Federation you wouldn’t rely on Banning people who’ve been in other feds you would rely on your drug testing procedure to filter out them athletes would you exactly so clearly their issue is that their regulatory systems are not up to scratch so they’re trying to ban people before they even can get in the

2013 is when when they all started to get popped on a big level like at the Europeans and the world and they was all getting popped up then for Trin ball and stuff and I think that was metab bites that was the first time they started getting done for metab
Bites look look at weightlifting in the Olympics I I think is assuming like 60% of all medalist of test is positive at some point in weightlifting and that’s a Bonafide Olympic sport yeah I think from the 20 drug testing doesn’t work there was one class in lifting from the uh London 2012 where
I think like 12 out of 13 of the top ranks had had tested positive and it was like 13th Place should have come first like if if drug testing was adequate yeah yeah but did that that happen in the fer did that not happen in cycling

Saying we accept all so at that stage if someone chooses to compete in that Federation and be natural then that that’s their choice uh that’s where it’s open and everyone belongs and if you want to have Fair competition you belong in the natural drug tested drug regulated Federation so when for example
When Paul says that I should be banned if I if let’s say arm Gods becomes regulated um I agree with him so 100% so I will never compete in a drug tested Federation ever because I don’t believe in bringing drugs into them federations I believe in the legitimacy of what they’re trying to
Achieve within the sport so I will never do that so if arm God says yeah we’re now going to drug test I won’t compete like and I’ll find an Avenue in which I can compete within their rules um so I agree with you Jim that yeah you know
Banning is something that needs to happen um within the regulatory bodies that have decided that they are natural Federation so to speak um respect and I I do I do respect the transparency as well but the problem what we’ve got is most people haven’t got the Integrity
You have where you’ll be open about it and they’ll you’ll they’ve got that Avenue where they can go and compete and they’re non-tested federations but they still want to it metal hooding yeah you still want to infiltrate the tested Federation sing off the gear sneaking in through the back door where where the
The natural guys haven’t actually got somewhere where we can go and compete on a level I I believe I believe that that’s the issue so rather than like the general usage of it which is like it just is going to happen you’re never going to regulate that it’s always going to exist what
Needs to happen is more stringent methods that stop these individuals from competing in them federations that have decided that they are drug free um to do it have we so no you never well there isn’t there isn’t the money to do it in the Olympics so this certainly

Could beat me in a race but uh I used to be a sprinter before my lifting days so I competed over 100 meters and ran for sale harriers so when I ran for sale at that point I was a drug-free athlete so I was in drug every obviously all
Athletics is drug tested at that stage I left I went into powerlifting a few other things and eventually I started taking drugs when I started my strongman career and I was at that point openly taking drugs later on when I was at one of the when I was at the running track
I’m open about that the people at s who organized their athletes came to me and said do you fancy coming and throwing the shot put for us and I said you know that all I’ve done is take gear for the last two years I cannot throw the shot
Put for you and said go on there just just just do a few meets we need the points and that’s the reality of it there so even if it’s not the athletes who are doing that the people who are organizing the events are supporting it the people who are organizing the teams
Are supporting it because people care about points on a board and when it comes to thing people care about winning you know right let let’s just touch on this Sebastian Sullivan because I think he you think he might be in his versus West uh I think he missed the first part

Certain amount of people that like it a lot of people don’t like it first thing is when we applied for a sponsorship right and we’ve we believe me we’ve applied for it with a lot of big companies and each one of them companies has come back and said listen Mr maiden

Fibers they’re a bodybuilding clothing line yeah correct have to sponsor them I mean Kevin Leon was the only bodybuilder ever sponsored by Nike and that was like 25 years ago but there’s still sponsorship there it still exists you know yeah but yeah but that’s like saying that like the only sponsors that
Arm wrestlers get maybe odd protein powder and that guy who does the RIS ball that’s it you tell me you tell me an IR wrestler who who gets sponsored Travis B got sponsored by VCH or whatever it was right and then that that that went like that you know they’re not
Interested because the truth is like we’re in the [ __ ] Dark Ages doesn’t matter if it East versus West or not they’re not interested because no arm wrestling got AR wrestlers have got following following they no following but that’s not related to them taking drugs like they don’t have a following

He had that sponsorship when he became a personality because he got more following at that stage you get he has more following now as a personality than athlete he didn’t have any sponsorship as an athlete like that but he’s still a drug using individual yeah and he still the sports
Company connected to let’s look at this way now if what happens to a what happens to a a sportsman with a big brand the second that they get done for drugs what happens oh yeah 100% they’ll they’ll get dropped yeah okay and so if if them brands are forwardly right that’s what they’re

When I was competing in strongman which was over 20 years ago we did have a mainstream sponsoring it was Citron Vans but only paid out money for the prize money when when they started drug testing people so even then you had to take a drug test in order to receive
Your prize money and I was sick from Vans and we’re going back 25 years if you look at the rest of everything you’re talking about now then so we we talk about Nike and the Olympics or Nike and Athletics now we know that all Olympic sprinters are on gear we know
This we know that from the relay team that set the world record three three of them have tested positive the three of the four Jamaicans and the only other person who didn’t test positive was Usain Bol who immediately after you three tested positive decided to retire
And become a shite footballer so we know us say bolt was was on gear as well so do you actually want drug free sport or do you want to remove the transparency because if you care about sponsorship and that’s because that’s what Paul’s just saying if you care about
Sponsorship then you just want to remove the transparency so that like East vers West isn’t going to change that their athletes are their athletes so if you want the athletes to start lying about what they’re doing then get sponsorship is that really the better solution no B
It’s about perspective in it most most people run big companies haven’t got a clue about sport so they’re happy for the governing body to say yes we drug test I’m just I’m just people regardless what goes on in the oh yeah wait CEO just want to know they’re supporting

What about just saying at your next event, the armwrestlers need to be 1 year clean? No drug testing; just on the athlete's honor. This may not change anything, except the cheaters will unequivocally know they're cheats (and the honorable gear users will probably not participate).
