Caught some of these between Dallas. Everyone is sweating buckets & the clay is slow af. All the matches went 3 sets except for the last one where Tyrant went on a tear. Hanfmann was NOT playing around after dropping that battle of a first set. Raised his level to sweep the 2nd set tiebreak by becoming super aggressive & never looked back. Then swept the third set with a breadstick. Shame that match didn't have the good cameras (5-7 7-6 6-1). Shortzman is Diegone. Completely outplayed. Too defensive with his outmoded gameplay, not powerful enough, too old now, & way too short to survive today.
Today ,clay and hard court play the same. Can’t really tell the difference.

Schwartzman plays too far behind the baseline and his flatter strokes allow his opponents to play on the baseline – giving them an advantage. He needs to hit harder and with more spin to make his game effective again. Maybe he should switch to a 100 sq. in racquet with more power and more spin thanks to its more open string pattern?

Tournament organizers should be ashamed that they put ticket prices at such a level where you have less than 10 people watching the match on the biggest court, if it was me I would lower the prices to daily pass: 10 euros, you would get 500 people minimum and dont get me started about all the water and food you could sell them and the atmosphere would be on another level.
It’s the class court season, a lot of players will come out of nowhere and win matches. And then get back to nowhere as the clay court season ends.
What's the point of playing a tournament in a small city like Cordoba if there's a big tournament in Buenos Aires the next week? The stands are empty.
