A.J. is pretty excited with these irons. He will probably be playing them soon and you may see them in his next WITB Video.

Thank you for tuning in to another episode of WGC fits today we are going to be going over the blueprint s iron we are joined by Captain balled so everybody wave and say hi to Captain ball speed here um this is an iron that I am very
Excited about this is an iron that I know Ian is very excited about this is an iron you’ve already hit and ordered I didn’t order yet but we’re we’re close to test one thing um what this is is this is a replacement for the i59 they’ve taken all of the feedback at
Ping that they got from the tour guys about uh how that club performed and basically turned it into a players cavity back monster I would say so loosely going over the tech we’ve got 8620 carbon steel fully forged which is beautiful and the longer iron irons the
Five uh four and three iron we have a pocket that’s been milled out in the back that is something that we will go over uh later part of the video to kind of show you why that’s there we have um true forging going on here so all one
Piece nothing you know kind of crazy with pockets or anything and then uh you also have a loft window that’s pretty good which is 44 with the pitching wedge and 33 with the seven iron so go ahead talk us about what the look and the feel are here Mr Ian I am well
Since I have I 230s there’s less grooves there is less grooves it’s throwing me off yep so they uh I forget the actual name of the uh Tech that they had there but the 23 230 the 525 the uh actually I shouldn’t say that
I know the 59 and I think the 230 have the face where there’s more grooves going on and they did that to to kind of help control spin or I should say gain spin out of the rough for those fly or lies right here we’ve gone back to um
Traditional something that’s a little bit more traditional because basically what a lot of the the tour guys were saying was if they’re going to play a club like this they just want to be in total control yeah you know um the other thing to note is Center gravity in this
Is quite low compared to the 59 yeah that is going to be something that I think is going to be a welcome let’s say new thing to this iron line it’s quite a lot the shape is pretty similar to my i230 I honestly thought they looked very very similar it’s just slightly smaller
Mhm Just a Touch little bit thinner um but the other thing to note is the blade length on these is a little bit more generous than the original blueprint yeah that was again that was direct feedback from some of their staff guys yeah so I’m totally blind in hitting
This haven’t hit it yet and it’s snowing and it’s a little chilly this is great combination let’s see what we got Captain ball speed looks good D I love the way they look well I hit a dead center I mean everything about this is minus the Mis read of spin that’s can I
Get a normalize please there we go um so it missed spin on that one but I would say pretty true ball flight for what you like to do yeah I like to Mis right oh that was a bad that was healed but I don’t think I
The shaft is liking me no their shaft is a bit soft for you yeah we’ll swing a little slower mhm yeah there we go that’s not getting too high because that’s the that’s what happened with me with the i59 they got pretty high on them well that’s very interesting
Because again it’s just about how you’re delivering the Loft and the center of gravity of the club right yeah you’re traditionally I would say and argue for someone of your speed pretty low ball hitter yes you are not someone who gets that ball up in the air all that much
Unless you really have to correct I like the feel of them they feel so good right I don’t think anything feels better than a golf club made out of 8620 carbon still I don’t care what anyone says I’ve said that for a long time now I
Absolutely love that if we zoom in here AJ is drooling just a little bit yeah that’s a good golf shot now as good as I’m not losing them these are from like let’s say six iron down the thing that sold me me on this was when I started hitting the five and
The four iron yeah right so go ahead and tag one more with the seven then we’re going to we’re going to challenge you in on this 30° day start ripping four irons oh that’s the money shot I like that one I’ll take that one yeah just so good I mean that’s pretty
Straight I mean so control old just love everything about this club just for me this was definitely checking all the boxes from a look and a feel perspective yeah I was actually surprised because I thought it actually had quite a bit more help than I originally thought going
Into it which was nice um like I said these long irons over sealed it for me so now we are going to hit the four iron which has a bit of extra Tech in it this is where they have that Precision forged little pocket Yeah so basically
What they did was they made sure in the long irons that we were going to be able to get these up in the air right now traditionally with these clubs even though they have a fairly traditional Loft sometimes with the longer irons they’re a bit tougher to get up in the
Air because they don’t have all the extra ball speed and Center gravity stuff to kind of help yeah so with this they’re actually helping with that cavity to lower that center of gravity should have no problem getting this up in the air so I should hit this good hope so fingers
Crossed or I’ll feel it on my hands not bad for an s300 my swing 240 ah a yard short close what was the height though 88 see that’s normal for me is 90 exactly you don’t hit long irons very long you tend to get a bit into them I should say you
Tend to get a bit into them and kind of almost hit down on them a bit more yeah I’m I’m not a picker of the ball there’s nothing wrong with that that is about as good as it gets they they feel soft in the the long areas too mhm ah not
240 let’s see if I can hit one a little high there we go that’s always the Telltale if Captain ballp can get a four iron up in the air we know it’s a good golf club oh only an extra 10 ft but again this is what you do right I’ve I’ve
Played enough golf with you watch of golf shots with you are you hit long irons low this like this this is good bam all day off of te runs forever off te runs forever Gary Woodland style yeah all right let’s let’s try a uh let’s try
A high one with this that’s what I tried to do I want to see how high we can get it give give this that’s as high as I can get give this the college effort the college effort give me a landing angle of 42 with this what was the what was
The the 39 what it was 39 give me a landing angle of 42 plus get it up I’m G have to hit the ground back here sometimes you got to land in Green from 240 and stick it give me okay this as high as I can do it but I
Missed it did miss it but that launch was better better better it was 12 you’re close 100 feet Captain ball speed as high as I can get it the lowball hitter it’s all right um really good though right this is a good this is a club where I think just
For this type of player it’s going to check all the boxes very easily and for the guy who’s even let’s say you know trying to be into more of a bladed category I see a lot of combo that’s happening with this as well because the Lofts are the same on the S the
Blueprint T which we’re going to shoot next as well as the 230 so you have a lot of Windows and a lot of options to kind of really customize a set to make them work for you yeah and personally I love seeing companies do that you know
Give us options when we’re doing the fittings to help guys where they want it so what do you think I approved thumbs up I know it’s windmill approved I know it’s AJ approved and it’s going in AJ’s bag so it’s definitely AJ proof um all right
Guys thanks for tuning in uh please like And subscribe we’ll see you next time for the blueprint tea irons

Good job guys. Already have mine on order plus half an inch with KBS tour, blue dot 4-p. The exact same set up I carried 12 years ago in my S 55s which I have fond memories of. Can you compare the softness of this iron to another brand? The only other company that comes to mind using 3620 is Wilson. Thanks
Nice job
This is an iron I really want to test. I play i210s and the i230s just didn't do it for me – spin fell off a little and I felt it lacked a little bit of control compared to i210, although as always that could be just me.
I love the look of the Blueprint S only issue, like the i59, it seems a bit smaller than my i210 so the 5i (my longest iron) might be a bit scarily small for me! But I could go i230 for the 5i
Based on the video it looks like the S has a bit more spin and a bit more control than before. Maybe it is a direct replacement for my i210s.
Also I do feel sorry for Captain Ballspeed, in that temperature the hands are really going to feel it
What do you think about combo these with i230
That is dedication hitting balls with snow on the ground
A.J., We need to see a video of you being fitted for these irons.
Next video has to be AJ getting fit for these!
I’ve always been a huge Mizuno fan. These vs 243s thoughts?
No way, AJ! S20C (Miura) is the best feeling club material out! That being said, I've heard a lot of great things about these.
