This video, taken on 11.05.20, shows a brief view of the fescue (festuca) rough in the foreground and new bunkers and 8th fairway and green at Whittington Heath Golf Club – the approach to the new 8th green is being prepared by specialist project manager, Colin Rayner, from John Greasley Ltd, Golf Course Contractors, and it should be seeded by 14th May. The 8th green is the last to be built as part of the course redevelopment works as a result of the High Speed Two railway line. As an aside, I love to see the festuca in flower, and especially, when it’s being blown about by the breeze. Pretty special.
