Ben Foster takes on the ONE CLUB CHALLENGE!

Today on the Golfing GK channel, I put my skills to the test in a one club challenge and you’re probably wondering, what club did I choose? I have gone for my trusty 5 iron in the hopes I can get around three holes at level par! Do you think I can do it?

Somebody that’s been on the Golf Channel been on the golf in GK one of my good mates Andy Sullivan I don’t know if you saw this the other day but he played an entire 18 holes one round using one Club only so I’m going to give it a go today

Playing fre o okay the first hole here at Fon Valley is a par 4 420 yards a fairly long starting hole to be honest with you but it’s fairly straight there shouldn’t be much trouble let’s just try and get this if I can get this 200 ydd down the

Fairway we’re cooking baby come on then it is cold by the Way Winter is fully upon us okay so I fully snap hooked the life out of that one to start with not a great start but you know what it’s up there right okay so not an ideal first

Shot but we’ve got a shot in at least uh we’re kind of in the trees I don’t think no I don’t think I’m impeded we’ve still got 220 yards 200 yards to the front of the green so I just need to give it another good whack and hope for the

Going to have to test the touch out and then the third hole so it’s like you’ve got to get over a brook that’s like 180 yards or something and then it’s uphill so it’s about another 400 yard power for I’m going to I’m going to aim for I’m

Going to aim for a two over par if I can get two over par using just my five iron today buzzing jeez my hands are cold you winter see fully here right in the UK at the moment it’s winter placing so what you can do is if you’ve got mud on your

Ball like that for example um you can give it a little wipey wipe and place it I think 6 in 6 in sound about right youa I think you’re allowed to place it within 6 in of where it landed so my third chart I’ve got to get up and down

Using Justice five iron um this is going to be tough you know like I’ve never done this before I haven’t got the ability of a pro golfer who knows how to hit absolutely everything exactly how he wants to um so I’m just going to have to sort of like bump and run it

Okay um and there’s a bunker on the front left and on the front left and on the front right so this is going to take some sort of culture that I don’t think I’ve got to be honest with you it’s going to have to be like a a 60% five

Iron tell you what miss that bunker that is going to be that is going to be a very hard shot so Andy San actually did a few shots right where he did like a almost like a flop shot I saw him he had a wide stance yeah he opened

Right the level that these Pros are at I think he shot something like four or 500 PA on the day through 18 holes um you know one shot in particular stuck out to me yeah he had a he’s got like one of those two irons right carbon shaft looks

Absolutely beautiful on the 18th hole it’s a par five I’m going right on getting my big boy out get get my drive I’m going to drill it down there hopefully 260 270 he takes his two iron out he was about three yards behind me
