Merry Christmas I just wanted to kind of highlight our new Trail in the Nevada side of Tahoe so behind me here we have our new Stinger reroute so this kind of bypasses the last mile of the old kingsberry Stinger Trail the old trail would have ended at the Chimney Rock
Neighborhood and now it ends at the bottom of sewer plant road on the Nevada side in zeph Cove um super close to Highway 50 so the access is a lot better um and this project was complet by Tamba um with a combination of machine built and handbuilt Trail work this Trail also
Was able to give projects to two Eagle Scouts in our local area from Troop 594 which is Brent Smith and Luc Amato and we actually have Brent here today and I just wanted to kind of have him highlight his Eagle Scout project and what he’s done all right so this is
Brent from Troop 594 in South Lake tall and Brent this was your Eagle Scout project can you tell me a little bit about what you did so first we had to install these sign posts you see here there were four of them then on another day we came back
And put on the signs you see here there were five signs and four posts perfect and how many people do you think showed up to your event we total both days were about a dozen about a dozen people wow so super super good support from our community here in South Lake tall and
Then we also have Luke Amato’s Eagle Scout project here as well can you tell me a little bit about his project Luke’s was also two days he helped build this Trail see here he built this ramp here and also a little bit further down there’s a big hole that we had to fill
Okay cool and you guys have submitted your projects and somewhere along the lines of completing their Eagle Scout rank in Boy Scouts and when do you think you might have your Eagle Scout hopefully spring of 2024 perfect well thank you for your contribution to this Trail all right let’s go check out some
More features of this Trail so Brent and I here are going to ride the new reroute section of the kingsberry Stinger Trail all the way down to the sewer plant Road and you’ll get a firsters view of it here and check out all the new features and all that so hope you
