This year to mark Burns Night we asked you all to submit your Dundee FC poems, and we were blown away by your response.

We received a lot of incredible poems, some nostalgic, some funny, and some that were so touching.

One poem that stood out was “A Dee’s a Dee for A’ that” by Sam Flood, due to its vivid depiction of what makes football special for so many people – A shared love among family.

Sam has won our Burn’s Night competition this year, please enjoy this recital of his excellent poem read by Luke McCowan.
