could just
as easily miss the cut so I don’t know
to think about him he can he could just
say hey man listen I’m not good enough
and go down and play Mex or Puerto Rico
I don’t know it could be one of those
two things like he might say Hey listen
I ain’t good enough here and go down and
play Puerto Rico open and prove
everybody wrong I don’t know man that’s
the thing with with with Jordan you know
it’s it’s the it’s the Forest Gump
Theory it’s like the box of chocolates
you just don’t know with him and uh go
ahead no no and that that’s all I got
sorry so he’s had two previous
appearances here and he’s tied for
fourth in both appearances so he’s
played well when he’s here but like you
said he’s I don’t think he’s right right
now and I I don’t know why certainly his
head’s not in the game right now you
know signing an incorrect scorecard and
all that that kind of sums up his old
season so far right I mean that doesn’t
happen that doesn’t happen with tour
guys it doesn’t there’s so many there’s
so many people that check your
scorecards you got the scorer you got
your caddy you got yourself there’s that
doesn’t happen with tour guide now it
happens with me happens with me I don’t
even drink I don’t even drink on the
golf course but you gotta start it
doesn’t it doesn’t happen with tour guys
you need to start it’s a lot of fun I’ll
I’ll teach you my ways no no no interest
no interest I don’t drink that I don’t I
don’t drink a lot anyway so I don’t not
on the golf course no certainly not all
right we’ll fix that 22 to one Johnny
Sam Burns um you know there’s a lot of
names kind of being thrown in that
Collective had of who’s the hottest
player in the world right now I think
Sam Burns could kind of make a make a
case for himself on that he’s got four
straight top 10 he’s playing really well
with the driver right now uh he’s
finding more Fairways than he has in the
past and I think you know those those
things are going to be key for him this
week at Bay Hill to keep it in the Short
Grass um six trips here previously he’s
got one top 10 and five forgettable
outing
so I don’t know if he likes this course
too much yeah it’s a little different
Golf Course for Sam Burns I mean you
know I if if he’s driving the golf ball
really good I mean it’s great like he’s
one of those guys that kind of he’s a
little cutter of the golf ball he hits
it he hits it high which helps him I
actually like him next week um you know
let him get it let let him get some reps
in he’s T he’s taken a couple weeks off
I think his caddy Travis Perkins has
really given him you know Travis played
the tour for a couple years uh I’ve
known him for a long time I think he
gives him a lot of confidence in the
Florida stuff Travis lives in Florida
lives in Florida for a long time so when
when it comes to kind of this Florida
swing I think he can have some success I
like him a little bit just the golf
course set up next week as opposed to
this week I just I just think his game
is is more suited for next week than
this
week uh we have at 25 to one Cameron
young you thoughts on cam young I think
he’s on your C is he yeah he’s
definitely on my card and you know
looking how he plays it he’s he he likes
to hit it right to left and coming off a
pretty solid finish last week he got
stuck a little bit in that middle uh
with the with the weather delay in the
third round but you know having some
shooting 66 in that last round giving G
getting him you know some momentum and
some confidence going into this week I
really like him and I really like the
way he if you look if you look at a guy
on the PJ tour that’s kind of a little
similar to Arnold how he hits the golf
ball
I mean he’s pretty he’s pretty close man
and he’s from that area that New York
Western PA area that Arnold is from kind
of a gritty guy so you know I really
like him this week especially coming off
his success last week but I didn’t
really think the golf course fit him uh
but you know we had him on our card last
week we have him on our card this week
and hopefully he’s you know he had a
caddy change so uh this year so I hope
they’re getting more comfortable but I
like him you kind of the opposite of
what Sam Burns was I like I like cam
this week better than I like him next
week at uh at the Players Championship
players okay 28 to1 a guy that I can’t
wait for him to kind of get things back
together and I think he’s on his way
Will’s alot torus because the hard the
hard places kind of see seem to bring
out the best in him so far this year he
had a top 15 at Tory Pines a runner up
at Riviera when really he had every
opportunity to win it um
but Hideki sort of just beat him to the
punch uh since debuting here at Bay Hill
in 2021 he had a top 10 but he’s sort of
struggled since then and that’s mainly
because he hasn’t puted well here but I
think he’s putting better now than he
was at that time so 28 to one you know
not a lot to lose there right yeah no
it’s there’s some value there it’s just
the thing was Will zuris how you know
with so much limited uh tournament
experience he’s had after his after his
surgeries and taking that much time off
how much you know is he really battle
T you know his putting will certainly
listen I think will zotor is gonna win
this year I really do I he changed his
putting he changed to a kind of a longer
putter it’s helped him helped his
putting stats and certainly helped his
path and his putting not to get too much
technical as a as an instructor as a
coach but um this is this is will change
him if he can if he can have the same
ball striking that he’s had before he
when he was healthy and have this type
of putting style uh big big things for
wills alluris and I I’ll make I’ll make
I’ll tell you something right now Wills
alot torus is gonna make the President’s
Cup team oh you think yeah that would be
awesome I’d love to see that for him
yeah always pulling for Wills Alat torus
ever since he was in Happy Gilmore that
was a great appearance by him there uh
Colin morawa your favorite
golfer um and then my boy Max h both
coming in at 28 to one but we know how
you feel about Colin and his marital
status and everything but what are your
thoughts on Maxi here at Bay
Hill um you know he hasn’t really played
well this year has he I mean for for his
standards I mean compared to the last
couple years I don’t really like him in
this spot maybe next week is a little
bit better spot for him where it’s a
little bit more of a Precision golf
course I mean this week is you’re really
going to have to look at some guys that
hit the ball far I mean Max is not a
short hitter by any means but you know
the longer hit is going to have more
opportunities and I just don’t think Max
can you know take advantage of some of
the holes that some of these other guys
do he doesn’t hit the ball as high as
some of these guys and it’s not going to
be it’s not going to be windy this week
and it’s not going to be chilly this
week so high ball hitters are going to
Faire having some of these carries and
you know it’s playing 7,500 yards so um
you know I think I think he’s just not
going to have enough opportunities to
make birdies but I actually but I like
him next week as a more Precision Golf
Course than I do like him uh this week
very good well there are your odds we’re
going to go into the other side and
we’ll have our picks for both the Arnold
Palmer Invitational as well as the uh
the Puerto Rico open do you have
anything by way of Puerto Rico open we
have a couple of minutes here if you
want to give us a quick three or four
minute preview of that yeah as much as
you hate it is the same reason I love it
it’s just giving opportunities for for
new guys up and coming guys PGA Tour
guys kind of similar that they had a
couple weeks ago uh in Mexico so yeah
there’s there’s some there’s some guys
that I I like on our card for a lot of
reasons we’ll talk about the odds but
yeah it’s it they moved this tournament
around I’ve been very fortunate to play
in this tournament three times the
Puerto Rican open I played it in a few
different spots so they moved it around
but you know this time of year down
there it’s windy I mean it’s an island
man and it you know a little challenge
for these guys see who’s grinded and who
see who uh see who’s going to stay away
from the the women or the the fun and
the NTI but Johnny Vegas is not going to
play well here this week that’s the only
thing I certainly do know because you
know our Theory with Johnny Vegas
anywhere there’s there’s a place that
they play on tour it’s got good-look
women he is not playing well so he’s
easily distracted certainly easily
distracted and there the women are
easily distracted by him also so it Go
relate to that I relate to that too I
understand it’s pain there it’s it’s
it’s hard to it’s hard to say no that
many times in in a f minute span I mean
I’m right there with you Johnny and I
know you you’re right you sign you
signed so many autographs in Dallas you
just you know you walk down the street
and you’re you’re in range so I get it
get I feel like a beetle sometimes you
do you are you’re the you’re the you’re
the Blue Beetle is that the movie Blue

this week big big weekend for golf on
TV um lots of opportunities to catch
golf um so don’t ever complain that
there’s nothing to watch on TV this week
right I mean I love it prob have two
different TVs
on you have like just go to the studio
we have like 25 TVs in there you can
watch anything you want
I have been doing that had like the 72
TVs in our main studio in Studio B where
we record all these shows live and then
Studio A we got like 12 in there and
then of course the the waiting room The
Green Room that’s really blue not green
I we got like 15 in there I
don’t I’m in TV Heaven every time I’m in
the studio it just you know the hardest
part here is turning them
on so long to turn all of them on and
get them all set to their channels and
okay what are we gonna put here what I
feel like I’m at a bar but that’s great
that well it is it is a bar basically it
there’s a lot of there there’s a lot of
drama and there’s a lot of everything
going on in there we got sweets on
either side of us with some really loud
cackle women lately during the day I
don’t know what they do on either side
of us but I can hear they still got that
they still got the wellness center next
door that’s like the worst thing you
could ever have in next to us next to us
yeah right because I’m sure we’re pretty
loud too but we’re usually here at night
when they’re all gone that’s true so
yeah we’ll have to be here during the
day so we can Anno annoy more people
here in the
building doing our our silly antics in
the uh in the hallways here everybody
like what what what are y’all doing
walking blindfold with a shot of Tabasco
with taxs in the in the walkway right
right what happened to those what what
are youall doing on Indie the Kobe saap

anymore um because we haven’t been
messing anything up we’re we’re

and a top 20 every week as opposed to
Johnny’s full card and again I’m Min are
for suggestion purposes only
entertainment purposes only so Johnny
can get a good laugh um but Johnny in my
top 20 at plus 210
I like our boy Ricky Fowler for a top 20
at plus 210 not bad I mean he’s he
played okay last week I mean like I said
he was in that bad draw so um yeah I
mean you know top 20 when you only got
69 players It’s Not a Bad Bet Ricky
Fowler well I mean yeah but still I got
to pick the winner the right ones right
uh all right let me know what you think
about this this was a struggle for me in
top 10 I tried to go with some super
high value here at plus 400 for a top 10
this week in Chris
Kirk I like it I like it not bad
something’s
wrong can’t really hit it far enough but
to finish in the top 10 maybe he you
know he doesn’t really make a lot of
mistakes he hits the ball he shapes the
ball that requires that Golf Course
right to left so that’s not bad you’ve
been doing some research on your
suggestions little bit little bit and
finally Johnny my winner at 25 to one
you know normally I don’t pay pay
attention to Value I just sort of cheat
I’m like okay this guy’s favored I’ll
probably pick him but I’m trying to use
your system a little bit I’m trying to
find some value in some of these picks
and not go with the 10 to one 12 to one
guys every time right yeah so I found me
a 25 to one guy in Matthew Fitz Patrick
love it I think it’s great another great
pick that the golf course shap is shaped
right for him another guy that hits the
ball right to left he doesn’t H hit it
nearly as high as I liked but uh he’s
he’s gained 25 yards over the last two
or three years so length is not
definitively going to be an issue the
golf course is probably going to you
know with no wind and not no rain I mean
we might get a little rain on on Sunday
um so it’s gonna play it’s not gonna
play super fast but it’s not gonna play
super soft so 7500 yards I certainly
think he could tackle it man I didn’t
realize me and uh Matthew Vitz Patrick
had so much in
common you said he’s gained 25 yards
over the last two or three years I’ve
gained 25 pounds over the last two or
three
years way more than that you have no God
what are you call me fat no just big bon
big boned big boned I’m big bon Johnny

week well but boy I love these types of
weeks we got two we got a dual dual pick
weeks right which one you want first
we’re going to we’re going to go to the
Arnold Palmer Invitational let’s let’s
throw that up on screen first again I
love these types of week you know what
they say you know we we we haven’t had
the success that we’ve had last year or
the last couple years starting off but
you know we got a little unlucky last
week and we talked about this on the
Monday show but when we have two back to
we have a dual field or D dual
tournament week I love these you know
what they say man Shooters got to shoot
and and Pickers got a pick man so this
is what we’re doing this week Victor
havin I love him at 16 to W he hasn’t
really played a lot this year but if you
look at what how he’s played at the
Arnold pal imitational at 16 to1 with a
shorter field I really like him I think
he’s figured out his chipping Wes not
the hardest place around here the only
little concern I have with Victor is you
know how much he’s been playing and it
doesn’t it doesn’t fit a little right he
hits the ball left to right so maybe
maybe that’s going to hinder him a
little bit but I think he’s such a
superior ball Striker and His short game
is is a million times better I think
he’s got some opportunity to win here
second pick this week on the board Tommy
Fleetwood at 28 to1 again boy if this
golf course fits anybody it’s Tommy
Fleetwood he hits it high he hits it
right to left um I want a little bit of
the bad weather for him because he’s a
grinder he’s a European sord guy he’s a
grinder so listen I like I like him in
this spot a third pick this week uh at
the honor pal Invitational Cameron young
at 28 to1 coming off a a really solid
week last last week as as we talked
about the golf course certainly didn’t
fit him one of the longer hitters on the
PGA tour fits that high ball right to
left mold that I really like on this
golf course so at 28 to1 coming off a
good week last week cam young he’s gonna
win this listen guys he is going to win
and I think he’s motivated I think he’s
really settled with it new caddy um he
shuffled around over the last couple
years and I really think he’s feeling
comfortable and I like the way he’s
playing ham sandwich pick this week one
of the best ball Strikers on the PGA
tour Cory Connor is at 55 to one again
fits that mold hits it high hits it
right to left I really like him not a
not great last week but I really think
he’s coming into some pretty good form
it’s a really little bit of a similar
golf course that he’s had his two wins
in San Antonio San Antonio didn’t have
nearly as much water but it kind of
plays similar the green complexes are
really similar and I think the shape of
the golf course is really similar where
he’s won so I know he feels comfortable
here at at at Bay Hill two top 10 picks
this week um Matthew Fitzpatrick uh plus
260 even though Tim picked him to win
the golf tournament I shuffled him down
a little bit so we wouldn’t match up and
we would neither of us would get screwed
so I like him in that top 10
spot yeah I’ll give you a little credit
at plus 260 uh another top 10 pick this
week Jason day at plus 280 I mean this
is a golf course for him it really is he
this is this is fits him to a te now if
Jason day can can stay healthy allergies
this time of year I mean it listen guys
this might sound weird allergies this
time of year in Orlando Florida are
terrible Jason day is is he has the
worst allergy syndrome on the PGA tour
this is a real thing for him it this is
what I know this is why these picks are
success he has bad allergies if he can
keep that under control and have a like
not feel bad not feel you know can get
up and not have to take too many Advil
Cen sinuses he’s going to have a good
week and Adil C sinus should be our new
sponsor but just by saying that anyway
right let’s just say that uh another two
top 20 picks this week as always Adam
hadwin at plus 160 not a lot of value
there but you’re not going to get a lot
of value in a 60 person 69 person field
so the top 20 pick that a guy doesn’t
make a lot of mistakes I think is really
good he’s probably going to shoot
anywhere from six to 10 under par I
don’t know if he has the length to win
but I really like him to finish in that
top 20 spot um his his uh his caddy Joey
Cruz is a Florida guy lives in the Tampa
area knows his golf courses he know
these grasses he’s had some real success
at vpar that’s coming up in a few weeks
so he so he likes kind of the Florida
the Florida swing and the grasses 160 I
like him in that top 20 spot and
Christian Baden Hoy at plus 250 uh the
guy hits it far the guy hits it right to
left played well last week I don’t like
him to win I just I just I need to see a
little bit more out of him but I like
him to finish in that top 20 spot and
those were our picks for the Aron Palmer
invitation very good uh moving now over
to the as we get into the Puerto Rico
open what course is this being played at
you remember I I didn’t have a written
down Puerto Rico well that’s the country
I know that what’s the name of the
course I don’t remember either listen
there’s they’re they’re they’re really
similar golf course I don’t know where
they’re playing at this week I it’s it’s
lost on the top of my head I’m I’m not
going to make up a golf course they
played it every year they seem to change
it oh I know I found it they’re playing
at the uh Puerto Rico Municipal Airport
for Air Canada uh golf course I think
green fees are like 12 1250 to for 18
they played this place uh down south
they played it you know North in San
Juan they played it at Coronado they
played this every but it you know to be
honest with you I’m I’m not I’m not
making things up the all the golf
courses the majority of golf coures down
there are the same they have some water
they’re pretty wide open they’re golf
they’re they result Golf Resort style
golf courses so listen the golf course I
don’t care about the name all I care
about is Winners that’s I know that’s it
if you’re a good win player and you can
kind of you know figure it out it’s
going to play it’s going to play a lot
like um it’ll play a little bit like
last week at uh at at PJ National was
it’s not nearly as tight but it’s going
to be wide open it’s going to be windy
down there like it always is so I like
some of these guys and I don’t know why
you got Matthew Fitzpatrick in the top
10 or uh top 10 there but it’s uh where
yeah Matthew Fitz pack what are you
doing what are you doing to
me oh yeah you’re right is he not
playing both no well he might if he
misses the cut but hopefully he doesn’t
because we we have both on our card but
I’ll go through it I got I got you
covered I got you do you have the oh
yeah okay do you have the you have the
real pick I do the the 30 30th Fireballs
that you’re having tonight we don’t need
that look you told me to have a drink
sir we we’ll get into our picks I I
listen this guy we talented him I think
he one of the up and cominging rising
stars on the PJ tour Chris gup um by the
way there’s where they’re playing it the
Grand Reserve Golf Club in Puerto Rico
yeah they played the last couple years
they’re they’re all the same they’re all
the same so first pick on the board this
week Chris gotd her up at 22 to1 like I
said I’ve Ted this guy as one of the up
and cominging rising stars on the PJ
tour his best friend uh his best friend
won last week you saw him uh giving him
a big hug big hug so the motivational
Factor thinking playing with a guy guys
like that no one he can win is going to
give this guy some motivation KN one he
can win so Chris Gip at 22 to1 I really
like him this week Ben Griffin is our
second pick on the board outright winner
at 28 to one uh winner on the PGA tour
it’s a great spot for him he hasn’t
played well this year but maybe getting
a lesser field event is g to have some
success you know for him I really like
Ben Griffin I like him on this type of
this style of a golf course at 28 to one
third pick this week uh Bobby Mack first
out to limo Bobby Mack Robert McIntyre
50 to1 uh listen the guy’s a world
beater in Europe a lesser field event
These Guys these guys in Europe play a
lot of these types of golf courses it’s
going to be windy he’s used to playing
in the wind being from Scotland so
listen I love this guy at 50 to1 Great
Value pick didn’t really play great last
week but I still like him kind of you
know getting some confidence going in
playing down in Puerto Rico if he can
stay away from those pretty girls down
there he’s never seen anything like that
I promise you so no chance he can if he
can stay away from those girls down
there he’s going to have he’s going to
have some fun this week uh on the golf
course not off the golf course Bon
Senoritas I like him in that spot uh ham
sandwiches Peak Fred Beyond 125 to one
if it’s if you’re listening to us in our
Spanish I’m going to say it in Spanish
uno do Cino 125 to one that’s how
you yeah that is uno go cinko 125 that’s
what is that’s all you care about 125
actually I believe it’s Cen Bento well
whatever you made it up I think that’s

year’s NCA Champion I think he’s an
upand cominging guy on the PGA tour he
just needs some starts this guy um you
know I think this is a really good spot
for him I think he’s played well the
last few weeks in the events that he’s
got in he’s not getting a lot of starts
but Fred Yi guy coming from um a guy
coming from Brazil he’s not scared of
these type of condition he’s used to the
grasses so I really like him two top 10
picks this week as always uh on the
screen it’s not Matthew Fitzpatrick it’s
not his brother either he can’t fly back
and forth to go to both but we do have
Ben Sil but we do have Ben Silverman at
plus 375 to finishing that top 10 if you
look at this guy he’s a grinder he’s a
Canadian guy but we’re not going to hold
that against him but I like see I Ted
him in the in the top 20 that’s why I
messed that up I know you mess it up you
don’t even have Joel Damon anywhere but
anyway we’re we have been Silverman so
all the people that that have followed
these picks this morning they they’re
right on our picks but they’re not right
on the screen we’re not done put it back

Silverman is going to be in that top 10
at plus 375 grick higo is our next guy
at plus 400 thank thankfully you got
that right you just didn’t spell his
name right again plus 400 uh for Garrick
higo big guy loves to play in the win uh
winner on the PGA tour not playing in in
in uh Arnold Palmer Invitational maybe
he thinks he should so may spell it
right maybe please don’t cut me off
maybe he has a little chip on his
shoulder uh going having to go down to
Puerto Rico but I don’t think he’s
scared of the moment I think he he knows
he’s one of the better players in the
field so I really like him in the top 10
spot at plus 400 uh two top 20 picks
this week as always it is not Ben
Silverman uh it could be his body double
Joel Damon at plus 250 they’re actually
the polar opposite body doubles it’d be
just like Tim and H honold
Schwarzenegger so Jo Damon I really like
him at plus 250 uh he plays great in the
wind you look at some of his success
that he’s had playing in these off tier
events uh you know Mexico down in
Dominican all these things that he’s had
he’s really had some success uh he’s had
it he’s he his tournament win is in a
similar type of golf course where it’s
been windy in a in a smaller field event
so Joel Damon good value at Plus 250 the
finishing that top 20 and our last pick
this week Martin lard at plus 350 thank
you thank you Tim you did finally get
one right on the board I really like him
at 350 little success only thing I don’t
really like about Martin lty hits the
ball very high so if it gets really
really windy he’s going to have to
figure it out but he’s he’s another guy
from Scotland that can really play in
some AWC so at plus 350 you’s one of
these older guys maybe making a really
res a little bit of a Resurgence to fit
him in that top 20 spot I really like
came at 350 I don’t know what’s worse uh
John Gerber the fact that I messed those
up so bad or the fact that you didn’t
notice it until we’re already on the
air oh the first one is right I mean I
you know I’m a busy person well that’s
because I care about the Arnold Palmer
Invitational that just shows how much I
don’t care about the Puerto Rico classic
open do we need to find do we need to we
need to hire a new producer or what do
we need yes please we’ll just get Colby
to do it he’s sitting in there watching
TV on his phone he can he can probably
produce it certainly couldn’t be worse a
dumpster fire than what you did on these

really do I have all my papers on on my

have a whiteboard and I really go
through this I cross people out and I
listen to stuff like this guy he went
out and Puerto Rico Johnny Vegas like I
said he’s not in play the next few weeks
for sure I mean he’s just not um you
know he might win John Deere I is there
if there’s a tournament in Nebraska and
Iowa Johnny uh Johnny Vegas will
probably win because I mean that’s John
Deere right I mean that’s they play that
up there in the Tri Cities or whatever
it is and that’s a running joke but you
know it’s a running joke but it’s
actually very true it is very true very
very I believe it I believe it you know
his his last name is not really Vegas
it’s like something weird but he’s such
a rock star he just is Vegas now they
just decided it’s Vegas well his name’s
not even Jonathan it’s Jonathan or
something right like yeah he went to of
Texas so he’s he’s got the rumors
there’s his first problem right there
well better than better than A&M but
right I’m looking for a I’m looking for
a great week this week to catapult us
you know what two years ago we had both
winners in a dual it wasn’t this one but
we had was it two years ago or when we
had our monster year of like over
$770,000 we had both winners when we had
a dual event so uh we’re looking forward
to having that again this this week yeah
we’ll we’ll recover for sure we’ll be
paying atten attention so look for us on
Saturday morning early with Johnny’s
matchups if indeed there are any if
there’s not then we’ll tweet that out to
say hey no good matchup last week four
and one last four and one in matchups
last week on Saturday and Sunday and the
one should have been a win but Shane
Lowry stumbled and lost by one stroke uh
in his matchup so very close to a five
and0 perfect uh weekend on matchups and
we’ll look for more of that from Johnny
and we’ll be doing a little summary on
971 the fan Columbus affiliate uh we do
a little thing on Sunday mornings for
971 the fan so if all all you guys that
want to do some streaming we usually do
that about 11:15 eastern time so if you
guys want to catch up so so do some of
our matchups we’ll do it pretty early so
you guys can uh get your matchup winners
for Sunday yeah I’ve been looking
