Lexi Thompson bursted onto the scene by becoming the youngest player to qualify for the US Womens Open at the staggaring age of 12 years old!
At 16 she set the record for the youngest winner of an LPGA tournament. She was quite the prodigy!
Playing her best golf in front of PGA pros and showing her insane talent at such a young age and showing the hard work and sacrifices she had made were well worth it.
Like any young prodigy, she unfortunately encountered some bumps in the road, and is still trying to navigate these obstacles today.
