Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2024 PGA Championship is set to take place between May 16–19 at Valhalla Golf Club. The reigning champion is Brooks Koepka.

trophy I don’t know about you but I
thought might just be where we were but
the PJ Championship it was Rowdy uh
there were a lot of people I even
remember coming off the 18 pole for the
practice rounds was nuts yeah I think
the PGA does a great job of you know
setting up the huge Grand
stands preparing for as many people as
they host and at ballalla I think it’s
going to be even louder if we get good
weather if the Sun’s shining I’m sure
it’ll be hot humid and a whole lot of
cheering yeah it was actually
surprisingly loud it rochest for how
freezing cold it was so I can’t imagine
a good weathered uh good weathered PGA
Championship yeah it’s hard to scream
and yell when you’re holding an umbrella
so hopefully this year we get no rain
this idea of work life balance I’m of
the school of thought that it doesn’t
exist you can’t you can’t be everything
to everyone all at once have you figured
out the secret to work life balance can
you share it with the rest of us wish uh
I don’t think that there’s a secret I
think the one thing I’ve taken uh to
Heart knowing that I can’t do everything
I would like to do is I like I find now
when I come home from golf and I’m with
Cam I am uh more present in doing that
because I know I’m like limited in time
but I’m more like engaged when we’re all
together and I do the same thing with
golf like if I’m going to go to the golf
course for 4 hours and be away from my
friends and family I might as well like
really focus and make it a great 4 hour
so I think maybe I don’t think that’s
the secret you’re never going to make up
for time you’re going going to be gone a
lot we I mean I mean we see each other
more than we see our wives so that is
probably probably tough they probably
somewhat thankful at
times obviously a big goal of
ours this season is getting in
contention for a major hopefully winning
one I feel like we learned a lot from
the open I feel like uh we learned a lot
from the PGA at Southern Hills I feel
like it’s coming together a little bit
more I know we’ve had our conversations
about the details in ins and outs but I
do I do think that a lot of it is
getting something under your belt uh
feeling the heat a little bit more on a
on a weekend so I am looking forward to
this slate I feel like this year will
feel different I think I’ve learned the
about the preparation a lot more and I
feel like it it could potentially feel
more like a just a regular Tour event
than it has at least to me in the
past it was an amazing experience it’s
going to I’m going to take a lot of the
successes I had had and the moments even
that weren’t successful with me towards
you know future big events and hopefully
future big Ridder cups uh at the end of
the day that was just fun it was just
the most fun I told the guys on Saturday
I think it was we were getting killed
and I told them I I’m convinced Saturday
was the greatest golf day I’ve ever had
it was the most fun I’ve ever had on a
golf course and I I think I walked up to
a bunch of them and I said hey I know
yall have played a bunch of these it’s
my first one I begged them I said please
don’t take this for GR granted I said I
know we’re getting killed but like this
is the most fun I’ve ever had in my life
and I hope you guys all still feel some
of that and uh I don’t know it was crazy
I I know I got to I I won a couple
matches and and that and I have some
cool moments but just hanging out with
the guys andow getting that kind of pit
in your stomach like I want we want to
go do it again we’re looking forward to
hopefully being on a team in Beth Page
cuz losing stinks almost more than
winning is fun so I we we all I think
all want to get back we got a pretty fun
trip planned in May we’re going to the
PJ championship at Valla you excited
yeah bourbon country I I don’t think
we’ll have to worry about where to
celebrate if things go correctly we’ll
know exactly where to go do you think
Elijah Craig will let us run out the
Rick house for a victory I might just
make them at that point how many bottles
of Elijah Craig can fit in the W to make
the trophy oh I’m planed to find out so
that would be a great uh that that’ll
I’ll answer that question hopefully in
