What’s up guys welcome back to the channel for those of you don’t know my name is Chris Moore and in today’s video we finally got a set here we just installed them we got a set of Brocks performance cam shafts for this 2022 Suzuki haoo so we’re going to be
Getting this thing dialed in today actually I’ve already snuck and done a pull without you guys and it performed so well I was like yo I got to go get the camera we got to video this puppy and show everybody and share the secrets of this recipe that we got done on this
Bike because it is a very strong performer stay with us guys here we Go All right before we get into the numbers let’s start talking about the recipe this thing has got a bunch of good parts on it that have got it performing extremely well first off we got a brock performance full titanium CT exhaust system so this is also the exhaust system that’s quoted to
Not fit just right okay so Brocks makes this is considered a Gen 2 exhaust and it sits extremely close to the oil pan now I can’t get up in there to show you because all the fairings are on but long story short the exhaust system like hugs
The oil pan basically touches it bro’s performance they took them back off the market and then no longer labeled them as a gen 3 exhaust or as will fit a gen 3 because some let’s just say incomparable mechanics were not able to install them properly long story short
It will work it will go on there as you can see we’ve done no magic we’ve used no hammers you just got to know a little something with your tools boys but anyways the exhaust system is on there that is the full titanium CT single all right next up the airbox what has
Been done to it Brock performance sells a Sprint air filter and that is the p08 so it has the street version of the Sprint air filter and then HTP racing has made some velocity stacks for this thing this is the short version of the stacks and they have hooked us up with a
Set of those and then we’ve got the Brock performance cam shafts these are his old stock cams that are in here these things basically a direct replacement the Brock cams are a direct replacement of the factory cams no shimming of the valves no valve springs no removing of the engine it’s a direct
Bolt-in set now if you’re a backyard mechanic and you got basic tools I’d probably skip that installation job yourself and take this to a qualified mechanic who has experience with doing something like that uh one little keep of the cams wrong uh the long story short put the
Cams in not degree properly and boom now you need a valve train can be very very expensive guys anyways enough blabbering let’s fire this puppy up see how she sounds it sounds pretty much just like it used to here we got a little room room room
To start with but for the most part idle’s real nice and smooth just like Factory she sounds so good but better yet wait till you see how this thing performs all right guys here we go we’re about to rad through the gears on this thing it sounds so so good this box performance CT single exhaust not crazy loud but it sounds really good oh and

11,000 RPMs guys and you can see this thing is still making power now now used to on our stock cams it would go up and then back downhill she would go 10,000 RPMs that’s about as high as you want to rev a stock one now with this new setup
We can take her all the way past 11,000 RPMs it’s reading almost 12,000 on the tachometer the TAC is a little off in real life but you can see we’re going to like 114 115 in actual numbers and this thing is still making big Power and just like
That the new Busa is all finished up let’s go in here and take a peek at the dyo numbers we ended up we had a really good tune when I showed you guys when we started the video I do not have a before and after unfortunately so this thing
Came into us and we threw it basically tore it down immediately we did not dyo it in stock form I wish we would have but all and let me show you where these cams are really going to stand out at so from the factory this is 10,000 RPMs they’re
Going to go up and then they’re going to start to head back downhill and downhill in a hurry well with the cams I’m going to say your overall Peak number which is still at like 10,000 is not going to change a ton okay it’s going to change
Some but not a lot but where it is going to change is out here so where it made 18858 and that’s at 11,000 200 RPMs I feel like the other one’s probably going to be in the high 160s so you’re talking a 20 horsepower gain at 11,000 RPMs these things do massive this
Is the gentleman that owns these things and when I say these things I’m talking about he’s got more than one toy boys he’s actually got more toys at home what else is it home Road Glide 23 Road Glide Special uh 24 e CV St on the way CVO St
So he’s a Harley guy too so tell us a little bit about these things you got a 23 gsxr1000 a 22 Hayabusa which one is your favorite to ride uh my age now of course the booa because of the comfort of it felt like it was down on power
Compared to the 1000 but now that’s why I was itching for these cams and I wanted more Mafia to install them cuz I wanted them install right all the local dealerships were afraid of it they threw the things in in a short period of time uh dino numbers are down what 191 yeah
Th000 what 184 so uh a little heavier but I think now this booster would give that th000 run for the money yeah so and I feel like he summed it up pretty good too so the boost up from the factory yeah they’re great yeah they’re comfortable but
They’re just lacking that little bit and that’s when these cams really bring these things to life life now you guys have seen plenty of our dyno videos and no matter what exhaust no matter what air filter no matter what velocity Stacks they’re low 180s mid 180s with the basic
Modifications this bumped us up to 190 191 but better yet it extended that power out there so before as soon as they felt like they were starting a fly they fell off and then that’s where the gsxr1000 the lightweight really shine now this bike has got a Brock’s
Performance CT exhaust system on it so he’s got full titanium pipes on both of them he I I don’t know man I’m a jiger man he likes theusa I definitely have both and I definitely like both but for him he says the boo is the way to go all

I’m with this fella, im knocking on 50yrs old, iove the litre bikes but after 35-45min i need a break & my gal pal rides with me most time and modern litre bikes suck for that too, these days i have a 22 ZX-14R, a 23 Hayabusa, and a little CBR650R for easy going cruising

Chris, I think you need to point out the TORQUE difference over a liter bike. HP is matched around 190 but the Busa has 30% MORE TORQUE- 110 vs 85. Factor in this 30% increase in torque with the 190 HP holding an additional 1500 rpm and this Busa should be an absolute screamer of a rocket. If only we can get video of a roll on race (before and after cams) against a liter bike. Once again, please add in a 30 second clip of the customer reaction, post tune ride. Hey Chris, I have 2011 600 gxsr, and wanted to know if you'll do my ecu flash. Will it trip on the engine light or anything like that? I just do want to have to take it to the shop and have someone else work on something that I did to my 🏍.
I just picked up my 25th Anniversary Busa today. What a joy to ride. Its comfortable & smooth. The quick shifter is 10 times better than my 13 S1000rr was. More nimble than my 08 Busa was too.

Thank you so much Chris! I really enjoyed hanging out with you and Kountry, you both were super cool. One thing I didn’t think to tell you is those bikes haven’t been ridden since September and the gas in the tanks is about 5 months old. They may have done a little better with fresh gas. I may want to bring them back to get ceramic transmission bearings installed in both bikes. I think the ceramic transmission bearings would definitely wake the 1000 up.

If the only numbers people pay attention to are weight and horsepower, they're missing half the equation. The GSX-R1000 is around 86 ft-lb torque. The Hayabusa makes 110 ft-lb torque. Tell me that's insignificant, and I'll sell you some ocean front property in Nebraska.

Not convinced with these to be honest. My tuned 23 makes 187hp with a full Akrapovic system and DNA filter. No way is this worth doing for 3hp.

Thanks but what cam did you get as you said you were going to tell us in the next video ?.
I'm asking because I dont know, but Brock's website shows dyno numbers for these cams putting out 210 hp and 120 ft. Lbs. of torque in a busa. Why is there such a huge power difference between their busa and this one? I'd invest in these cams for 210 hp and 120 lbs. of torque, but not for 190 hp.

Busa’s power for a 1300 CC bike, to me is disappointing. I feel they should be well over the 200 hp range. Especially a new model Busa. M1000, Zx10’s and the Ducati’s are all in they 200 HP range. To each of his own!

Kind of off topic but has your shop had any complaints about the new gsxs1000 engine knock on warm start up that lasts about 15 seconds. Years prior didn't do this nor did the k5 gsxr.

Suzuki messed up with this 3rd generation, too poor in terms of engine
I had the opportunity to take the bike out yesterday and made about 7 or 8 pulls from around 30 to 170mph. Bike is obviously ramping up to speed a lot faster! The main thing I noticed is I was running past redline into the 11.5 area and not hitting the rev limiter until around 11.7 or 11.8. The cams are definitely well worth the money.
