Good couple of eag on boys are doing their thing I’m sure you guys are too what was your big takea away from the day uh couple Eagles today especially on 18 yeah yeah that was huge to finish like that I need to get myself right back uh in Striking Distance with
36 to go um kind of a sloppy day you know outside of the Eagles um kind of a sloppy day but uh obviously Eagles you know make up for it pretty fast so to have two Eagles kind of on my last seven holes uh really kept me in in the golf
Tournament so that was nice to finish that way what do you feel like you have to clean up over the weekend yeah no three putts I’ve had a couple over the first couple days it’s kind of sloppy hitting good shots on par five to the middle of green walking away with par
It’s not that’s not where you’re looking forward and trying to win a tournament so I’ve got to clean that up and uh and hit more Fairway you know I I feel like I hit a lot of Fairway today yesterday I didn’t hit the driver very good okay and
So subsequently my score wasn’t wasn’t as good but um if I can hit the driver uh nicely on the weekend I think we can make a run at this the guys on the broadcast weren’t sure about whether your drive on 18 was purposeful or or or a mistake what what happened in your
Estimation yeah it was a mistake but it’s a mistake now that might turn into something purposeful I’m looking at all the space over there and the angle up the green and I’m thinking man maybe this is the play so uh it’s definitely something I’ll talk about with my caddy
Over the weekend maybe that’s that’s an area because of how open that is over there um I have a history hitting in that bunker on 18 and this one is the first time I actually happen to hit left of the bunker and kicks down there and it’s in Fairway and shooting straight up
The green so that was by accident today but if I do it in the next couple days then that’s probably going to be on purpose how about the par 410th it’s the hardest Par Four on the PGA 2 or one year ago what was your strategy first
The t-ball cuz you laid back and then one of the best irons we’ve seen this week into that green yeah that was a really nice uh really two really nice shots I hit a bullet draw three iron which I knew should be just right in
Front of the water take that out of play and then another bullet draw four iron it was the same one I hit on number six so I had similar Visions in my head of just hitting the same shot and I was able to do it and pull it off and then I
Hit a nice putt to kind of cap it off so that that really got me going I think on the back nine once I turned and we had 11 down 12 down I know I can start to do some damage so again for the kind of the
Sloppiness that it was it was nice to have a couple Eagles and put myself right back in the tournament you see the family here what’s the plans for the phale fresh crew this evening yeah feale fresh going to grab some food um and just hang out we’ll see what time I tea
