  1. 20 y/o World No.123 Luca Nardi with the most amazing night of his young life so far!

  2. "…in history" is an overreaction. If this happened at a slam, maybe. But not even. In 2022 after his deportation, Djokovic was losing matches to Vesely and Davidovich Fokina for f-sake. And then he came back and won 3 slams and the goat race. Nole is clearly not very motivated by much other than Olympics and adding to his slam titles. Well done to Nardi but he ain't gonna beat Djokovic again so hope Nardi enjoys this moment. He played the match of his life so far.

  3. no matter what else happens in Nardi's career , this is something he will never forget and very few have done. He has the ability to be a top player, I hope this win propels him to greatness. As other commenters wrote, it was not that Novak played poorly, it was Luca who was that good! Being able to produce a winner to end a rally is key. Nardi has that tennis sixth sense. I remember watching Caroline Wozniacki many times. She was one of my favorite players but her she never could put a point away. Endless rallys hoping her opponent would make the unforced error.

  4. After seeing the interview and Djokovic claiming he had a bad day. I'm not seeing it. He had some strange moments, but he seemed to be playing well.
I don't think he gave credit enough to Nardi. That was an out of this world performance. When I find myself reactively leaning forward in my seat out of the sheer disbelief from the wild shots he pulled off, I know that he's something special and simply outclassed Novak.

  5. Bravissimo Luca continua così!! Il futuro è roseo per il tennis italiano 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

  6. Well well well, I get a feeling it's max one more Grand Slam for Djoker before retirement! And he's going to have to fight very hard for that too… That AO loss was indeed beginning of the end. New gen players have measured upto the Big-3 finally after an insanely long wait!!

  7. Siamo italiani, abbiamo tutto. Se solo decidessimo di studiare e non farci rappresentare da servi e personaggi ignobili, continuando come negli anni d'oro a far nascere due milioni di bambini all'anno, saremmo il Paese migliore in assoluto per distacco.

  8. Djoker didnt play that bad . Nordi just blasted him out with those crushing forehand winners and a good net game. Finally I think age is catching up with djoker and if he can really pull another GS this year, it would be commendable but with the likes of Alcaraz, Sinner and even Medvedev, the weak era of 2015-2022ish is over and at almost 37, Djoker has a tough battle ahead and an almost retired Nadal as well. The Big 3 era is probably ending by 2025.

  9. Espero Nardi no pierda en la siguiente ronda. Es lo que siempre ocurre. Le deseo mucha suerte!

  10. The people claiming that Djokovic played really well are delusional. Nardi played a magnificent match, but Djokovic was terrible. When has Djokovic ever been the kind of player to let most of his groundstrokes land at the service line? It never happens when he is playing well. Djokovic's depth of shot was missing for most of this match, which allowed Nardi to dictate most of the rallies, and that's why he lost.

  11. Out-played Novak and used strategic mix of power, feel, and slice. Smart game by Luca Nardi! Bravo!

  12. I think that we're seeing the beginning of the end of Djokovic's career when he's getting beaten regularly by common players nowhere near the top ten…

  13. A supermán se le está acabando la fuerza ya es muy seguido así que no es invencible ya debería ser más humilde y ver que jajajaja ya le agarraron el punto de quiebre

  14. Hum.. Joke fan here.. very stranger.. I think that he do not want to go far here, he is not defending points, 2nd set he play as he want, lets see in Miami. He is a smart guy. He's plan is to continuing be N1. Maybe he wants to win just Miami. Remember Cicinnatt with Alcaraz. I believe, he was'nt mad, he was ok. That is not Novak loosing. For sure

  15. Rafael Nadal ran away from this kind of embarrassment before the draw. This new generation has no fear nor respect of any GOAT
