Um to hit these long odds um and like at a fairly consistent rate when it’s it’s truly uh an absolute lottery ticket I know um you know there were a lot of text back and forth but um you know you sent out a golf betting outright it is
Really dumb like it’s just stupid um not that long ago it really is and especially this year has has absolutely um shown that well I’ve seen it too because like I’ve always been into college basketball betting but I’ve gotten more into it this year and like
We made on TS we made like a betting site for basketball so I was like okay I’m really G to take college basketball betting like seriously this year and you win and you lose in college basketball of course but like I feel like most games play out the way that I expect
Them to play out like you may win the bet you may lose the bet but it like goes how you expect it to go versus golf you can do all the research you can feel like you know everything that’s going to happen and then halfway through Thursday

Know supporter of the PJ tour PGA dick rider as as some might call me like the PGA Tour has taken a hit this year and I know only like two guys left but these fields and these elevated events just they’re not the same as they used to be
At all and I think this week really shows it and I guess this is kind of just what the PGA Tour is right now but if you don’t have three or four bigname guys showing up it’s just doesn’t feel the same and the mid-range of the PGA Tour is just
Kind of like [ __ ] it’s just not the same as it used to be and the fact that Waste Management can’t get that grade of a field it’s just odd to me like how this season has kind of played out because none of the events I truly
Looked at the board and I was like this is unbelievable yeah and I think and I talked about it too where like the Signature Events just haven’t been won by like Signature Players and it’s kind of started to and it’s built I mean it happened last year was like I think we
Went into the Signature Events thinking like oh all the best players are going to be here battle top of the board every week then we got guys like Kurt winning and and Wy won last year before he was you know the windy that he is now at
Wells Fargo and then this year we get Chris Kirk winning we get uh the semi 54 hole Pebble which kind of like killed the vibe there which I think like I was excited for that I think people were excited for it it was trending in a right direction and then the weather
Kind of ruined that uh then this waste field Falls like a terrible POS like the tour has to know when they set up the schedule that waste is going to get harmed by like the way this is set up I they probably hop that guys like Vic and
Xander would play uh but yeah I think it’s been uh mediocre start to the PJ tour year like it’s been for us like the die hards watching Pavone and stuff like that like like we love that but I think for the fan uh there hasn’t quite been
That event that draws people in but uh we got Genesis coming up we got the Florida swing players like that’s when I think golf season really kicks off but uh yeah it hasn’t it hasn’t been the best so far yeah and again it’s not the PGA tour’s fault um that Pebble had a
Historic storm where there are like blackouts all over the country like that’s it’s you know a question is whether or not it should be played that time and I don’t think it should be but they did get hit with absolutely um terrible weather and Pebble Saturday was
Sick like it was awesome like I was like I’m not doing anything this afternoon I’m just going to get a 12pack of Stellas and drink and watch golf and it was awesome like I genuinely enjoy Pebble and seeing Wendy do what he was doing and you know I really like the CBS
Broadcast like the commentators not like the commercials and everything but pebble is just sick like I really enjoy watching it um on TV they did the right thing this year making it elevated but they just they they got to figure out the weather and like many people have
Said pebble is one of the PGA tour’s best assets um I know last year we talked about it like one of your most viewed previews was Pebble Beach like it brings more people in than bill or Wells Fargo or Memorial like it’s it has a different kind of cache and they did the
Right thing and if they had decent weather on Sunday it would have been an unbelievable finish um in my opinion but unfortunately he can’t control the weather yeah and I think the question like everybody has and we you know were following the weather almost to the like
Week before we knew there was going to be crazy weather obviously the PJ tour is playing paying close attention to that uh the fact that they kind of I don’t know let this happened like I I totally agree that the weather is out of their control but how they went into the
Week and how they could possibly set up uh the play so that maybe they get it in on Saturday or maybe they just kind of play non-stop starting on Thursday you know it would have been complicated but if they really were like desperate to get 72 holes and I think they could have
Found a way um but yeah so we’ve we’ve texted about this what is your stance on the Wy wi like I’m not saying it like it counts 100% like it counts even more because like Wendy is a winner so I’m not if he was like a non-winner and this
Was his first win I might hold it against him a little bit more but jerse and I were talking about like the guy who shoots 60 shoots Sho 61 62 like I think JT at AMX is an example of it that guy who goes low in the third round like
It’s tough to come back and win in the final round so I don’t think he wins but what’s your like take on it who do you think it’s kind of tough because I’m biased in a sense of I didn’t think Windham Clark was gonna win this year
Like I definitely thought he was gonna have a down year and I thought he had a really unbelievable three Monon stretch and that would be it um so it’s kind of tough because I didn’t see that round in him um but I mean at the end of the day it’s just such an
Unforeseen thing to happen to shoot 60 at Pebble and have that type of weather happen on Sunday that it’s just there’s not going to be any event like that or any winner you can compare it to we all know it’s very tough to back up
Um you know a low round like that I think it would have been an epic final round between him and ludvig just absolutely nuking pone like I I genuinely think Pavone is squarely in the mix down to the last hole he’s just a generational ball strike I think
Pavone’s in the mix on it would have been awesome on Sunday and that it sucks that we’re robbed of that um but I I can’t talk [ __ ] about Wendy’s win just because I was dead wrong about him um so it would kind of be disingenuous but I
Don’t no if he wins on Sunday like I think it would have been very very tough and I think like I genuinely think though that I I don’t think he would have won but also the reason I have no problem giving him the win is just

That I really liked him two summers ago and and thought invented him like I invented him like I just thought he was like you know this is like a talented guy like a fun guy we all have our guys we like to bet at 100 to one like we all
Have those guys um and he was my guy for the summer and then bet him a few times like bet him at Valar he played well and I was kind of like yeah whatever like it’s not really that you know big of a deal like okay he’s playing a little bit
Better and to not be on either of those wins not that I was close or anything and then to like go full turn and be like no he actually sucks now that he won a US Open and then he wins Pebble at like 90 it’s just like kind of a weird
Relationship but in true all honesty I think he is top three PGA Tour player I would love to like get beers and like post up with like he’s a bro he’s a chill guy him on sub subpar I listen to it on Tu I’m like I love this guy like
He is the man like he’s Bros bro like knows how to talk obviously sick at golf but he’s just someone I’d like to like chill and like do some beers with um so it’s upsetting to me um that I haven’t cashed in on any of his wi what I was

Not you know a Bish Paradise so but the no commercials is sick and again that is you know not a normal thing for any sort of program you know golf sports or not like you have to have commercials but for ever reason they don’t um they have

Its own would be sick like if it was just in the fall swing and there wasn’t any PGA Tour golf on and there was just live I would enjoy watching it but when it’s directly going up against PGA Tour events and a bunch of events are overseas and overnight and you can’t
Even watch them that’s where it’s just like it was the perfect scenario on Sunday but if that’s all it’s going to take for it to be a sick viewing experience that all these people watch that’s just tough because you’re never going to have that um scenario a lot
Yeah and I’ll say one other thing that I apparently they been doing this later in last year but it definitely wasn’t like this when I was originally watching Liv like they have the final couple groups now going off of one instead of doing the shotgun for that which helps a lot

I think it’ll do fine this week like the field being so bad at waste and like being in Vegas for the Super Bowl like I think they’ll be some like hype behind it but yeah as soon as they go overseas start playing in Asia start playing all over the place
It’s going to lose some of that uh Thunder but for me it’s like and I was talking to Jers about this where yeah pebble’s this historic like famous you know track and winning at Pebble means something but when you see bigname players battling down the stretch whether it’s Liv myoba or whatever it’s

Kevin Stadler to get some random I couldn’t tell you one thing about what Kevin St Kevin Stadler is as a golfer but uh he’s the only like random guy who’s won in the last decade uh I definitely prefer distance here uh given like you back to
2013 like all but two guys were top 30 on the weekend distance so you don’t have to be the number one bomber but you got to have some distance here I we have seen guys like web win but he hit like every Fairways so if you are going to
Kind of fade the bomber narrative then you need guys who are just drilling Fairways um but yeah ball Strikers the story kind of speaks for itself with the major Champion success like overlap and then you add in the crowd and I think like part of it’s the course but part of
It’s genuinely the crowd like you got have some some Stones uh in my opinion to to play good in this event so uh a little bit of Strokes gained of Vibes and and narrative in play this week for sure yeah no I I actually I heard you
Were talking about it on your pod with jur like I think it makes losers less likely to win a little bit here like you know like Ben on like Ben on if he’s going to break through and get his first PJ tour win Sony Open with like 40 people in attendance like in
January like that’s the spot to pick it off like it’s hard to get your first um PGA Tour win um if you’re not super established as the first so I like that take I like the me like and even Scotty obviously this was his first win yeah
But he had had that rder cup display in the fall he had mixed in M like people knew Scotty was going to do big things on the PJ T which I I guess would we’ll talk about Ben on probably in more detail but like he’s been on the PJ tour
For a while like he could win he could win a couple times like he could have a fine career but if you are looking for that guy OE is an example like I really like OE this week is he a future like major stud or is he just a medium player
Because if he’s a future major Stud I’m fine playing him on debut even though I prefer guys who are who have played here before or is he not like it’s but how would you know that’s like the you got to think about that when look at the like debut or Guys Without course
History minu is another example like is Mino a future like is his name when you see Mino on the winners list of Waste Management go oh that makes sense because he’s won the open you know into the other stuff I think it’s fun to to kind of think about with the guys who
Don’t have course history or younger like that’s an approach I think you gotta think about too as some like I’m No it’s it’s definitely I’m definitely betting some losers this week so it it’s tough but um I’m down I I like that narrative Scotty 5 to one you know the
Ball striking has been unbelievable and he can actually putt here um so normally most weeks um I don’t think Scotty’s gonna win um I could see it this week and you know hot take alert I’m I’m I could see Scotty winning here just because he putts so well um and one of
The only places he puted well and like you said he’s been hitting good putts the data just hasn’t been showing it well and yeah as he’s famously said he is a good I think he’s actually given up on that narrative he’s kind of been in interview saying that I’m a bad putter
So that’s kind of nice to hear like he accepted that it wasn’t uh the the stats are real and they weren’t make believe but my hot take this week is I would be more surprised if Scotty wins than if JT wins that’s my hot take week like I
Think I think JT would a if J JT is my number one pick I’m most likely to win basically this week if I was if I was ranking the field I’m not betting him but that’s because he’s below 20 to1 I’ve retired but that’s my yeah JT I bet
Him last week I was tracking him pretty hard played great ball striking is really good I’ve done the JT at waste like everyone’s done it and I one it’s really tough to bet a guy at 10 to one and you know it has to be you know a
Perfect situation which I think it kind of is for JT but I and I tweeted it earlier in this week I just know he’s going to hit the ball unbelievable and lose a stroke putting and finish fin T4 like that is my thought for him this
Week and if I’m really going to nut up and bet all that money on one person I gotta trust you with the flat stick and I just really don’t but massive massive fomo on JT I would be upset if he won this week like that would really make me sad after being on
Him last week um and him being like extremely popular at 10 to one um that would that would make me upset yeah and I totally agree like not that I’m a good top of the board better I think the one time I went top of the board to be fair
The one time I went top of the board last year was for Scotty at Memorial and he put on the greatest ball striking performance in the history of golf and didn’t win so so when I have gone there it’s worked out once but I totally agree
That like you can’t have a guy where there’s a question mark about like one of his Strokes gained categories like can he gain in this category if you think the answer is not like 1,00% yes across the board then going to the top of the board it doesn’t make sense and
That’s even probably more true and we just look at the BJ tour this year like who deserves to be 10 to one like they’re just not converting at all um but that’s why like when I say JT to me is more likely to win than Scotty is because I actually trust even though
Scotty’s done it here before I trust JT to gain putting more than I do Scotty like JT’s putted well here JT’s putted well in four of his last six starts it’s on the POA at Pebble like he didn’t put well so that’s why I was kind of off of
Him last week but I think he could easily gained putting here he gained 1.4 AMX like you’re I like it but for what I was going to say was the reason I’m also out is and this isn’t a good reason to be out but this is just true like he was
Like 20 to one a couple weeks ago for like waste because they’ve had the waste odds forever I think he might have even been like 253 to one like a while ago and it’s just like I’m too stubborn to bet a guy at 10 to1 when he was 30 to1
Like two weeks ago yeah I never even thought about betting waste Futures that was definitely a dumb thing because I would have loved a Burns and JT ticket this week um at Great numbers and you know you easily could have just kind of looked at the schedule looked at the
Commitments and and made those so that’s upsetting to me I started out you know Max and I have kind of a a rocky relationship you know we’re kind of boys he’s kind of owned me on Twitter I saw him at an insurance event but was too scared to go
Say hi to him I think he’s gonna win a major this year like I bet him like 700 bucks on him to start the year something seems a little bit off with him right now and he does have some decent results here and he definitely is
The type of player that could win here um but I’m just gonna wait I don’t know when I’m GNA bet him next but again I just don’t want to go top of the board this week to be honest and I just think his game is a little shaky right now
Yeah and last week he didn’t have his caddy we didn’t know that going in like yeah Max without his caddy it’s that’s a no for me every single time I didn’t know that ahead of time so I still bet him if I would have known that would not
Have bet him uh but so I kind of give him a pass a little bit on last week and I don’t hold his stats against him too much because like Grinder’s worth Strokes gained to me like I think he matters that much but yeah Max is in
That mode right now CU he’s always on the stream like you see Max play all the time he’s always like fidgeting with his practice swing like even when he’s putting he’s like over there like doing full swings on the side of the green like something’s a little off with him
