Think it was Pat who pointed out what just an awesome four-week stretch this is right we got this then we’re going to go up to Pebble Beach and then I believe it’s down to the waste management and then it’s right back up to the Genesis right all out there on the west coast
Four great tournaments that are all going to have great Fields Great Courses this is just a great little month of football right or F golf as football ends right is Pebble a uh a proam with an elevated event or yes I believe so I think I think that’s why they’re only
Doing it on two courses this year right because typically that’s a three course rotation but I believe because it’s a signature event this year they’re only doing a two course rotation don’t hold me to that I live one week at a time you mother fathers all right just be happy I
Know the next three tournaments coming up that’s a small victory you said the four-week stretch I was to say that’s usually one I could take that I could tell to take a hike as well but in this case it might be a lot I only know it cuz I ripped that off

Going to I’m not going to show my model but I was going to go over some things that I was looking at this week and part of what makes this course so much different than what we’ve seen the past three weeks oh I’m here to learn too you
Mother father you go ahead you you lead the way so you know the last two weeks I kept saying these are second shot courses meaning that it is basically going to come down to are you sticking your irons and wedges close as an are you going to roll in some putts this
Week this is one of the longest courses on the PGA to remember there’s a two course rotation Thursday and Friday they’re going to play one round at the North Course one round at the South course the North Course is definitely easier than the South course okay then
Once they make the cut after the round two which this week will be Thursday they will play the final two rounds on the south course so most of these stats are considering what the South course is going to be like and this is a US Open style course now they’re going to have
It back down they’re not going to have the rough up and have it as playing as hard as the US Open but it is long enough to be that so this week there’s going to be a premium on off the tea something we’ve been treating like a
Bastard child these past 3 weeks but this week I think it is the single most important thing yes driving distance will help you yes off the tea uh will help you but you got to remember it’s not one of those things I do think you
Want to be out there far but you also are going to need to be missing in the right spot so that you will still have the ability to attack these uh uh uh greens and keep your Greens in regulation because what you do not want to be doing here is scrambling your
Balls off for par because the biggest thing I can tell you is these are true West Coast POA greens and you’re going to see your guy has 3et 3 in for power and you’re already going to be giving it and then you look back and he makes a
Bogey because these greens are brutal they are that West Coast bumpy ass po it’s like putting on the moon also all second shots over 65% of all second shots will come from 150 plus so the long what I’m trying to tell you here is you need to put it out there long you
Need to be able to hit your long irons you need to be able to scramble your balls off and you need to be able to punt on uh you know the Himalayan Mountains okay and with that I’m looking for guys who have allaround games one of two guys are going to win this
Tournament it is going to be a guy who is an elite ball Striker with long driving distance right uh whoever you want to use as that example right well what what John ROM used to be right a Max Homa type A guy like that or the
Other kind of guy that can win at a tournament like this is a guy who can scramble their dick off a Patrick Reed a a brand caker guys like that right guys that are like true magicians who can get it done in spite their lack of distance
They can get it done with a creativity and saving pars those are really the only two kind of guys I think can win at a course like this you know like a poor guy like chz reevy you know he’s good with long irons but like he can’t
Scramble his balls off and he hits the ball real short a lot like me Shez so those are the big thoughts from the course that is what I’m looking at uh off the top of my head kind of the first guys I think of I imagine to uh Tambo
Are G to be all the most expensive price guys right yeah I think that’s how it shakes out every year too right I mean or at least like four the last five years or something it’s like pricing is correct usually and that it has the guys
That are going to end up doing well so you got to find the right combination of those then of course it’s key to get those guys down at the bottom but just a couple quick things to add I mean you said two of them like I’ll just say a
Different piece on them but one would be The Showdown Edge capability here like you definitely talked about with the course rotation stuff definitely want to be mixing that in and then on that note I always have an interesting angle this the first big PGA DFS gpp I ever hit for
It was actually I didn’t win the tournament it was a big score was 40K and first was 100 but it was at this event and I remember that year and so I do bring this up every year just as a reminder is that a lot of people stack
Like a North Course South course rotation they’re like oh I just want my guys out to make a bunch of birdies they’ll be feeling good and then day two they’ll be able to Coast to that made cut but I actually do think about it the other way and that’s what happened for
Me that season was you got to remember when you go let’s say you go four or five under on day one as soon as you make one mistake on that South course on day two things can start to come out think about how negativity works in your
Mind soon as one bad thing happens SEI woo off The Rock trying to be a hero all of a sudden Sam Burns goes in the water I’m starting to think about things as they happen I try and alleviate my mind to that stuff because no control over it
But in golf it can go the other way it can flip and you got to think how good does it feel to grind out the South course for a nice even par whatever it might be a one over you’re feeling pretty good knowing that in day two it
Can’t get any harder than that right or it could I know you say that but at the same time I do think of it from that perspective so well it may not be stacking because of weather this week maybe it will be because there is going
To be some uh rain and stuff coming in I do think about it for real from that other side of things where you know mindset of these players having to get in and make the cut so the the course swing can do that as well let me just
Ask you this right now let’s say that we saw one day is going to be windy and one day is not which by the way you’ll see the weather here in a second it’s a Thursday actually Thursday afternoon right now is projecting to be a little bit windier than Wednesday so let’s just
Let’s just play a game and say we’re expecting worse weather on Thursday I have this is something I have debated about on these on when there’s this two course rotation would you rather have your guys on the easier course or the harder course on the bad weather day cuz
This is I feel like there’s not a an actual right answer to this but I think I have found the hill that I’m willing to die on I think there is a right answer we figured it out before but now I’m just a little under the weather and
Trying to remember it here quickly so it’s you it’s the opposite of what everyone thinks it would be right what is it and then it will remind me what it’s the yeah so I I I’ve actually this is something I’ve changed my mind on in
The last two years I now believe that on the better weather day I want my guys on the E easier course I want them to go get it while it’s good right and then just go survive the harder course in the worst conditions and I think most people
Say oh no I want my guy on the tougher course in the better conditions but now that I’ve been playing PGA DFS so long I Now understand that it’s not always about uh having two okay rounds it’s about having those really good rounds is what catapults you up the leaderboard so
If I can get my guy out there to go shoot a minus 7 on the North Course and then a plus one in the tougher condition South course in the windy conditions that’s what I’m going to take every time because if yeah that that that’s the right answer in my opinion and something
I have evolved on I but I again we don’t we’re just saying that we’re taking a hard stand that that’s the right answer maybe someone has better stats and numbers to knows but I’m with you on that one and that’s why I said it but it’s exactly the second part that you
Said everyone thinks it’s the other way but you got to get the scores while you can and you can only get the scores on the E you can only really get the scores on the easy course in the in the better weather versus the other side there may
Not be any scores to be had at all so that’s the key is get the points where you can especially when it matters in DFS more than just the real golf I know you need them to make the cut and all these other factors but the point being
Of like the Eagles or the streaks or the birdies and all the stuff that add up in the end can still matter regardless of where you’re at so yeah you you said it better that’s what I was looking for though all right a quick weather update you guys need to understand I’m filthy
Rich I can’t afford the $18.99 a year to give you the best win projections out there and right now it’s rain freaking cats and dogs right there at the course right and this is a course that typically the greens play a little bit firmer at worst they play medium but I
Think you’re going to see some softer greens this week as it’s raining all day today it looks like there’s going to be a little bit more rain overnight and then they turn around and play on Wednesday so these greens I think at worst are going to be somewhat receptive
And uh could make you know throw in darts with those seven you know those six and seven irons a lot more reasonable than it normally is at this course because normally this course you have 190 yard approaches and you can’t stick it because the greens are so firm
That is one of the big defenses so I would be watching that I think that this is going to be pretty receptive the other thing I have is even though it looks like there’s not going to be a ton of wind it looks like both Wednesday and
Thursday the first two days it’s only going to get up to about 60° at the warmest and I’m going to tell you 60° is a magic threshold in Gulf when it’s below 60° scoring is lower across the board that’s part of one of the reasons that the Scottish open in the British
Open later in the year are always lower scoring is because they tend to just be colder than the witches tit so uh that’s just some updated weather of course I will have everything you need for the final weather tomorrow on the stream but this is just kind of a first look for

Ownership and people seem to let that infest every decision they make to me this is a good rule to follow you only need one or two pivot SL sleepers per lineup to really get your lineup different you don’t need five or six pivots in every lineup at some point the
Better plays are the better plays the more owned guys are the better players because they’re better players out of better course condition and better form so the key is is to pick your battles on the Strategic one two maybe three pivots you want to make it a lineup and then
The rest you can play guys that you like even if they are high owned right you have anything to add to that Tambo because I feel like this is a problem that a lot of people do they over pivot yeah definitely then people say it’s overleveraged right like you’re
You’re playing like oh I need this guys on again if you really do like all the six then it can’t really it’s not really overleveraged if you’re just playing who you like and you want to do it but if you look back at the winning lineups and
I talk about this a lot in the courses and stuff that we have over at shipit nation.com breaking it down of the review and anal and Analysis in all sports that I play if you’re even if you’re just doing this as a hobby if you’re putting enough money into it it’s
Not just a hobby I mean you’re investing into it to have fun and that’s what it’s all about good contest selection bankroll management all the common points that DJ and myself hit on with building a process of something of your own but but if you are going back and
Looking at it you’ll see it’s not very often on the entire season on a large sample that you’ll see a lineup with like every dude is three to five% Owned it’s very often some of the chalk gets there some doesn’t a great way to leverage it is usually through roster
Construction so don’t always look about like I always say it’s not who you play it’s how you play them don’t always look at the one to one to one to one pivots and look at what is my lineup look like versus what I think the rest of the
Field is doing that’s what we talk about a lot more so even when we are incorporating pick and plays as we like to say into some of the stuff it’s not necessar just to pick those guys and play those guys as much as how who are
You picking and why and how are you playing them and what does that overall look like and so that’s the the thing I would say on that Ben also says uh will people be a bit scared off willly Z I still think so uh Ben and I just I want

TV like his guys’s only had 10 he was in first seventh eighth I think I saw you in sixth at that yeah and then all of a sudden I looked back at the end he’s he’s El rnck I believe on is his uh little handle on U uh DraftKings been
You know been a supporter of the show for a long time so you know I know who you know I was cheering him on right and then I looked back when it’s all said and done and I think he didn’t I think he got like maybe a th000 bucks for that
Lineup That was winning 200,000 because in contests like this and this is why I always tell you guys some people should play in these contests but probably not you okay because whenever you fall from first down to like 16th Place which is very easy when sewo gets into the rocks
Or when Sam burn snap hooks it into the water right it is very easy to fall you those $199,000 drop offs hurt a lot whereas if you’re in a better structured contest you don’t drop off you know $199,000 right there’s always going to be a drop but in well structured contest
When you have those drop offs it hurts a little less right and this is why I’m always about these well structured contests because Sunday at the very end can be an absolute [ __ ] show and can move you way up and way down and the better structured contest you are in the
Less those drops will hurt you do you have anything to add to that Tambo because I know you are one of the guys who plays in these tournaments that I will not shame for playing in it you’ve got the drops you just talked about we just talked about the top of the show
Obviously they can be very hurtful even with two holes remaining or three holes remaining so it happens I definitely agree with that that’s why I again if you saw like I I I’ve been playing the 254 Max as opposed to two and the 555 and and mainly it’s not because I just
Get double the lineups it’s because I have the max anybody else has I already feel good enough about that field about beating that field it’s not that I don’t think I can beat the 555 I’ve just a year and a half ago or whatever it was I
Came second and third within a month period in that tournament I can get there in that one too but it’s like 100k 40K 20K like you need a top three and there’s people in there that have the max 30 lineups or 28 or 18 or whatever week it is depending on how many
Entrance they’re letting into the field 3% of that is the max so I just have a good time doing it have a good shot just this past weekend even at the 20K there that’s an example in that tournament for this one anything can happen it’s a [ __ ]
Show like you said I was in the same top 10 there and I think I finished 93rd it’s just you know you got to know what you’re getting into but there’s not many other places that you can go um to win 200k like that and well it’s unlikely if
You’re building your lineups accordingly and once you get a better process in place and and know how to attack you should be building your lineups based on the tournaments that you’re playing and you know quick quickly on that so I’m not rambling on but just to say it now I
Wouldn’t probably put necessarily the same lineups into the 250 for I’ll probably duplicate it just because like why not just throw it in there hit the nuts style of build that I’m trying to get get to the top of something like that with you need you do need more
Leverage you don’t need a over leverage but you want more leverage and something like the $20 I build two different player pools right I I I do my one for my my 250 four Maxes my $200 single entry my 120s basically anything over like 50 bucks or more all those lineups
I’ll go build a really condensed player pool of guys that I really like that I’m not so worried about getting cute with and then when I go do my 150 my mme player pool I’ll start adding some of those peripheral pieces that I like in there right I’ll go throw that Kevin
Youu in there or whatever slimy [ __ ] I like that week and put some of those guys in there because you’re going to need some of those low ohm pump pieces more often to win these these big gpps than you will to win the the 254 Max right right yeah that’s right so this
Contest you know like guys this is what I’m talking about like tampo can say that it’s the only place I’m going to win $200,000 but a lot of you don’t need to be worrying about that you need to worry about making your lineups making your bankroll sustainable right and when
You see second place is only 1/4 of first that’s the kind of [ __ ] you should run from unless you got a r big bank roll and you know you have an impeccable process outside of that I don’t think you should be playing in it but this big
$5 just keeps going up 25,000 every week and the structure just keeps getting better and better if you want to play at mme this week that stand for Mass multi-entry those are the ones you can put 150 lineups in check out drive the green they just keep making it bigger
Every week first place $25,000 which is only one8 of the prize pool that’s great right there right second place 60% of first see you you know the last minute the guy gets a birdie on the last hole and jumps ahead of you well second place doesn’t feel like such a kick in the
Dick when you get 60% of what you were still going to get right you go down here it’s just a well balanced payout structure yes you got to beat 47,000 people which ain’t easy but this is a much more sustainable mme than than that $20 one is uh I love this contest and
It’s going to fill a lot quicker because people are starting to become aware of the value of being a good contest selections um you have any other contests that you like that I need to talk about they they really do have some great contest um this week even with it
Locking a date early they didn’t Nerf how big the contests were so really proud of DraftKings for that one yeah I uh I think the $1 18 Max that you started I think I’ve made money in that every week so far even on my bad week it
Was like I still made $100 or something so stick only tournament I profited in this week was the $10 18 Max yeah that one’s really good the um the $5 you talked about that was the first one I maxed yesterday like I just go put 150
In that right away so y it’s solid but there’s a lot like the $20 3ax the $12 single entries there’s still some really good structures that come with those where you can still get a feel for kind of what you and I were talking about pre-show like just awesome to see all
The guys across both of our sites and members guys and girls that are winning and having success turning 50 bucks into 500 very few weeks am I putting in five grand and turning it to 50 or two grand and turning it to 20 so you have to
Still compare it the same thing 10x is 10x that’s some incredible stuff to see and those are the tournaments where you can really see that happen and that’s where you can get the bankroll built up to then you can take on something different like you win the $12 single
Entry one week you could probably start to play the $10 uh 18 Max or something if you have a bit more of a you know 5K bankroll boost or something where you feel a little bit better about that playing something uh and getting some more mme process in so yeah little
Things like that that I look at but overall so far I’m pretty impressed with what we’ve seen for these PGA tournaments this season uh guys the the one contest you should be in his M it is a $5 3ax reduce rate flat payout structure literally my host just texted

The best of the best in the in the past coming from 8,300 and above but if you take your stands down low then you can mix a match with these guys up top because another thing that comes with the tournament where there’s a lot of good guys up top the ownership gets
Extremely spread out and you don’t end up seeing one guy at 35% and one guy at 28 and that sort of thing you’ll see it really spread out so you could still be at field or above up top but huge leverage down low and if you end up
Getting it right you’ll have more combinations of the right value plays you wanted to go with the guys that you have no clue on 2v tws like uh Klay and Eric Cole or Keegan Bradley and Xander chafl like that’s a 2v2 I’m just looking at cheating and going ahead where how

Driving distance they do not pick up a lot of Strokes uh off the T okay so they’re probably both going to be under 3% owned this week but as I told you at the start if you want to play The Leverage game this week look for guys
Who can scramble their balls off who can get it done in other ways you don’t just have to be a ball striking God to find success this week okay you can find success by being a guy who will scramble this course save those parts when other people aren’t the Patrick Reed the brand
Sneer type guys can win at the course and can get good results it’s not just going to be all bombers who are going to make up 10 of the top 10 guys on the leaderboard so if you can find those guys that you’re okay playing a different style maybe not a perfect
