Said he wants to come so I will be inviting him obviously um Harry goer like just anyone Stuart car Smith he came to the last on it’ be cool if he could come again not that he does not that he does do a lot anymore

But um yeah just be great be great to get it done I am open to suggestions of where we should play it uh at the moment I have I’ve started inquiring at a few different golf courses so I’ve inquired at bramshaw hamptworth um I haven’t done haven’t inquired at

Camp Heath yet I haven’t inquired at Guilford yet Addington would be amazing wouldn’t it as well I do want to do it at a course that I vlogged before so there’s sort of that consistency I don’t want to do it at a random course that I’ve never

Played I want to know that it’s going to be a good venue that it’s got a good layout and all that sort of stuff so I’m open to suggestions if there’s anyone involved in golf clubs um please do comment and let me know if you like run

A golf club and you’re like we want it then talk to me I’m thinking it’s going to be a pairs competition so it’ll be like a peirs event um C he would be class I agree I agree it’s going to come in pricey though that’s the only

Thing um C Heath will come in and it’ll be1 pound plus probably H probably the same with Addington that will be in the pricey end but the top 100 courses and I’ve heard that the Addington is fantastic so John Doe um that is one on

My list I need to get back and do because that will be class um yeah Guilford so Guilford I think would be reasonable but even Guilford I just had a quick look on their website and gford is expensive now guys golf boom has boomed and actually I

Found a really cool fact out the other day and it’s on my phone so I’m G to quickly find it um it’s not Christmas calm down um okay this was the interesting fact in 2020 before the pandemic the top 30 golf courses in England Wales and Ireland and

Scotland would cost you on average about 221 pound per round to play that’s in the summer so peak season if they had risen with inflation it would now cost you around 260 P around with the D Manor in Ireland at 430 and turnbury in Scotland at

495 that is crazy money and it has had a knock on effect everywhere so I had a quick look at Guilford earlier is it still in my phone no it’s not but it was looking like midweek with food um was looking like it’s going to

Be in the 70 Mark just for that and then you’ve got to add a bit for price is um I probably won’t do charity I should do it for charity but I just want to do it for you guys you subscribers I want you to get the benefit from it

So you can add like 20 quid on and do like five or 10 pound ahead for prizes and then 1010 pound for charity if you like but I want to try and keep it as low as possible and um why are my hands being so busy hands are being so busy um

Uh but on C that’s a great sh there actually 27 holes that would be good um yeah I can’t remember what I was saying just saw the messages and I was like boom give me TV what kind of era can it be anywhere it can be anywhere like I said

I’d like it to be a course that we have featured on the channel before that would be amazing um just to keep that sort of uh consistency um it’s going to be a peirs event I want food before and after I’m thinking my last one which is when I got

To 500 subscribers by the way um we had 40 people of the day so I’m thinking we could double that easily easily maybe not easy but we could probably double it um maybe even like 100 people I mean what’s 18 fours anybody really good at Maps do it before

I type it in 18 Time 4 72 people so 72 people is 18 four balls or 36 pairs being a pairs event obviously um if you can only get one person I’m sure it’ be absolutely fine you can still enter as a single and you can just get paired up

Automatically with other people um but yeah 72 people so I reckon you could probably do 80 72 80 84 you did 84 you could almost have a shotgun start which would be amazing so everyone play at the same time and you all come in for food at the same time um

Yeah with that amount of people you’d like to think course would be able to do an amazing deal for you certainly knock a bit off um so fingers crossed fingers crossed especially if we ended up buying the prizes through them um yeah that would be amazing I’m really tempted by

Guilford because guilford’s a great layout it’s not as expensive as the other courses but if you’ve got the likes of you know Campell Heath’s probably going to be 130 quid something like that addington’s probably goingon to be well up there St M would be class I did think

It’d be really good to have a place um which has a hotel so people can invite te Robinson not sure he’d come he’s probably too busy um I haven’t watched D Robinson in a long time in a long long time but yes I I was thinking it’d be

Good to have a place so like bramshaw they’ve got a little hotel on SES if people want to travel they can just come down and obviously the New Forest is a desirable place for holiday in and stuff like that so that could really work um I know I’ve not vlogged bramshaw before

But I will do I do it I certainly do it before the golf day if it was there um HW worth we’ve vlogged a couple of times that would be good and that sort of where me and olle started the channel really um back all the all those days

Ago camper Heath’s a big one um old Thorns I thought about old Thorns could be quite good the only thing that puts up that old Thorns is the fact that you can’t sit in a clubhouse and watch groups come in but then if it’s a shotgun start you wouldn’t need to do that

Interesting yeah that’s something to consider um but yeah open suggestion um yeah yeah you’ll enjoy old FS it’s very enjoyable Mr gim TV uh it’s got a Tesla charger old Thorns there you go just takes all the boxes doesn’t it takes all the boxes um yeah so that is the golf day it’s

Going to be August it’s going to be midweek it’s going to be a peirs it’s probably going to be 80 plus people because there’s so many people I’m thinking it should be a a shotgun start because everyone gets done at the same time otherwise no one at the beginning

Of the day is going to wait all the way to the end of the day the only thing is if it is a hotel like a hotel resort then you would get people that are staying over so they can just hang around priz given and all that that Shang um so

Campell Heath and me smashing my fivewood down the Fairway and that old lady giving me a funny look I thoroughly enjoyed that as well they put in my face favorite moments I thought about kic Mana as well as a destination originally I was thinking I’d keep it local to us because Um because this is where the Channel’s base it’s all down south coast I would stretch it to Sur because we’ve got I think we’ve got quite a um good yeah there is too many options you’re not wrong um we’ got sort of a fan base I picked up quite a lot of

Subscribers from sorry and also moving it further up if you’ve got people from even further north that want to play it’s not as far for them to come if you come right down the South you’re sort of I would say keeping it to about two and a half hour radius um circumference

Distance if you go up a bit you’re sort of bringing in all of that and all of this at the same time um so yeah ARA perbeck great of course they do good deals too actually ARA perbeck that could be good um I think people would travel

Travel for it because it’s going to be the best golf day of the year peirs comp prizes to be won it’s gonna be fantastic it’s gonna be fantastic um but I need to get G date in soon if we’re going to do August because people are going to want to bank holiday

24 no I’m actually b e Sussex this year on the DJs tour East Sussex uh weekend in July Sunday Monday we are doing a two-day event overnight um but that I think that could be something we could work up towards because I’m if this is a success successful day bit like big

Auggie I will try and make an annual event where we do around every year and then as it grows or maybe gets bigger or not necessarily bigger but as it happens more successful let’s say then an overnight day could be on the cards yeah could be on the cards could be very very

Year so I sort of didn’t document it because I was doing well I thought do you know what let’s try and win it I didn’t win it got pipped on countback by Mr Christopher binton so my handicap has come down uh I’m off like nine in the tour this weekend so um yes I we are playing Merck Park on say so anyone local wants to come say hello that’s where we’ll be ridiculous I’m just yawning in your faces um and then in April we’re playing bath golf club and then in June we are playing Chichester in July we’re playing East

Sussex 2-day medal a day and then in August we’re going to Blackmore oh yeah and then we finished at East Horton at the end of the year which would be good in September so looking forward to the DJs tour this year I’m going to bring

That to you I’m going to bring it back to you guys um it will be mainly solo Vlogs but then I’ll let you know who W top three where I came um as we go forward whereas in the past I was sort of going around everybody asking them

There a series of very serious events you have to get through to game um you have to know a guy glad to hear it CH you have to know a guy um and you have to know a guy of a guy and then they need to put you

Forward and recommend you and um there’s a very strong stipulation that you’re not have to be a [ __ ] because when I first started the society it was open to all people were bringing friends bringing it like growing growing growing and then like all of a sudden the [ __ ] turned up and

Everyone’s like don’t want to play with them don’t to play with that guy and he ruined everything he left um and I was like let’s tighten this bad boy up so um no [ __ ] allowed not saying you’re a [ __ ] Stewart I know far from it but I don’t know I don’t know you

So you might be delightful and you always comment nice things so you you probably are delightful but the beauty of it is if you are lucky enough to be paired up with like an Alex Marsh Mike West partnership on the golf day then basically all my people would be

There to vet any potentials that like are want in on the society I would be getting vetted on that day and uh I will get a list at the end to say um to say you’re allowed that’s fine because it’s not impossible to get it’s not impossible to break into the tour

Ben chzn he came to the last golf day and uh he is now a tour member uh who else did there was another guy I played with through YouTube can’t remember but Lee Irving he’s now on DJs tour um and he is absolutely spoton um he’s now my new

Handicap secretary actually and very grateful to have him on board which is amazing Um so yes and yes Lee you do know and I know you’re not C because we’ve meant we’ve spoke a few times actually now haven’t we um so yeah in fact do you know what I think I messaged you once didn’t I I think we were shter player

Um but honestly a rider cup weekend special real golf versus subscribers would be amazing you could Almost Do Right top six pairs from the golf day could qualify to play in a intimate real golf rider cup weekend if only I was allowed the time off to go to go play whatever I wanted

Changes geek mode golf geek mode hello um what do you think of the new handicap changes coming in April I am all for them I think it makes total sense and do you know what that what I’m talking about so whs basically when you do when you play

Around now you go out you play Golf and go well I’ve done pretty well there I’ve shot like 36 points amazing and then you put it in and then it goes through and your score diff comes out and you are like hey it’s gone in like let’s say you

Played off 12 it’s like oh it’s gone sorry I froze then I was worried disappeared uh com through good I contact as I wanted to play in May and that’s what the pro told me yeah absolutely mental mental couldn’t believe it anyway uh handicaps so yes

And you play around you 36 points I say playing off 12 and it goes in score diff comes in it’s like off 13 and you’re like oh not going to get cut then that’s not even going down might go in as one of my better rounds but yeah that was it

And I was like oh that’s a bit rubbish bit rubbish thing um whereas now golf courses are all this is mad this is the Mad thing all golf courses are going to have to change their handicap boards because the sum is happening before you play the round so

So playing at mer Park this week it plays Two Shots easier than normal so in the olden days you’d go there you’d play off 12 you shoot 30 points and actually would go in as a 34 Point round and you wouldn’t get cut and this that the over

And when you get cut shot 36 points you shot a good round oh no didn’t but it didn’t and then um now when you play playing off 12 your playing handicap will be 10 if you shoot 36 points points off of 10 you basically shot your handicap there so that would

Go down as a 12 and that would be bang but if you shoot like 38 points off of that 10 then you’re getting cut like so amazing your good rounds off of those lower playing handicaps mean that you will definitely get cut whereas before you could have

Had you could shoot 38 points and that’s the equivalent of shooting your handicap if that makes sense I think it’s a good change apparently the whole the whole world has done it that way before but for whatever reason England hasn’t done that and now they are um catching that

Up for this year does that make sense everyone does everyone knew did everyone know that was coming and changing was it just uh little handicap buff over here hello I’m a handicap buff how are you did I ever change driver after you had your fitting with Ross at EP golf no

I didn’t but I think about that shaft in that Golf Club a lot I think about it longingly like oh I would like that Shar I would like that Shar again it was lovely but it’s not to be um I just it was amazing doing that fitting absolutely loved it that sha felt

Amazing it felt even in my head I felt really really good um but I just could justify the money really I really like the TSR driver head that I was using in it as well but it’s like cost me 500 to 600 pound and then I

Hit my driver and I hit my driver better than any of the other drivers I’d hit that day you just saying bloody hell I would be so much better off spending 600 pound on lessons and just dedicating getting better at swinging the bat rather than buying a new bat and that’s

The problem with fittings for me it just confirms that thought process it’s like actually you’re not good enough to be better the club won’t make any difference you just need to get better and that will help uh little Hampton it’s my local thoughts on the course thoroughly enjoyed it really liked

Little Hampton would definitely play it again um yeah really really enjoyed it really good um some cool holes it’s a shame like you don’t get to see the sea more but yeah I really enjoyed it it was very pleasant we’ had crap weather running up

To that and the course was in good neck I bet gets I bet it gets really quick in the summer zeff I’ve only started back after 17 years I’m still old school handicap I’m about 12 on that no idea how that works with the new ways I best remember

To hand my cards in yes so in the olden days you used to go up 0.1 for a bad round and then come down 12 is just Category 2 I think so if you shot three better than your handicap you’d come down three times 0.2 which goes like 0.6

Down you get 0.1 0.10.1 .2 down .1 0.1 so on and so forth the new days the new rules are 20 rounds they take your out of your last 20 rounds they take your eight best scores yeah eight best scores and the average of those eight best scores um

Yeah it’s good and it’s reactive if you put all your rounds in and you can do it on your phones like my EG and stuff um put your around in it becomes a very very reactive handicap um goes up and down accordingly it’s fantastic absolutely love it love the new system

Um I love the fact that you can do it everywhere really really good do you think you would get some new clums and if you did what would you get no I don’t think I will I’m still I mean the irons a t100’s so they’re absolutely fine I’m

Always tempted to buy a new poter just because my pter is I think I bought it probably the year after I got married which was 2010 so my P is probably 13 years old now the metal X number seven or whatever it is Odyssey but I’m pretty good at patting with it

So that’s the only thing that holds me back I would just buy exactly the same putter but in the new version um yeah Archie hello Archie thanks for commenting ever got a chance to play haling yes I have thought it was amazing I did think it probably wouldn’t

Make a very good Vlog because it’s blind shots everywhere so when you would be filming you’re never going to see the ball down because it’s just blind shots Gore so I thought this would not make a very good Vlog because you can’t see the ball down until you get down there and

Then your next shots like wow this is so cool soon as you sort of come through the gor they’re like oh wow this is an amazing hole now but you can’t really see that from the t- box which is a real shame and actually I played it and I played it

Pretty well I think I was probably off about 15 at the time and I was 10 over stood on the 18th T thinking this is amazing I’ve played so well here today and I was five off the tea on 18 I think I finished

15 yeah like I made a nine on the last and uh I very much said to myself then don’t think I’ll ever come and play this again because that is a brutal golf course and I’ve just played it pretty well I probably won’t play it better I’m done I’m frozen am I still

Grand very nice just family get it I get it my guy um yeah I’m finding it a lot harder to get serious golf play in um with the young family it’s sort of like I still did well last year don’t get me wrong I think I played 30 rounds last

Year so you’re averaging nearly nearly three rounds a month um grown up no I’m free I’m free big on fly away my babies um yeah I still managed to get 30 rounds in last year which is amazing um but it’s just not that like not many of that was at weekends I reckon Probably eight rounds maybe nine rounds as a weekends so that is well I suppose it’s a third of it but um yeah that’s crazy crazy crazy crazy uh so yeah get it you know give your family time it’s hard to juggle goly hard to juggle between them um

Yeah yeah um so Ryan my guy who is a member over there playing with him he plays on the tour and I’m playing with him this weekend uh s have some PS if you need any you got have my P I’ve got a crappy old pter in the cupboard if he wants it

Um yes and whenever I’ve played him there it’s getting better and better every time and what is really funny is this year actually I don’t think he’s watching but this year on my calendar is I’m sure it’s the year we’ve got a bet on BET with Ryan 19th of

July this is hilarious so he was quite drunk when he made this bet his laughs 19th of July it’s up and uh he was saying I tell you now the new head Greenkeeper ARA perck will be the top on a top 10 course in the UK by the 19th of July 2024

And this was probably three years ago I reckon he said that um yeah which is hilarious I was like I’ll take her up on that bet without a doubt and he was between me him and Robin and he was like if it isn’t I will

Treat you to a top 100 golf course round somewhere in the country which will probably be all per which is absolutely fine don’t mind that at all um but yeah if he wins and then are in the top 10 in the UK by that time um we have to treat

Him to the top 100 course somewhere not AR poak um so yeah but it’s great to hear like Lee said great to hear that they are coming back because it was not long ago probably four years ago that that course was poor like really bad and they were

Just ding out on the fact that they had amazing views um you yeah taking all the gors bushes out I think that’s how to spell it it’s completely different yeah they really opened it up like they took all the gors out on the par five up the

Hill or at the right hand side on the bank and they took the gors out um behind the 11th that t- box is and he took the gors behind the t- box of that pathway down the hill they taken that one out so you can sort of see more of the harb and

Stuff yeah it’s really good really good there so hopefully just get that get the greens good and Fairways nice and they’ll be laughing I there always going to be that sort of more of a rustic style course whether rather than a pretty much all gone now all the course pretty much all

Gone taking all the course bushes out like all of of it not just a little bit all of it oh my God so excited need a lot of drainage 12 13 15 7 yeah it does need a bit of work I just do you know what annoys me

About Al per because I just feel like that holes are wrong that 18th hole for me is such a let down for a finishing hole like I think the second hole should be their 18th that that would be so much better so the first hole and

Layout it’s just ropy that course is probably the most frustrating course in the country it has the potential to be such a good track if you get someone on to get hold of that course and turn it around put some money into the Course Maintenance sort the bunkers out just

Maintain the course to a high level some of the holes are fantastic there like really good elevation changes um just need someone to own it like I would love Steve Pall from Fernand Forest buy that golf course and just do H for Lever all year round golf there’s no excuses for

That course to not be in good condition it is a joy play I play it a couple of times maybe three times I loved it every time I’m just like wow value for money really really good um yes as far as I’m aware Lee they’re on phase two now which means those holes

Are now open and in play um and I I believe there’s a phase three coming which I don’t know what what that is but yeah the owners don’t care at the Hampshire they literally just they literally just taken taken every penny from it that they can there real shame we had a society

Day there they don’t do good after got kitchen they got bar area it’s all very pleasant um and they were like do you want we can get bacon rolls here like brilliant and got there and they had literally ordered them in from somewhere and they would just sat in like a hot

Plate like oh God like come on this is bit ridiculous um how hard is it to go out the back Chuck some bacon on the grill and just Grill some bacon you come back to it in five minutes time flip it all and done and just put it in a bread roll

But yeah very very sad that it’s going very sad another course gone members flooding out to all the other Courses mean membership rates go up great for the golf courses but not great for the golfer I did what I thought they were most of them would come to N I figured

Most would go to Nan you get some go to Crane some will probably put their names on the waiting list at Fern down but it’s a waight list maybe some go iord yeah sad is it real sad but not done out of it night’s now full there you go so

Many courses are now I’d heard that crane is nearly full there’s rumors that crane Valley’s membership was going to be full um which is just Madness everywhere’s full it’s just crazy and then like you join somewhere and you can’t play at a weekend when you want to

Join when you want to play and you just think like God you can’t get a tea time of the time that you want to get that’s not why you joining Golf Club you’re joining Golf Club to pick and choose when you can play more or less within reason you understand that it’s

Going to be busy or you know the times you want are going to be times that other people want but when you get full Membership you’re sort of losing the benefits of being a member in my opinion shame sad times sad times because for me for me to be able to join somewhere I would I would um want to play like early on a Saturday or early on a Sunday like

So many other people um and you just can’t get this two times there’s always a select group that get that sorted out early doors done dusted you can’t get in there yes I also think it’s disgusting the course was great it wasn’t the Euro tour which is madness yeah it’s a real
