A little about this past week um I thought it was the best event of okay I thought the golf was the best golf I have seen um so far this year it was exhilarating super exciting I didn’t even need [ __ ] 16 um Charlie Hoffman 48y old I wouldn’t call him a journeyman
But a guy on his last legs you know out there who’s you know had his tour carard for the last 20 plus years uh but still you know 48 years old you’re on your last legs he’s out there repping uh Waste Management with the green glove the sponsorship the Greg Norman shirt uh
Also and then he goes out there and does his thing and Nick Taylor good God how clutch can you be I mean you think about what happened at the Canadian open this past year draining that putt Adam hadin getting tackled and then dude birded five of the last six holes he played
Um with and none of them were tapping putts like all of them were from Rage like like 10 feet or more back pretty it was incredible golf you had Sheffer you know burning 10 of the first 14 holes uh on Sunday to get right back in into it
Um super excited we can talk about the drunkness and stuff a little bit later but what did you think about the golf yeah I thought it was great you know obviously uh it was a long week with uh it’s not really weather but the frost delays they had for the most part
Everything was pushed back I didn’t really watch much until Sunday specifically you know probably the last couple of hours but yeah man I mean we’ve seen this from Nick Taylor he’s now won what four times uh super super clutch making long putts making a ton of
Birdies um every Sunday he and we saw it last year when he battled Scotty shuffler he played awesome last year just got beat by Scotty shuffler which that’s going to happened um yeah really fun week felt bad for Charlie hawman dude played so well uh like you said
This is probably one of his last really good opportunities and uh it was in an event that obviously means a lot to him he’s been sponsored by waste management for half a dozen years least maybe longer um but yeah really good really frustrating uh weekend for for us us
Scotty backers and I had uh I think at 100% Scotty on draftking so uh not a great finish for me yeah I went JT over Scotty that didn’t work out I mean JT was in it for a little bit I had the burns outright so I was hoping I at
Least had a little bit of a sweat for like the first time this [ __ ] year with but again another three-digit to one um winner uh I think I think uh he was 140 150 to one this week Nick Taylor was I’m looking forward to watching Nick
Taylor live um at the president Cup in Montreal like you know I’m going to be there with my Korean Garb on rooting for the international team I’ll be following the Koreans but I might have to follow some Canadians too because I I want to see n Taylor whoop some American ass
When it comes down to it for that for that for that President’s Cup um all right yeah I mean yeah it sucked at the now let’s talk about the bad luck of the PGA Tour because okay obviously it it’s the vibe at Waste Management this year seemed a little bit
Different um it seemed overly frat boyish um you know what I’m saying man like you you get that type of Riff Raff at this event but usually they’re sort of subjected into that bubble on 16 and 17 well what happened on Saturday was the PGA decided to be greedy I mean
Basically that’s what happened they let 500,000 people into the into the into to watch right you usually I don’t think they allow that many people in usually it’s like 200 300,000 something like that but they left they left almost a half half million people are in the
Gates I know it was like between 400 and 500,000 people so you think about it you say it’s 500,000 people and 2% are like the Rowdy stupid you know whatever that’s still 10,000 people right I mean that that’s 10,000 people that are acting like [ __ ] idiots you
Know what I’m saying they there’s too many people in there cut it off at like 250 you know what I’m saying and [ __ ] cut it off at 250 yeah you do that you get your 2% in there that [ __ ] [ __ ] up that’s 5,000 people they can all fit on 16 right I
Can just do their thing on 16 and lunch out and what we saw this year was all the drunkenness spreading around the entire course and that’s something we normally don’t see at this event and what happened was it’s because PJ wanted to make more money or whoever whoever is
Making money from ticket sales wanted to make more money I don’t know if it goes to the PJ I don’t know if it goes to the sponsor I don’t know that intricacies of that deal but all I know is they brought too many [ __ ] people into that course
At one time and when you do that and and everyone’s you know 25 to 35 years old and you got Boo there’s going to be a certain select part of that uh fan base that’s GNA just be annoying drunk [ __ ] up type people right and that’s what we
Saw this weekend it was just way more than usual uh and I feel bad for the PGA tour because what we saw Sunday was the best golf I’ve seen this year like it was it was Mesmerizing the storylines were there um you know Hoffman talking about Hoffman you’re talking about Nick
Taylor with the stones you know shefer 10 birdies and 14 holes all the storylines were there um and then on the news this morning the only thing I see about the Waste Management Open is they called it the was wasted management open and they kept showing that fat guy
Rolling down the [ __ ] hill without his shirt on and getting beers poured onto him I’m not gonna go you know I I can’t say that I have not been that guy at some point in time in my life right so it’s so it’s difficult for me
To not at a golf tournament you haven’t been that guy no I have not not at a golf tournament that is true um and and I blame it on too many [ __ ] people being there cut it down 250,000 people that’s enough dog that’s enough right yeah it’s hard what
Do you what you think it’s hard because like what you said like it’s it’s it’s a balance of like you want to keep all those people on the 16th pole like you would rather have them all there versus spread out but also like that’s huge for corporate Hospitality like 80% 90% of
Those seats are probably corporate Bo in Hospitality exactly again more greed it’s it’s super tough you know it was bad this year and like even before like I saw the videos of like Zack Johnson and Billy ball like yelling at fans and [ __ ] like that but like I was from the
Little that I saw watching on Sunday every role guys yelling guys having to back off like it yeah did you see the speed like he was like what the [ __ ] is going on he he was shook yeah I don’t know what they can do because this is obviously a huge
Event for them huge marketing event leading up to the Super Bowl um at least the golf was good like what you said field field was pretty good golf was good so they have that but yeah uh I I definitely expect changes to happen next year yeah but but again the bad luck the
And I said you know greed you know everyone knows that I don’t mind greed you know Michael Douglas greed is good I’m sort of in that sort of Bolt but when it comes to an individual corporate greed everyone hates corporate greed right everybody hates corporate greed
Right oh and that’s what it seemed like to me on Saturday it’s one of the stuff as many people in there make as much money as possible and [ __ ] the consequences basically that’s what it seemed like to me and that that’s definitely going to change they’re GNA
The least they can do is just limit the people to come in I think if they limit the people to come in they’ll be fine they’ll be and again it’s I mean there was so much bad press this week all the videos I mean people mean yeah like you
See it every year that like you know guys falling down or being carried out like all right it’s funny whatever it just seemed like every day you saw hundreds of videos of fans passed out people get well now they’re like pissing their pants like come on the
Guy bunker like you can’t have guys going onto the green running into the bunker doing sand angels like that’s like like I don’t understand like these kids like nowadays like I’m just gonna I don’t know I mean like we are we are 40 we are old uh it’s
It’s it’s tick to I was never like that I was never like an idiot like that probably because I was like you know I had something even me out Dum [ __ ] you know what I’m saying you would do dumb [ __ ] with your group of friends right
You wouldn’t do dumb [ __ ] would do that [ __ ] here yeah but like even if I’m out in public and and getting hammered like a game or something like that like I was able to hold my liquor I’m not like pissing in my pants and like rolling down [ __ ] Hills and the worst part
About that is you know the bad luck that happened with the PT tour again bad pressure from that even though it was the best Tournament of the year it was unbelievable golf if people watched it they would have been mesmerized I enjoyed the the the the two hours uh you
Know the I I watched the golf instead of the first half of the goddamn football game because the first half of the the Super Bowl wasn’t that great yeah it it was kind of weird uh because when Scotty went up by two so after he biry I guess
Was two three four five it seemed like that was it he was going to run away with it and then it kind of got good for a while and then Charlie opman went up by three right with a couple holes to go and at that point it seemed like it was
Pretty over because Scotty was missing all those short putts so uh yeah kind of at the end there Nick Taylor came out of nowhere as we said bir five with his last six fos including uh multiple playoff birdies just uh all Stones by Nick Taylor yeah it was it was great and
Like I said more of the bad luck that’s happening is you know on a week where Liv had a Liv had a great week I mean the leaderboard was sick going into going into the final round I mean you had you had you know Rah you had Bryson
Um you had Nan you had um no you didn’t have nean you had Ron Bryson um gu um DJ of course who ended up winning uh you know cam a couple Strokes back Kea a couple Strokes back I mean that leaderboard is packed uh six gol six
Golfers tied for the lead with you know three holes I don’t know anywhere from one to four holes left who the [ __ ] knows you know what I’m saying like who knows uh but uh I they had a great week and you know but and like but the thing is the golf was
Better at the PJ tour this week I mean even though I enjoyed watching live DJ’s my favorite player like if he’s on top of the leaderboard I’m G to watch you know what I’m saying I’m going to enjoy it I love watching Dustin Johnson he’s
My favorite golfer I’m G to watch him I thoroughly enjoyed him getting that Victory his shot on 17 was great making that putt with stones about 20 feet it was good stuff right um but man the the the the storyline on the PJ tour is way better um the golf was actually better
If you think about it I mean ROM’s out there shaking balls uh with like three holes left I haven’t seen that before literally a shake with like a ninee right uh and then but you see like Nick Taylor going out there just going crazy making all these shots and Hoffman
Didn’t win lose it Nick Taylor won it right uh and so it was just great golf but no one’s talking about it no one’s no one in the media no one in noral media is talking about it no one cares all they give a [ __ ] about is the drunk
Frat Boys at [ __ ] waste management and what a shame what a shame because this is the type of week where the PG Tor could really have stood up on themselves uh and made and and showed how good the product really [ __ ] is um and they didn’t they didn’t now one
Thing I will say I I do enjoy is when live and the PJ tour is on at the same time it’s actually great now hear me out guys I know a lot of you are anti- live and I understand that what if you have two TVs okay put put put the
Main PGA Tor on your main TV all with sound okay and then when it goes to commercial every three and a half minutes for five minutes you just go watch your other TV that’s has Liv which shows a [ __ ] ton more shots so you get
To watch guys hit a white ball with a stick and do amazing things with it which is what we want to see uh I know some people don’t want to see that on live but you know that’s basically why we’re fans of golf to to see guys do
Amazing [ __ ] with a stick in a ball right right and so what you could do is you could just mute uh the uh the uh PGA Tour when it’s on a commercial and keep keep live on mute the whole time don’t ever listen to the sound because the
Music’s [ __ ] awful and then just watch like watch like 30 40 golf shops while the commercial goes in and then go back to the PGA press the sound button you’re good to go it worked out well I loved it on Saturday beautiful it’s hard for me because like because we bet and
We play fs and we have no patience like even if I’m watching the broadcast I have shot tracker up you know and it’s usually at least two to three minutes ahead so it’s like yeah I’m in that like at the end where it’s down to like one
Or two golfers and like my team is now like when Alex noren’s done finishing t53 whatever I don’t have to track anymore I can turn off my phone and just watch so that part is definitely enjoyable um it’s just yeah it’s so hard to watch the broadcast when shots
Happened 8 minutes ago go you know yeah it’s awful but you know I mean the big thing now with Liv is it’s it’s opening up gambling in a lot of new States Virginia where I live they one of the new States just allowed live golf betting so uh it’s something that I
Might think they got to get stats man we get shot tracker we get strokes G data there and and and we yeah I mean I can I see the stats there’s there’s some dude out there who does the stats but it’s not Strokes gain it’s just your typical
Green and regulation yeah like I’m like that I’m just betting I’m pretty much just betting one maybe two guys are near the top who played well last week like I bet Brooks this week I could have bet Brayson probably but like that’s that’s just what it is I have not been on live
Yet maybe it might happen but anyways the PJ tour was better golf yes speak it was so good and they didn’t get any credit for it because of stupid drunk Fat Boys uh going crazy all right so before we move on to our listener League
Winner I just want to remind you guys to go ahead uh our our winner this week for the uh comment section on the YouTube remember what we’re doing now for this year every every week uh go into our YouTube comments page pick your winner put your DK handle on there I will pick
Uh whoever picks the closest to the winner uh out there nobody pick me Taylor this week and then you will join us in a Forman against Tambo me the listener League winner and yourself and this week it’ll be a fiveman because are going to add Ryan bar off now if you if
You’re the comment winner and you win the fiveman or fourman whatever we do in the week you get an automatic spot into our Tournament of Champions for in the Sony Open in 20125 for Mad prizes in cash so prizes in cash I know you guys want prizes and cash go come in pick
Your winner go on the YouTube channel pick your winner on the comments don’t forget the freaking um DK name because I had two people picked they didn’t have their DK name so the winner for this week is going to be at Aaron bonerts his DK handle is abone 12 he
Picked Sam Burns uh to win who I think finished uh in third no one picked Nick Taylor no one picked Charlie Alman so he went for the third and we got him so abone 12 congratulations I will be sending you a uh link for the fiveman here shortly now let’s go to The
Listener League winner The Listener League winner this week was John 371 I’m trying to see what his uh Avatar is it looks very familiar like Pacific Coast League something like that looks very familiar John congratulations he had 610 and a half points um he started off with Sam
Burns who was 16% owned finished in third place Scott and sheffler 30 37% owned finished in um what did he finish he finished in third as well Taylor Moore who sort of like this week the guy was a ball striking machine last week he was 1.75% owned uh he finished at 39th Kurt
Kama with a really nice week uh nice job 17% owned uh in the in the in the um fantasy gol JS listener League that’s solid work uh finished in eighth place Nick Taylor he had the winner 2.5% and he also had Billy horel Mr complainer 5.6% finished in 4 first Ryan
What do you think of the lineup yeah I mean obviously helps to have the winner there’s no doubt about that uh shocked by the Kitt on ownership I I certainly played some in that last week but uh you guys have a sharp League I guess it’s a
Very high number um I obviously yeah I think you needed Scotty this week you had to pair him with the right person but you had some options like I think you could could have won with Scotty Burns you could have won with Scotty spe you could have won with Scotty and
Um who else was left there Fala so you had a lot of options there um I don’t know where Billy ball came from that’s an interesting one was he just really cheap last week I think he was I think he was like sevens yeah must have been
And then Taylor Moore yeah I think uh a very solid team uh got some outlier finishes and again it helps to have the winner yeah winner and two-thirds will help there’s no doubt about that for sure all right so let’s get into this week um the PJ tour states of California
Uh this week or is in California this week as the best golfers in the world they had the Riviera Country Club for the Genesis Invitational this year the event is a 70 man field with top 50 in ties or making the cut or 10 Strokes within the lead after round two making
The cut as well all right per personally I’m still going to be you know treating this as a as a no cut event basically because it’s possible to like like 10 less than 10 golfers miss the cun I I I really don’t know what to do with that
Uh personally I am not gonna go think too hard I’m not gonna pick like you know Jim fures you know safe uh cut maker guys to fill out my lineup I’m just not going to do that so basically you know it’s going to go GBP let’s talk
About this for a little bit any change in you you’re more of a GB player I’m the cash guy you’re a good G player any changes in your strategy when something like this occurs because this is the first we’ve never seen this before no
This is a weird one I’m I’m I’m kind of with you for the most part you know I’m going to treat it like a no cut there are obviously going to be up to 20 guys who missed the cut I I doubt it’s going
To be 20 uh you might see eight 10 12 guys miss the cut there was a year where 68 golfers I think three years ago 68 golfers were within 10 Strokes of the lead like or four years truthfully I mean when you talk about gdps anyways
Like if you have a guy who makes the cut and finishes in 53rd you’re not going to win anyways right like you’re going to need the winner the guy in second and probably three others in the top 10 so I’m focused on that um I think from that
Perspective it’s the same I want I want the best players of the lowest ownership and the best birdie makers and then I’m gonna kind of Birdie makers yep so for cash what I’m doing uh as of now I have five golfers over $8,200 in my
I want as many of those top tiered you know great guys that I think can win I mean you got like wind Clark and Adam Scott in the low eights you got figa up there at 86 very very easy to do I want five guys that I think can win this
Event um and that’s basically what I’m doing in cash uh this week uh and I and you know I’m not re I’m hoping no one misses the cut but I’m not really putting that into my equation um I want upside uh you know I want to treat this
Like a no cut event all upside as many birdies as possible good form going in there get as many studs as you can and sit it out fill it out in your lineup I think that’s always going to be your best bet when it comes to these um
Elevated events as many studs as you could basically with the this type of scenario where you have the top 50 guys the top 70 guys whatever you can get five guys that you think you can win easy in your EAS yep easily and that’s just how and then that’s how I’m going
To go with cash um I’m going to that’s how I’m going to go about it you play a little bit more aggressive in these no cut events because you’re not worried about the cut now there is a little bit of cut I’ll probably have someone the Miss cut because that’s my luck right
But but I’m not gonna really think about it and you’ll see with my cash game cornerstones this week it’s a pretty nice Squad um all right so let’s go with some cop courses you know the size of the greens notwithstanding many people compare this course to Augusta correlations have been made between
Golfers that have perform well at Augusta golfers that perform well here um other than James Han hom and nean recently every golfer that has won this tournament in the last 30 years has finished inside the top 22 at the Masters at some point in their career
Also 19 of the last 32 winners at Riv have either won or came in second at Augusta at some point in the careers now you got you know Phil winning a bunch Bubba winning a bunch but still I mean like 19 of the last 32 winners finished
First or second uh at the at Augusta at some point in time uh you can also look at Tory Ponds South they both you kakuyu uh grass you could also look at Quail Hollow a lot of cross correlation between golfers that have played well I
Mean you think Max hom now he won both James Han he won both a couple other guys that play well on both JT plays well on both um that’s something that you could look at there now let’s get to the meat of the course River Area country club
7,350 yard par 71 four par 3es three par fivs the three par FES are three of the easiest holes on the course and there’s also the classic driveable Par Four at 10 which is a great Hole uh one of the best holes that you can watch and I’m
Sure all my guys are going to lay up even when the numbers Say Never lay up on that hole we can talk about that here um in a little bit now Riviera is known as one of the best and most challenging courses on tour off the te golfers are
Going to see tight Fairways many Fairway bunkers and challenging dog legs these Fairways are very tough to hit especially if the courses dry there will be a good amount of roll out if there’s no moisture on the grass and that of course shrinks the size of the fairways
Obviously if there is rain in the forecast we won’t see the massive rollouts which will make the course play longer there are trees but the tree line is usually far away from the Fairway so golfers will have to miss wildly to have trees blocking their approach shots
Unless unless there is a big dog L then trees could be in the away from the freaking Fairway uh the fairways and rough use kakuya grass this grass is rare in the United States and could cause many problems if the golfers you know hit it in the rough um especially
If they have little experience with it C grass very popular uh South Africa in South Africa Australia and Asian countries um now now though the rough won’t be too tall it is somewhat thick for the most part hitting it into this rough won’t be too big of a deal but
There will be instances where the kakuyu Ruff can grab and bury golf balls making approach shots much more difficult to control or to get any spin you get a lot of patchiness in kakuya where you know where with bermudo it’s all that beautiful grass all I mean even that’ll
Bring it down but there’s a lot more patchiness when it comes to it it’s not like Ry it’s not like the other ones when it comes to it so you never really know what you’re going to get with the LIE now the total opposite is when you
Land in the Fairway because these kakuya Fairways are almost like hitting it off a team they’re basically spongy they’re elevated you’re going to get some good contact the only issue is this course has a lot of you know undulations on the fairways so you’re going to have to deal
With fade and draw L approach play definitely I think you know the most important stat is nearly 70% of golfers that have finished top three here the last eight years have been inside the top 56 in stroke scan approach for the year they finished top three the greens
Ed POA and bent they’re going to be above average in square footage but the landing areas for birdie attempts will be tiny due to the fast firm undulating and multi-tiered aspects of the greens the greens here are usually one of the 10 toughest to hit on tour each year so
Short game going to be important along personally I think with length off the te the greens are going to be quick STI meter rating around 12 to 12.5 five they’re going to be surrounded by bunkers and false fronts of course the six hole has that bunker right in the
Middle of the [ __ ] green always good entertainment there uh one key number I saw uh was that nearly 80% of the golfers that finished top three here the last 15 years were inside the top 55 in Strokes gain Tia green for the year they finished top three this is definitely a
Big boy course now we said that about Tori and other courses but should be the one where we don’t get Triple digit winner that’s that’s I my take this week’s it’s going to be a favorite it’s going to be under 50 to one is going to
Win this event uh Ryan what are you looking for in golfers any specific strategies you’re gonna have I mean I think you got it pretty well it’s a it’s a big boy course uh for sure like you said um I don’t think and again it’s it’s it’s hard to say this
Considering what we’ve seen uh so far this year but I don’t think you’re going to see a surprise winner um might you get somebody who was 30 40 50 to one yeah there’s a lot of guys like that who we bet that we like but uh the guys who have won here historically
Have really been very well-rounded um often long off the tea um and have come in with pretty good form uh I’m definitely leaning more uh off the tea and putting this week than I normally am and that’s not a it’s not a very common combination I I do agree with you that
That iron play is important but I think a lot of guys can have good iron play here like you don’t need to be Colin morawa and Patrick GLE here it it it helps to be them but like I could see Windam Clark potentially leading this field in Strokes gained for well I mean
Don’t sleep on window I mean yeah but say like you think this year has been pretty [ __ ] good yeah yeah but you wouldn’t put him in the same r as like Colin Mor but yeah with Windam it’s like all right yeah he bombs it drafts really
Well he touch it really well but yeah I could see him leading this field in strok approach if he’s in the the Fairway if the wedge game sort of dialed so um yeah definitely more more off the te and putting for me um I want guys who have really played uh well recently
Specifically probably the last couple of weeks um and there is pretty pretty sticky course history here like very STI third stickiest yeah onour yeah I mean Xander maxom uh FAL obviously up there all the time even Justin Thomas has a lot of really good finishes and then you
Mentioned off the top with the LIF guys all the guys that one here at Lun Bubba one here three time and Phil one here twice so um yeah definitely and then Adam Scott we’ll talk about is also one here twice so um one thing you’re talking about four if you look at the
Last I don’t know 10 12 winners a lot of them like the majority of them have had a top 10 in their previous event prior to their win um at uh what the [ __ ] is this course Rivier so so you know I mean that that form is pretty pretty pretty
Important a lot of guys I would say the majority I would say about seven eight out of the 12 have had a top 10 uh the week the event prior to their win here so take a big that I think that’s what you’re seeing early with these betting
Cars including our own uh Adam Scott Cameron young Sam Burns Justin t like uh yeah abber who was second couple like that’s I think that’s where everyone’s going as well yeah Mak sense I mean my card already I already put it out on Twitter I’ll probably add one more here
Later but let’s get to this week’s event let’s go ahead and start in this 10K range before we talk about this I got a question for you are you worried about Victor hlin didn’t play well at Pebble withdrew because he said his game was not where he wanted it to be and he
Needed more work how are you going about hin this week are you playing him are you fting him what do you think his ownership is going to be I don’t know what I’m doing yet uh I would say on a scale of one to 10 I’m I’m probably worried a four about him
Okay um and again like yes the withdraw is something but he really wasn’t playing that well the last couple week uh times that we saw him and especially when you compare it to how how he ended the year right uh with all those wins and OB when the FedEx Cup so definitely
A little bit worried um anytime you get to a course like this where again you’re going to get inconsistent putting inconsistent lies like that doesn’t scream Victor problem to me but then you look at this and he’s got a fifth a fourth and a 20th in his three years um
I think he is a prototypical golfer who can play well on on any quotes much like Sky sheffler probably hitting way more greens than a normal guy now another thing is you know what we saw last at the end of last year is how improved the
Short game was um and that helped him to a lot of those victories and he gets rid of his short game coach I mean is there something going on with him should we really be worried or is this that nothing to it than that yeah probably
Probably more to it than that again um I think it’s hard when you have a year like that where you exceed everyone’s expectations including your own you’ve really except for winning on you know winning a major he’s accomplish pretty much everything he wants and needs to accomplish my biggest concern is yeah
Like the short game wasn’t good at at at Pebble um the approach game he hasn’t gained on approach in his last three events uh that is a massive red flag and he’s going to drive it well he’s going to make a bunch of bures but at this price when you’re comparing him to
Essentially Xander Rory and Scotty uh yeah probably not going to get there this week I’m gonna go and segue this a little bit instead of going into this 10K range you’re saying that you’re worried he’s lost three Strokes uh he’s lost Strokes with has approached three straight events yep just below him you
Look at Max hom yep he’s lost Strokes in two straight events y um you don’t really see that from you haven’t seen that from him in over a year um where he’s lost Strokes in back-to-back events also well you know he’s the guy who won this event before
You think of Riv you think of hom and then another guy that you think of Riv you think of is klin and klin has lost Strokes with his approaches in three straight events y so you got these three guys up here near the top who’s not playing as well as they probably would
Like right what are you doing with these three guys which one of these three is your favorite which one do you think would be the highest owned I think the highest so for the highest yeah I would say can’t lay and and and strictly because of the price
Right he’s what you say he’s gonna be the highest on yes I think so because he is $500 less than maxom almost $1,000 dollar less than Victor hlin if I had to pick one and then I would say probably next is going to be H and then Holland’s
Not going to be very high own uh if I had to pick one it would be Max hom like there are a ton of red flags here I think uh he got worn out at the end of the year from going from from playing the majors to playing the Ryder Cup then
He went to play in um you w foras yeah he went to and he won great he was playing great at that time but he went there went to the Bahamas went to the Sentry then came to the West Coast he’s just it’s been a lot um obviously the
Driver so really all the balls hasn’t been good the last couple events but we know what this event means to him and if he’s going to get up and fix it for a week it’s going to be here golf course that he knows golf course that means a
Lot to him so like I have no issue playing Max hom this week um but you play H over the other two I would yeah but at the price like can’t they for $500 less is is a lot yeah it is a lot all right so let’s get to this 10K range
Sort of made a little Sidetrack I enjoyed that though solid work who are you’re playing up here in the 10K range my friend yeah I mean it’s hard because we love Balan builds we talked about that we bet all the guys in the balance builds and I think we and
Everyone are going to make a lot of balanced builds but the pricing is so damn soft that it is very easy to get up here um if I had to pick one I’m not going to overthink it gonna keep flicking Scotty shler every time he tees
It up uh he’s played fine here like again no you know rate finishes he’s gone what 30 207 12 right so again probably a floor of about 10th for eighth considering how’s playing right now obviously the ball striking is still amazing as we saw last week um yes the
Shortcuts came up to bite him again and that’s that’s always going to be a concern but um in terms of range of outcomes he is way safer than Rory and probably has more upside than R so it would be Scotty uh CER number one if I
Play anybody over 10K this week I agree with the floor uh I think the floor Scotty is safer uh I don’t know about the upside I mean Rory’s play played well year before in the past um you know he’s had he didn’t have his best week he
Started off pretty strong uh when he came out last but then you know sort of [ __ ] the bed as the week went on um I don’t know I mean Rory played well overseas just just a month ago um I think it’s definitely more of a risky
Play but you’re also going to get less ownership I would I would expect now we’ll see um I mean I’m not the ownership Guru last week it was like 3734 something like that between JT and sheer and stuff like that you know of the two highest um I don’t think it’s
Going to be that close I think sheffler should be a lot more than Rory and I you know I can I could see the argument going Rory over Sheffer this week especially if it’s half the ownership um I you that’s something the only thing that I yeah the only thing that I would
Say there is so I think L’s gonna be higher than hin Xander and H most likely uh I guess people could steam H just because of the course history but I would expect him I would expect Rory H still but he people may overreact a little bit to PPP Beach and Rory was
Like last close to last but he was I mean he was first round leader for a while he was playing fine just he just kind of lost it and again the weather was so shitty the event was so shitty like I’m really not worried about Pebble
At all me neither um I just I would just take the safety with Scotty if I’m paying almost 12K for a go understood uh now uh let’s move on uh I’m I I think I’m I haven’t decided I’m gonna play sheff or Rory um and probably going to
Play Xander I mean the guy is just at that price too it’s it’s so I mean you’re right if you start if you just got rid of the top two guys and you just started with Xander I mean you can make you can make any [ __ ] type of lineup
You want like anything it wouldn’t matter uh but so so I mean that that’s I’m really interested in what the ownership’s going to be um here like if you see havin if you see like Scotty at 35 Rory at 18 Xander at 22 and havin at
13 you might have to go might have to go with big dig Vic you know I I you know when these guys are this good and they’re at this level um you know picking the lowest own is not the worst strategy in the world right this is not
It is not the worst strategy in the world let’s move to this 9k range I’m starting all my cash game cornerstones right here I’m not going home yeah uh which would probably be most people’s first thought of my cash corner I’m not going candley uh just because game’s not
There for me uh their recent form just hasn’t been good enough I’m starting with a guy who’s never played this damn course in his life very rare for me I I I don’t normally do this and he finally said he told Jason soble how to pronounce his name for real it’s oberd
All right Ludwig oberd all right so that that’s like I guess official now um and that’s what I’m going for my first for my first uh for My First Cash kid Cornerstone the reason I like him is he has three different drives small cut small F small cut small draw straight
Down the middle yeah that that that’s him that’s him off the te right uh he he can shape the ball off the team his iron game has been a little bit better um the guy’s a stub this course should suit him to the Max uh he’s not horrible hold on
Let me take a peek before I say something stupid no not horrible not he’s not horrible not horrible around the greens pretty good you know top top third in this field uh you know when it comes down to it it’s not horrible guy makes a ton of birdies crushes par five
Give me everything O’s got First Cash G Corner Stone second cash G Cornerstone gonna be spe I’m GNA ride speed if they’re gonna keep him this cheap with the way he’s playing I’m just gonna I’m roster him the cash week just give me just give me did you change that
What not speed JT sorry did you change that JT is what I meant not speed not speed but speeded is not a cash game play speed is never a cash game Corner start but uh uh I think the last time I used him might have been a pebble I
Think he missed the cut the one year where like used him as a cash Cornerstone at Pebble anyways um I’m going with JT sorry JT is my second cash K Cornerstone cheap you know game is trending way upwards a win is coming for him I’m betting him [ __ ] every week
Till he wins so 21 money’s already on him first bet JT he’s gonna win something at least until by Quail right by by the Wells Fargo he’s gonna win so you got like eight events just B him in all of them he’s gonna win one of them I
That’s just the way it’s gonna be um now when it comes to gpps um I I’m more it seems like the guy right I mean the iron play the way he plays well here um his familiarity with you know this type of grass both kuuya and the PO greens doesn’t mean it’s GNA
Putt well but at least he knows you know think about people put shitty up PO all the time uh so that you know gives shitty Putters maybe a little bit of a little bit of a a nudge up when it comes to these type of events who are you like
In this range yeah so look nothing bad to say about aberg and Justin Thomas they are probably the two clear best plays in here I mean aberg is I mean arguably a top five player in the world and he’s 9200 like I I honestly I love see a way that I’m not
Playing him in like every major lineup that I have so but you can play them all like you have to fade somebody so if I had to pick somebody to fade the issue here right is like when I look at form and and history and stats and sort of
Whatever model I’ve put together Klay and speed are so far over both everybody else that I just probably can’t get there right so so far below everybody else yeah yeah below way below Thomas W look like just just yeah they don’t rate out well which leads me to the option
That either a I’m probably jumping up to morala then I think he has great gpp play this week uh or even jumping all the way up to maxom if I need to uh or dropping down so I will probably not play Justin thamos but I have nothing
Bad to say about him I just know that if I’m playing him with aberer with one of the 8K guys that we’re going to talk about next it’s just that’s a lot of chocolate you’re playing together and you got to find some spots to get different akk Reigns I got two more cash
Game cornerstones to fill it out first one’s going to be Windam Clark over at $8,300 really one bad round uh almost dis season right I mean right which was Sunday uh he did not play well in the fourth round dropped back a bunch but I’m not worried about that the guy’s
Been play unbelievable golf uh he’s long off the he could putt his ass off his short game is [ __ ] solid his irons have been improving for a while really really like Windam Clark he’s going to be my third cash game Cornerstone this week um my final cash game Cornerstone is going to
Be Adam Scott who crazily enough is number one and birdies are better gained in this field in the last 50 rounds now granted he plays a lot of he’s been playing a lot of shittier field tournaments right compared to what he has in the past uh so that could be one
Of the reasons why you know he’s been getting so many more birdies but the guys been play good golf like you said a winner here in the past I really liked this final round on Sunday played exceptional um so I’m going to go ahead with that solid T to Green game with the
Length off the te with the birdie prowess with solid proximity or efficiency from 450 to 500 yards which is going to be a good percentage of your par Force give me Adam Scott so my four cash game cornerstones this week are going to be oberg at 9200 JT at 9100 Windam Clark at
8300 Adam Scott at 8200 that still leaves I think over $155,000 because I’ll just give it to you my fifth cash G play is in this AK range as well and it’s SE it’s Thea the gu’s again he’s sort of a streaky guy right when he’s playing hot you sort of
Want to like ride him uh and the guy he plays well he’s played well on this course solid finish uh last year um again good amount of birdies not short off the tea um really good on those longer par fours uh give me sigala I
Like him in gpps as well um and then I I think I might go to Tom Tom’s got a new caddy this week he’s going with web’s new caddy Paul to F story always uh a veteran out there who knows his [ __ ] who really can read putts very very well um
And you know is sort of giving me a little bit of Hope for Tom to get better you’ve seen glimpses the last couple of times he’s been out I know he’s a little bit shorter not your typical type of golfer that would farewell at this event
But I just have a feeling uh about him so I’m gonna go with Tom and gpp P what do you think pretty aligned here so I’m I’m not a big uh stats modeler and that sort of thing but in honor of coming on this podcast I did put something
Together today and and again I probably weigh course history a little bit more than I normally would but you know it’s sticky course history so in that model Windam Clark was number five overall right so when you talk about a player that’s obviously in great form just won
Had an awesome year fits the golf course won a major just down the road from here uh I think number five at that price he is probably the best value on the board um I think this week number four in that model was Scotty schuffler again probably lower than he normally would be
But fine number three was Xander number two was Max hom with the course history number one was Adam Scott so I had to bet Adam Scott this week I’m going to play a lot of Adam Scott he has been awesome he played in Australia he played
In Europe uh just a consistent top 10 machine uh staffs have been great uh probably I think he finished n last week would have been higher but he messed up uh on Sunday on number 17 so bit have been a top five finish um obviously he’s
W here twice so he’s a fantastic play um you didn’t mention Cameron young I think everybody has bet Cameron young close to Cameron young this week he is uh perfect course fit here has done well here both times uh I think he’s an awesome play so
Like if I had to pick three it would be those three young Clark and uh and Scott but I am committed to Tony T now at this event he is going to win here at some point uh maybe I thought he was yeah I forgot he was up there definitely great
And and and he’s 89 at top of this running he is going to get squeezed you have Burns and sahit and Camy young all lower than him right you have JT and ABR above him so probably fow’s best course or second best course on tour and he’s
Goingon to be the guy who best course probably next week yeah 12 133% own like I already bet him uh I love fow this week so like if I was balanced you can throw in a final you can throw a cam young and maybe avoid a and Thomas so
You can’t play them all uh you got a balance up the other ship this week I’m not big on young I need I need a I need more long irons he’s just he’s so bad for like 175 and 10 but like once he I know he does but like it’s just been
Recently but once he gets once he’s been like 175 and above or the majority of his of his shots in like last week um he plays pretty well uh because comparatively his long isons are very very solid compared to You Know Field average uh but the rest of his irons
Really suck balls um so a little bit worried about that worried about him not being great around the green um I loved him last week I I had 30% of him last week uh I think he was only like six seven eight% owned um I think I might
Avoid him this week at like 12 13 14 15% on um probably going to be higher so I mean he’s not a bad piece if you’re going to fate I just like when you think about him just on a high level he’s he’s obviously immensely talented and and he
Is in that same mold as as Rong and DJ right like that’s the type of player he is and yeah they won here so I think that’s the type of player he could be yeah I wouldn’t say that’s the type of player he is quite yet that’s the type
Of player he could be uh I don’t think he’s there yet I we’ll see he’s just been so up and down here recently uh that I’m only going to pick and choose my spots when I play him he’s not going to be a regular guy for me week in and
Week out unless he starts showing me more [ __ ] if he plays like he did last week this week well then you know I gotta rethink maybe a little bit um but that’s how I’m going about it I don’t think I want to play uh C I think he’s
Going to be a fade for me um which you know hopefully pans out we’ll see my Fades of the week have been pretty strong this year added that to the gums Corner article I don’t think I’ve had a guy finish uh ins the top 29 and it’s all
8,500 and above golfers so not bad so we’ll see how it goes um anybody else in the AK range no I look I mean they’re all good plays I think you just have to pick your ownership spots here um I think the only one that I don’t really like is is
Probably Fleetwood and it’s it’s strictly a price play I just think in this field he’s he’s just very expensive there I think you y I think you should be right around where Willie Z is yeah um but go ahead you go the 7K range yeah this is a very interesting range because
Again how people are going to build out their lineups with the nines and the eights I think uh a lot of the sevens are going to be squeezed I don’t like there may only be two or three guys here that it’s weird because there’s not that
Many 7K golfers so I think it’s GNA be yeah like there’s probably gonna be three guys here that are over double digits obviously one is gonna be zotus um I would say number two is going to be B Connor and then could be Nick Taylor after the win could be massama just
Because you’re not used to seeing down here but like I think I think those are the only guys that are really going to have a ton of ownership so I think this is a great spot where you can just make easy pivots at a lower ownership like
You don’t play zot tourus you flick Keegan Bradley or you flick Nikolai right for the same yeah I was thinking hoard he’s he’s a great fit obviously hasn’t played here but he’s a great fit here um in great form U I think both him and Keegan are fine pivots if you go
Down to where Cory Connor is uh and Nick Taylor are like I don’t know you could play Denny McCarthy who seems like a bad course fit but he good as them and he’s gonna be yeah straa um there’s just a lot of guys like I mean Harris English
Like yeah well last week yes he’s he’s gonna be 4% 5% owned and I could see Harris inler finishing fifth here like I just see if there’s a spot to pick low owned guys I would rather do it in the 7K range than down a 6K range I like
That idea I like that a lot uh because I’m not the biggest fan of Connors and I’ve heard a lot about him he just hasn’t done enough for me here recently uh and I’ve heard a lot about him I probably want to go with C Davis instead
Um over over Connors Umi seems too cheap you got Chris Kirk at $7,500 you know who just won like a month ago right you know look Play Kirk play Haron like these are guys that the Lefty I know Harmon hasn’t played well here in the past but obviously this seems like new
Haron right after winning a [ __ ] major right so you know the left-handers do freaking well at this course you know maybe at 6% ownership you can get in to go off right I think you’re 100% correct this 7K range is where you make your differences and where you make your
Stand I like that a lot but I’m still gonna play wiy all right I mean 50 to one of five places each way I’m gonna go make that bet but you can’t play him if you’re clicking Justin Thomas Wham Clark and Adam Scott like you can’t play him
With that group you would play him in a Scotty sheffler Colin morawa te right like yes that would make I agree yeah I agree um all right go ahead once you take us down to the 6K range my my friend there’s a lot of good stuff here
So I’ll just go through again I’ll start with the guys who I think are going to beat moaned uh I assume your final cash game Cornerstone is Loop list I think he will be one no he’s not I have my four already oh good not list well if you WRA
It out with yeah I think list is gonna be oh my last play I’ll tell you it’s Taylor Moore it’s Taylor Moore yeah so uh I think list will probably be well he’ll probably be second most I think Tom hoki will be the most popular I
Think the form he’s in he’s played well here makes a lot of bures I had him on my H qualifier think K’s gonna be the own I don’t I don’t I I feel like oie is just that 200 makes a difference when you make it teams um I hope you’re right
I love Kama expected him to be like every betting card including mine yeah I like Kama as well I think yeah I think he’ll be a very popular long shot I will say of these guys the one that is highest in my model which um I think
When you think about it is not surprising because I weighed putting and off the tea game Taylor Montgomery uh he missed the cut here on the number last year but putted really well and game Strokes off the te he lost like four strokes around the r um hopefully he
Fixes it maybe not but that doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen again he again played really well last week because he was on my team he was tied for 10th uh after three rounds and then just ejected in the fourth round um he is very high
In my model he’s going to be a fraction of the ownership of hogi Kama by far my favorite gppp play down here um and then number two for me again doesn’t fit the mold here but has become a better utter than we’re accustomed to has added
Distance off the tea and I think think is just underrated for the player that he is is Grio uh does not scream like a Grio course but at 6,900 like I could see him going out and being first round leader shooting 8 under right um I think
He shot 8 under on on on on Sunday yesterday um but yeah Grio and Montgomery are by far my favorite gbb plates down here I like kittama I’m gonna go with a chalk over there I might play a little baz out uh you know with a
Good iron game and coming off you know uh a L’s purse at least a couple of weeks ago yeah you know um and then I Taylor Mo I like a lot the stats won’t really look great uh I he’s like 68th I ranked 68th out of 70 maybe even 6 yeah
68 out of 69 no 60 out of 70 in by model but man last week he was dialed the [ __ ] in right I mean like what did he G like eight Strokes of his irons like the dude was just pin seeking like everything it was really really uh impressive stuff
And I’m hoping that it happens again um so as of now he’s the guy kyama is you saw you saw where he was driving it last week I I did not see too much of K all over the place all over yeah but he is is is from Vegas
Went to unov he still lives out there used to Desert Golf used to wide Fairways you just can’t get away with that here like if you’re spraying it here like I could see him getting in some trouble here and again I like kittama but if he’s the guy who’s going
To be 15% owned at 6,900 I’d rather go to Montgomery who’s gonna be six for silent I I like that I like that very very much um anybody else you want to talk about what about tiger what are we doing with ti I mean he played all four rounds in the
Bahamas you know that he’s been practicing his ass off since then and he looked somewhat okay played well here last year for a couple rounds uh obviously made the cut last year I think he’ll make the cut I I don’t think that’s an issue my concern with tiger is
Again and you talk about DFS scoring is he the guy who’s going to make nine birdies in a round the answer is no right he he’s not as long as he was he’s he’s not as aggressive at the IR short game isn’t as good as it was so yeah
Could he finish tied for 30th probably but um I just don’t I don’t see the need to go down here and again if I did I mean I would probably probably go back to Kevin U or I would just ride Charlie Hoffman one more week he’s had a couple
Good weeks here and obviously very good form and just hope that that carries over at least for a couple of rounds because that’s a guy who can shoot nine on yeah that guy definitely goes straight for the pin yeah every time it’s pretty fun to watch him play I do
Have to admit that um all right so how about some bets why don’t you go you you got a card yet yep just just four four in the middle like we talked about uh I started at 33 uh with Tony down Adam Scott at 45 Cameron young at 45 and wind
Clark at 55 with six places which was a get because he probably should have been about 28 to one but who was that last one wind Clark at 55 to one oh wow that is crazy so I places too yeah yeah that’s pretty good so I have
Um you know what I totally forgot what my card was good thing I put it on Twitter probably the cornerstones right it’s not horrible all right so uh JT 20 to1 uh willly Z 50 to1 with five places uh Dei 75 to1 five places kittama 100 to1 five places I’m probably gonna add
One more under 50 to one by the time the event starts there you go always one and done you know one and done I’m think it’s seah or Adam Scott actually I just used Adam Scott at one of my links maybe yeah I would definitely go to the mid-range here even
Though you know it’s an elevated event like you want a good player but like you talked about all those guys in that range I think have a legit shot to win um I I don’t know who I’ve used but no room yeah nobody really in this middle R
I would say I’m probably going to use uh Cameron young this week but Clark Scott phenow you know it’s going to be in that range for sure all right sounds good anything you want to plug there Mr bar off before we get out of here nope just
Uh yeah glad I could join in about this week hopefully we can uh win some [ __ ] money and uh not not get any uh rain outs that would be nice one give me some good weather give me like you know you know give me some good

When you promote an event as a four day pissup for college kids many who are not of legal drinking age what the fuck do you expect to happen.
The only reason they have a cut is so Tiger only has to embarrass himself for 2 days.
Willy Z Murf2384. My theory is they had to let people in with Friday passes and Saturday passes because it was both rounds and they couldn't handle the crowd. Also heard they weren't scanning tickets at one point.
