A look back at golf news from the week that was March 24th.

Over in Singapore and you know what that is truly a real tour other than the fact that they do not play in Canada but I digress anyways we had yes yesper spencon winning that event uh he played some great golf over there uh just sort
Of kind of edging out uh um kedc f barnrat and uh boy I hope I said that name cuz if I did and I said it right it was on one tap unbelievable stranger things have happened so congratulations to yesper the lady CRP in tour however
They were off this week now we’re going to go across the ocean back to this side so we’ flown back and now we’re in the sunshine state I mean it a sunny Oak Today in Florida we had no less than three events and the first one was the Epson tour which was played at Atlantic Beach Florida uh it was the Atlantic Beach Classic at the newly renovated Atlantic Beach Golf and Country Club uh I actually have a bite to play there if
I get down to the area which I will but anyways we had a Epson tour rookie uh LPGA rookie winning that event that was Rihanna shakon and congratulations to her and her team uh I mean it’s something else when you have a rookie going out there playing some pretty good
Golf and taking home a check at $40,000 not too shabby at all uh now of course we had the PGH play this past week it was the bbar championship in the uh T of Springs area and winning this week was a gentleman that hasn’t won in over 3,000
Days as a matter of fact the last time that this gentleman won an event it was believe it or not while Barry Obama was the president of the United States 2015 congratulations to Peter Monna uh him and his yellow golf ball that he plays because because of his son and uh
I mean way to persevere way to fight and grind and for those that don’t know he’s actually on the players advisory Council this year for the PJ tour as well so congratulations to Peter uh that was well deserved and I mean it was a it was
A battle of attrition so uh the FP Championship actually brings me to my poutine award winter for the outstanding Canadian of the week and I’m giving that one to McKenzie Hughes for his is TI for I think it was third it was either way was top fight finish uh he finished TI
For third so congratulations to McKenzie Hughes on the prestigious P award and close to rner up Adam hadwin and Jessica hadwin happy birthday to you cuz you just celebrated that so happy Birthday Jessica we also had the Hope Classic on the old balls tour otherwise known as
PGA Tour Champions and it was padrick emerging at the Hope classic I mean he’s won seven seven events now overall on on the senior circuit and congratulations going to to padrick Harrington Califor Nelly Cordo wins in California it was Nelly Cordo winning on the LPG this week but with that win it’s
Projected that Nelly Corda will return to her spot in a way it feels like her rightful place on on Pride Rock like The Lion King and she will be the number one female golfer or number one golfer on the LPG number one in the world so congratulations to Nelly uh that
