Scottie Scheffler’s impressive bogey-free round | Round 2 | RBC Heritage | 2024

In the second round of the 2024 RBC Heritage, Scottie Scheffler posted a bogey-free 6-under par round of 65, placing himself in the hunt for the weekend.

One week after the Masters, the PGA TOUR heads to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. This is the fifth of eight Signature Events in the season. Scottie Scheffler returns to the field this week, despite being fresh off a victory at the Masters. The world No. 1 has not shot an over-par round all season and has three victories (and one runner-up) so far in 2024. He made his debut at Harbour Town last year and finished T11. Matt Fitzpatrick looks to become the first golfer to go back-to-back at the RBC Heritage since Boo Weekley in 2007-08. Fitzpatrick, a playoff victor last year, has two top-10 finishes this season. He has just one missed cut at Harbour Town over the last six years. Ludvig Åberg will also be in South Carolina this week after his impressive second place finish in his Masters debut. He has four top-10s (including two runner-up results) so far this season and is knocking on the door for a victory. Others to look out for this week are Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama and Viktor Hovland.

can yep big high fade coming up
might have cut the front bunker there he
might be a little smoked out a little
tired as opened up with a 69 but you
knew at some point Scotty Sheffer was
going to show up this is his third I
thought Scotty was in a little trouble
there short-sided on number two but uh
plays a beautiful high flop shot up over
that bunker and well pays it off with a
punt
plays this one more out to the
right that’s fine just a little further
back than he would like 277 all the way
there do a little breeze and shorts not

there back to Sheffer his third at the
par five fifth yeah is a warm-up
pitch got some short game skills he
chipped beautifully last
week back to the fifth and

and Jordan speed’s days are complete
he’s had an amazing run here get that
much elevation on a three-wood on a
pretty flat lie or maybe even a tough
lie as you described what do you alter
in your swing at all I just tried to
move it up in my stance make sure I made
Solid contact and hit it High um solid
contact I think is always the most
important thing well you know how to win
you’ve been doing a lot of it lately
heading into the weekend you’re in the
mix what what do you want to keep doing
uh in a positive Banner to win yet again
yeah just continue to try and execute
shots I think uh you know there’s a lot
of guys in front of me right now on the
leaderboard but I’m only a few shots
back so you know hoping to to get off to
a good start tomorrow and then uh
continue with that momentum final T
