When a reporter questioned Dana White about giving his fighters like Sean Strickland a “long leash” in what they are allowed to say, Dana White went ballistic on the reporter at the UFC 297 post-fight press conference.

  1. Knowing Dana White , this fool should know better than to ask him anything with some bs woke ideologies !

  2. freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, freedom of thought. all worth dying for. people forgot WW2 real quick

  3. Sure. The UFC believes in free speech so much, they threatened to fire any fighter who didn’t sign away the merchandising rights to their own likeness.
White doesn’t want to fire Strickland because he agrees with what he said. That’s the only reason, not because he cares about freedom of speech.

  4. Dana is being intentionally obtuse, he destroyed nobody. His fighters have no legal protection against Dana for saying whatever they like. He is voluntarily CHOOSING to allow them to say whatever they like. That's the whole point of the question. It's remarkable, so many conservatives, especially American LOVE to talk about free speech yet fail to understand what it actually even is and that it offers NO legal protection from a business. If Dana wanted to tell them what not to say… HE COULD. Complete legally, he could tell them what not to say. But he is CHOOSING not to. And that was the thing the journo is trying to ask… But Dana just being a dick for no reason.

  5. So… reporters assume that a leash should and does exist in such situations. Isn't that interesting? That the folks feeding us "news" have such beliefs? Makes one wonder what sort of things they're being taught to believe in order to get a job in that industry.

  6. That's the way these people think. They truly believe they should be able to dictate to us what we can say or think. Good for him.

  7. THIS! all the time, everywhere. Taking a stand for free speech is a stand for tolerance. Those who bait others only to trap them in their unpopular views, mean to signal virtue, self beauty, but accomplish the opposite.

  8. The reporter is a Homophobaphobe so he’s no less bigoted. Period. He hates people who hate people he likes. That’s lost on reporters

  9. It's just an expression. Journalist was saying "you let people say what they want." He was going to follow up asking "is there a line you don't want them to cross" or something like that. Dana could've given his free speech answer just fine. Dude went off for no reason.

  10. Tell that to Cris Cyborg, Dana… lol
Like the UFC is any different to other big virtue-signaling companies like Disney. It's just different virtues but yeah. If you don't agree with the company prepare to either get no fights or get pushed out of the UFC.
Dana is a hypocrite who is a genius at marketing. The rest… not so much.

  11. Make the context matter make them qualify the statement & back it up and then the Reporters look like pedophiles who are ok with talking sex to little kids. The so called Reporter "Getting into the territory of transphobia & homophobia". Then you watch Sean Strickland interview and he said don't talk sex to little kids in schools. The reporter is purposely leaving that out context.

  12. The instant Dana shows even the slightest resistance to this guy, you can hear him start stuttering and hesitating and squealing. It's really that simple. Stand up to these people. Without your fear, they have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

  13. These activist journalists love to say and “print” whatever they want, but when someone they disagree with exercises the same rights, they demand the persons be cancelled and censored. Listen to that soy boy Mike Ryan lose his marbles and that is the left in a nutshell.

  14. Then the guy shrank n shrank n dissapeared, right in front of Dana, as everyone felt him die slowly in public😮

  15. I'm Trans, I want all the attention. I should be privileged!
Well guess what: I'm Trans also 🏎🏍🚓🚛🛻🚙🚗🚕🚐🚑🚒 Autobots roll out!!!
