the highlight of the morning without a
doubt happened in the 10th group to come
to 17 the New Zealander Ryan
foxs he made Eagle the hole before at 16
and the ace at the Fain 17th hole Ryan
Fox brought him out of their seats early
in the par five 535 yds mattye Schmid
sets a play his second this was earlier
front left hole location here today uh
there’s a couple of ways to get it close
you can land a little right of the hole
let release or go right at it like that
just do that for the eagle
opportunity for Schmid one of the better
second shots we’ve seen in there the 26y
old from
Germany got it so he missed his first
six Cuts finish tied for 10th I like the
fact he’s gripping down on it so it
indicates to me it’s a longer club with
less Loft so try to drive it in there
low see more of an easier arm swing
there great job of controlling the
distance with his wedges earlier today
and that’s a fine shot underneath the
hole in the middle of the Arnold Palmer
Invitational this for birdie and a share
of the
lead and a little bit of history at the
Players as well melroy’s ninth

has 10 with that one so add to it even
with putting two balls in the penalty

play it out to the left and use the kick

Fitzpatrick was getting something going
there he makes the birdie at 11 and he
has a nice run going four the last five
and three in a row he’ll heads to the 12
at three under par and this is the one
you want to get way up in here Gary get
this at land as softly as you can

lands pretty
softly for Eagle
now Dan I mentioned Nick Taylor’s name
if he makes this putt they tie they play
both practice rounds
together oh you got to hit it I hate to
leave an eagle putt short straight up
the hill but he’s going to get within a
couple of mooy and shafley maybe it’ll
be Connor is who gives that
those seven Under Numbers a
run and this a moment ago Marty Schmid

birdie first part of the putt up the
slope and then once it gets into this
low area downhill moving
left

day at the ninth and someway to finish a

68 for Schmid Ben on looking to finish
with something in the
60s
69 let’s see if any of these guys can
convert it’s home of

longest of the three Birdie putts on
this 15th hole and Mark
hovert got eight and N to finish out
this uh quality first round playing that

get it in that Fairway on the right side
and one of the best irons we’ve seen
into this final hole since they started

seen many putt from that side with that
big palm tree there it’s all been from
the center of the green that’s kind of
that lazy stroke we talked about when he
made that big bender on 17 he’s the only
guy that seemed to make that but three
holes left for him over on that front
