Throw catch throw.

To start your swing feel like you’re throwing the club at someone standing to your right (but obviously dont let go of the club)

Putting energy into the club early helps get the club moving on track and will increase your club speed.

The club should be moving fast by the top of your swing – it’s the thumbs job to slow the club down as smoothly as possible. If you “over swing” you need to start slowing the club down earlier.

In the downswing feel like you throw the club at that same person standing to your right. Notice the clubhead is NOT moving up towards the sky during the throw.

  2. テイクバックからの切り返しだと思う
    トップの切り返しは、自然に自然に減速と加速なのだと思うよ!😅

  3. These always have me scratching my head for a few minutes, but after I see it 20 times in a row….I'm in awe of the genius.

  4. Thank you Jake. I had a lesson with you yesterday. Just went to the range, and didn't think about my swing at all. Just hands at impact. 6i down, cover the ball(ball back bottom a bit more in front), hands to create the slight push draw. 2h up widen as we move up, more tilt, trust the pull fade. And most importantly PLAY GOLF! First time in a long time(maybe ever) i had zero swing thoughts other than creating with my hands. Time to start hitting bombs and scoring.

  5. Ty helped a ton❤ any videos on keeping shoulders and hips in line? I need a drill to help with my setup. I usually can keep my shoulders in line but my hips get out of line and cause a huge slice. Don't know what to do. 🙏

  6. Jake, met you at the PGA show and really love the channel. I tried this out and got some success, but how does this compare to the cast and turn concept from your other video?

  7. To me it seems more like a throw, catch, pull. I don't get that second "throw" for the start of the downswing. That doesn't feel right to me. It's more of a pulling down

  8. I am having the hardest time playing on a course. On a range I do okay, but the minute I get on a course, it all goes to hell. Always a hook because I am flicking. Is there a way to "train" against flicking your wrists that cause the club to be behind the ball at impact and hooks it left?

  9. I'm thinking it's more of a feel… But when you actually swing it it blends in together to where you're not actually casting the club.. just like when you see tiger woods doing that hip bump drill is a over exaggeration but he actually doesn't look like that when he swing or with Rory when he does one of his drills..

  10. Dude I haven’t hit a ball in 22 years, but these videos make me want to get back into it, because the big thing I didn’t like back then was 1. Not really knowing what I was doing, for sure. 2. Knowing that the people around me were full of shit and didn’t know either!

This tips make so much sense !
