Thank you lab putter for my new DF3
I am out in Portugal for a proam so hopefully this new addition can get me some points for the team.
Russ (coach) – teaches me a new drill with my putter to bring my putter back straighter and through the same way.
Hopefully this helps someone else with the same problem
Can you guess the practice area?

Thank you so much to lab golf for sending me their new df3 Potter let’s take a look at it a little bit closer also the case very very cool hair col the case hair col apparently well no apparently I’m not allowed to call this a case it’s not
Not case is it it’s a cover J what what covers your clubs what do you call this she G she’s gone the the the case right okay also the head cover is very cool shade cappuccino the brand new version the df3 is a bit smaller than
The one they released last time cuz I think people were saying that the head of it was actually way too big so they’ve made this a little bit smaller obviously this as well picks up balls which is incredible I opted for Cappuccino cuz coffee um yeah so these
Are the alignment lines that I chose and they’ve got a load of different ones online too um it’s pretty cool you can customize and make it the way that you want they also come in different alignments if you wanted a heart so Russ has got one as
Well got a little heart cute um so yeah I’m going to test this out I used it for the first time yesterday haven’t really done any drills with it so I’m going to test it out and do some drills and yeah we can take a look and see if this
Actually is as amazing as people say it is I don’t know what he’s doing do just getting the slope the slope yeah if we’re doing a drill I’m going to calibrate the slow okay aim Point how would you do that so you use your feet actually aim point is quite a
Good it’s quite it’s almost a recent it’s not a recent thing but it’s it’s become a bit more popular over the last few years you basically feel the slope with your feet instead of your eyes cuz your eyes can tell you all sorts of things hang on calibrated about two 2 to
2 and 1/2 2 to 2 and 1/2 on the slope um which is just over two fingers if you’re holding up straight over the ball have your left side of the index finger in the middle of the hole and then wherever your second finger comes out onto the
Ground hole is where you then so for me it’s come out to just just short where I’ve put the teas and then two and 1 halfs I’ve added a little bit um and then put the tea in the ground so we can do that for an alignment basically what
You’ll do now is line the ball up it’s also a good past drill um cuz where that te is you can almost I mean you want to be playing that as your aiming point and then you just keep putting and then eventually you’ll get the feel of the
The pace the greens um and you’ll know if you start it on that tea all the time you’re going to be pretty close to the hole there’s very good people to help with this Jamie Donson at Wen is very good what right so you basically want to
Use the lines of the ball line on the ball line it up to the T which it now is and then you want to get all your three lines of your Pucket yeah Square so the middle line Square to that FL line yeah and P it was good your back strike was just
All over the place so said yes of then just rock don’t use your wrists just smashed it he just hit two off they hit the hole and you got away it’s all about forward press the shoulders back like that so out on the golf course obviously
Aim point for you isn’t really going to no can’t do it work just cuz you haven’t leared how to feel the slopes yet but you can still use your eyes and pict picture there being a tea there okay you get away with that you see see when you bring it back you then
Go like this or like that so you actually go like that yeah do I need to watch my putter on the way back no just focus on the ball at tea the hole the poter just the B so you know what that you know what that girl was using the potting that
That’s that’s what this would be good for okay for you to keep the part square if anyone wants to donate me a man I’ve got one good see that poter well that will do that again did I look so look at your putter so it should be coming a little bit this
Way is Beth’s too close to the ball so on her way back she has no room to Arc she doesn’t use her shoulders that much yet what what she actually doing cuz she’s too close it’s going this way so the face is actually lifting up a bit
But you can’t have it and and it’s going that way so then what’s happening coming down she coming down and it’s a pull so what we need to do now stand a bit further away from it and let the part of rock where your shoulders create that Arc
Okay what am I doing here you’re going to hit that part and then we’re and then we’re going to discuss that’s all lined up see what I mean really should I not be hitting them if you were aring if you were aring the right way let’s do this for a
Bit no you missed the te’s but the only reason you missed the te’s was CU you open the club face up after you move past them stand a tiny bit further away from it get the distance away over the ball rock your shoulders don’t use your wrists in any
Way yes there you go best part you it all day that that’s good I gave you a bit more of a leeway with the te but let’s go so now you’re going to really challenge me this really challenge there you go so what’s this going to do so this is
Now going to make sure your p is square and you’re hitting the ball where you position the ball so in the middle I mean mine’s a bad example cuz I’ve got a heart here but your three lines your middle line you’re setting up on where
The ball is lined up and this will just allow you to hit it square and get the putter back in position I you did see so tendency is to how you even hit that white te without hitting the brown one it baffles me but your tendency is to hit it from the
Right from the top half of the ball and pull it so like your poter is is come came back there but then it went like that good really good goes in if you hit it you saw me stop yeah cuz I went like this yeah all right we ain’t going to
The range until you’ve not one in so knock it in okay that’s how I thought I lined it up straight to it have to be funny enough though you do like feet alignment yeah it is yeah yeah but you’ll get there yeah you just got to
Figure out a way for your eyes to actually see where your feet are at think you struggle with that thank you everyone for watching my channel Beth’s golf please like comment and subscribe um obviously I use the lab golf poter but I am still a beginner golfer
Hopefully this helps someone else who is be who is a beginner golfer and is looking for some patching drills to help them out too U maybe you’ve got the same Tendencies as me when it comes to patting so this is a really good drill and we’ll hopefully help you out and I
Hope you enjoyed looking at this absolute Beauty

Excellent 👌 I've things to work on.🙂
Really dig into L. A. B. and work on keeping feet and shoulders square to the line. The face will already be square to the line as you putt. Not a lot of arc needed at all.
