If you early extend – read this ⬇️

There are a LOT of reasons you may early extend but let’s make sure YOUR SETUP is not one of them!

If you “try to stick your butt out” in your setup position, you may end up with too much anterior pelvic tilt 🤔

Basically, if your pelvis was a bucket of water 🪣💦, you’d be dumping that water too much in front of you. To flatten out your lower spine, try to dump the bucket more behind you.

This will flatten out your lumbar spine and give you a better chance to keep your hips from moving in toward the ball 👍

Occasionally I will see players that suffer from this have lower back pain, so make sure that isn’t you! ❌

Online lessons are available on the @skillestapp 👊

If you have too much anterior pelvic tilt it means your pelvis is tilted too far forward and you have a little curve in your lower spine from this setup position it’s really easy to early extend and move our hips in toward the ball instead pretend your pelvis is a

Bucket of water and try to tip it more behind you this will flatten out your lower spine and it’ll give you room to push your hips back and rotate on the downswing instead of pushing them in toward the golf ball thanks for watching and follow for more tips
