Come on PGA I know a dude selling CDs in front of the car wash that could do a better job of getting these rounds finished on time do better let’s jump into this Analysis welcome back to Bray birs DFS one of the best places for PGA NFL MLB and NBA news and of course DFS if you don’t know by now I’m Walt if you haven’t already please like And subscribe to my channel well welcome to my analysis of the round three Showdown
Contest on DraftKings we can pull up my round three check list and we can see that I like to look at seven things so the first thing to discuss is the morning wave weather Edge and I mean it’s kind of crazy I mean because because DraftKings can’t not because of
DraftKings because the PGA can’t figure out how to end round on time a lot of it a lot of content creators were guessing as to how the golfers are going to go out and when they’re going to go out so which is just ridiculous but in general
There is a morning weather wave edge and I believe that will hold true tomorrow now facts are facts it’s going to be Breezy the entire day so you’re not going to be able to escape that so I think that lessens the wave edge a little bit and because of the rain
Overnight the greens are going to be softer in the morning but I don’t know if they’re going to totally bake out and uh get crispy and hard by the end of the afternoon so based on what I’m assuming and my assumptions based on how they’re
Going to go out I think there will be a slight morning you know wave weather Edge um I don’t think you should go crazy maybe make it 42 towards the morning and if there’s a tie breaker a player that you like and there’s a tiebreaker you should go towards the
Player that’s going out in the morning so the second thing I would like to discuss with you is trust the data and I say I said kind of previous weeks but I put it even more to sync with caution so all of us uh you know have played you
Know Golf and other sports all of us have watched Golf and other sports and a lot of times the statistics just don’t match up to what you’re seeing with your eye you know I jok last week A lot of times when most of us watch football and
You know you’re either mad when your coach goes for the fourth down or doesn’t go for the fourth down or you’re mad when your coach goes for the field goal or doesn’t and you’re angry because this coach is you know has this smart you know statistici in their ear telling
Them things this coach has this this sheet of Statistics telling them things but you with your eyes you with your eyes you don’t need a little sheet of Statistics to know that you should or shouldn’t go for the field goal you don’t need uh a sheet of Statistics to
Know that you should go for the fourth and one and so that’s what I mean by trusted data so yes I’m going to show you the data through the first two rounds but just know that there’s something beyond the data and that’s why you should play and watch the sports
That you’re participating in from a DFS perspective number three it is only one round of golf and that definitely holds true for a tournament like this where we have a lot of players that I’m not calling scrubs but this isn’t the strongest field so yeah a lot of these
Players you wouldn’t play for a 4-day classic you know main slate kind of event but it is only one round and every single golfer in this tournament has a I mean it’s going to be Breezy but every single golfer in this tournament has a five six maybe even seven underpar round
In them so don’t get afraid I know some of these people you’ve never seen before outside of maybe their picture you never even heard of them but every one of these golfers has one good round in them number four there’s some Game Theory when it comes to DraftKings I say this
Every week it’s different than betting a lot of people the Casual people treat you know kind of play DraftKings like betting and a lot of times People BET like they’re playing DraftKings but they’re different bets are usually you know uh binary you either win or you you
Lose maybe part L but you get what I’m say you either win or you lose uh as opposed to uh DFS where there’s gradients you can you can lose you can Min catch you can there’s so many gradients and also when you’re betting you’re going against you know the house
Just a straight up house as opposed to when you’re playing DFS you’re going up against other people so you’re going to have to you know look at a lot of sources you’re going to have to think how other people are thinking you got to keep your ear to the street so there’s
Some Game Theory involved in uh DFS that’s not necessarily involved when you’re just straight up betting and then number five there’s some luck and gut don’t let anybody especially if you doing multiple lineups if you want to have one or two luck and gut lineups and it’s just crazy you can have those
Lineups and you know what sometimes they win we can all be honest and say that we’ve had some of those lucky and gut lineups win and I know every single person watching this video can say that we had a statistically sound we we paid for the Optimizer we paid for the lineup
Builder we watched you know we watched Walter’s video we watched this person’s video so you’ve had statistically sound you know uh lineups that bombed and you just had those letting gut you had the one where you were like oh crap um you know uh start time is at 7:44 and
Like at 7:39 you put in this luck and gut lineup and it wins so we just got to understand that uh there a lot of there a lot of things that just don’t come through in statistics and we just don’t know because it’s not like we’re you
Know we’re there on the golf course and we see him limping or we see him you know leave the porter PO with some some Pepto or some stuff like that I mean it’s crazy stuff that happens that we just don’t see so there is some luck and
Gut involved and then I’m going to show you uh my picks my recommended picks from each salary tier from the 10,000s the 9,000 8,000 7,000 6000 and then we’re going to discuss some round three studs all right so let’s get to the data and the first is Ro g off the te through
The first two rounds and you have Cam young you have Alejandro tosy you have Ryu huun we have Chris gup and we have Sheamus Powers so we mve to approach and approach has been pretty predictive so far as far as how well uh the players are going to play and you have Stuart
Sink you have Kevin stman you have Ben Martin and we have Keith Mitchell and chz re all right so next we have strok G around the green and we have the two Canadians we have Adam hadwin and Adam spinson we have uh old man I say that I’m about to
Be 43 so I say it tongue and cheek we have old man Lucas Glover we have Webb Simpson and we have Hayden Springer and probably the second most predictive thing so far through the tournament has been putting and we have Peter malati we have Sam Ryder we have Chandler Phillips
Uh uh and we have McKenzie hughe and we have have Brendan Todd so all right let’s get to DraftKings and my first pick in the 10,000 above is Justin Thomas so I mean I put him on the thumbnail so it’s probably not the biggest surprise uh in the world for you
So he’s playing well in just about every category so I just feel like this is his tournament to lose he when I did my my full main slate video he’s number two in recent form yes he’s been cut two out of the last three three events but overall
He’s made four out of six cuts and he’s made the top 10 in two all right moving to the 9000s we have uh Nick Taylor who’s done well in just about everything let me see what my stats saying yes he has done just about well in everything
But putting so if he can improve his putting he is someone that we definitely want to lean on for just one round and then we can go to Eric Cole who’s played well in every area except approach and I said approach is probably one of the most predictive stats for this
Tournament so we just need him to clean up his approach shots and then he is someone that I think we can really all benefit from in round three and then these last two golfers have done well except off the te so we just got we need
Them to do better off the te and that is Ben Griffin at 7,100 and then we have chz reevy at 6300 so finally what we want to look at we want to look at those round three studs and we can look at the screen and we can see that Harrison indicot Cameron
Champ Patrick Fishburn Adam spinson and Billy horo are our round three studs so let me know your thoughts feel free to leave comments but otherwise go out there and win that W I hope you enjoyed that video and I hope it helped with your analysis if you haven’t already please like And
