Cory great day tied the low round of the day got off to a nice hot start and rode it right to the part 51 yeah had uh had a really good start um you know knew that was going to be key there’s there’s some really difficult holes uh through
The middle of this golf course and um was really happy to get off to that good start had a lot of quality shots early on H nice to have a couple good up and downs on 10 and 11 to make a couple more birdies there and stumbled a bit on 12
And 13 but um you really proud out of the way I battled back after that and made uh made three more uh coming in and had a really good save on 15 yeah that’s where I was going next cuz everybody’s stumbling at 12 and 13 so bring us
Inside the ropes on on what’s happening with those holes why so difficult the difference for you is you bounce back not everybody’s bouncing back out there so why so difficult on those two holes and how big is the two at 14 yeah I think those two holes 12 in particular
Is a really difficult t-shot um you know it’s not easy hitting From the Rough out here either and uh the green on 12 is particularly challenging there’s really only a small area you can hit the ball to keep it on the green um lots of you know running off in basically every
Direction so it’s it’s very difficult and um you know tricky t-shot on 13 as well it’s one of the t- shots I like turning the ball from right to left fits that hole well but um we missed the Fairway at today to the right and wasn’t
Able to get up and down but um I think you know both those holes you really got to Bear down and and hit a good t ball and give yourself a chance uh from the rough here you know you’re definitely going to be scrambling uh but certainly
The two at 14 was a very pivotal moment got got me settled back down um you know I was looking forward to you know that shot really after um not getting up and down on 13 and it’s like yeah this is this is where I can turn the round back
Um in a positive way and um hit a good shot there and and it was great to hold a putt all right Hogan’s alley ball Striker win here those of us that are really familiar with your game go this is a Cory Conor golf course so I’ll ask
Cory Connors a Cory Conor Golf Course feel good for 36 to go yeah I definitely feel good my record here is just horrendous um but I do love the golf course I think it does set up well for me and I’ve got a great mindset coming
