I he from the Oakdale Golf Academy welcome to my channel I’m very excited for today’s episode today I will be exposing the tempos of the tour players that were here at the RBC Canadian open I was able to film them on the Range and on the golf course yes you’re going to

See Rory Maloy Justin Rose amongst others their exact tempos how I came up at that number all here today on rhythmic golf just a little review Tempo is a measurement of time between two pulses 60 seconds a minute 60 minutes an hour the tempo of time that we live I’m going

To use a metronome you’re going to hear four counts that Loop a high pitch is the one okay so there you go now when I start at the ball here my one is actually going to be be at my right foot area so I will be

Hitting that on my back swing to signify the one and I’ll strike the ball on three this is how I time the Tour player swings how I teach timing hopefully it’ll benefit you shed some light on how this all works and that’s what a timed golf swing

Is to a metronome that’s at 110 beats per minute so here you go the tempo of the tour players actually a couple of things that I overlooked I’m also going to give you the tempos of the legends of the game including of course Tiger Woods Jack Nicholas Arnold Palmer let’s go

Even deeper back in time to see the temples of those Legends and maybe we can show a little comparison have things changed or is it just styles of swings on another note thank you for clicking watching my videos I appreciate you very much if you’re not a subscriber

Please Subscribe if you like it click a like send me a comment ask me any question you like and of course if you really like it please share this with your friends and now the tempo of tour Players That’s oh oh wow come around come Around No holy moly well how about that for contrast 9264 yeah everybody swings at different tempos there’s no like tour Tempo there’s ratios there’s flow to a swing absolutely some people call it rhythm dra right to Left Adam Scott with a driver this was moments ago Adam Scott 190 Yards little scamper [Applause] okay there’s a bunker on the right too that’s waiting to catch the Players Miss must hit the Fairway like downhill life now oh dialed in by one shot she has to thread the needle here it’s a long way up to the top of this 11th hard for dog there was a quizzical look from Daniel Pang as this group walked past the 11th to onto the

Night as if to say wait a mental picture of what to do after watching corpers stick one in their close so coming in a little bit hotter needs to back up a bit it did while we were away say came with her t-shir you fine they’re playing the

Seven yard uphill so close to 140 shot PGA professional this just could be the first step of a very very big career Well that took off on a nice line there’s no doubt who’s striking it best in this final three bow right now L of averages Jerry at some point you have

To start going in she’s giv herself so many chances especially with this betting stroke that’s just this time oh wow Reaction today the chance to add the amundi heavan championship title it’s a tough tier to find where the pin is today left side hit it kind of through the corner certainly will suit the eye of Brooke Henderson sisters and Teammates just put it on the ground to hit this one there is a low bur the right side that’s got some speed there watch the way it takes that FL back straight away from that Ball and then hit his opening t- shot just yard par five dog leg to the Right he hit a beautifully controlled left to right fade which finished 250 yds out just short of the cookie stance he leaned into the shots got it up into the wind for In starts away right now it’s coming in coming in and look out start right to the Finish and Sam sne has hit his a little bit to the left hand side of the pass to Hogan off to T by about five yards on the left side of the Fairway and he’s also

Hitting a 6 he put it straight away at the flag the hazards at the angle of the dog leg really unloaded on it player with the honor this with a Driver keep it up on the front part Tom Watson first to play Cory you were on Watson’s team in 93 the last of 16 that was an a out from 142 yd hole location just seven Paces over that left hand side bunker hole he has a chance of getting this ball very close to the hole if it’s hit properly it is virtually surrounded by five bunkers wanted to do and needed to do

And that was go out and make a few Birdies here today is to cut it back into the wind try and hold it in the fair L this one is huge Let’s go to 13 for the final pairing of the day on the te Nicholson going with the Driver up baby nice one thanks see you guys sure and that one is long Jack right there know that Ball’s about 330 and they’re not getting a lot of roll out here no they’re not the 15th T 500 y power [Applause] [Applause] five hasn’t lost his smoothness nothing surprises me with Fred you know he he always says he never practices but he’s out there every day probably practicing you know you never know what what’s going on with him uh but he’s so smooth and and his rhythm really takes him Through K what tempo ready with a two iron from 258 235 to carry the water oh look at this Rossy the gallery was right that what a shot woo Let’s launch another one way up in the air all you can do is shake your head and glass three twice this week this is a n Aon just out of the hole wow beautiful Shot pretty Good P St is the 1999 US Open Champion oh my what a [Applause] Clutch going to be just a little bit left but it’s right on target hits the middle of the green and checks up Le about 40t paven Coke and McCumber your destiny is right Here It’s right at It oh my take to day and he needs to get off to a good start he has not played first five holes that well this week left to right wind working it back so there we go need it a little but the slope will bring it around if you can

Hand it in the right Place good Contact as well and it almost Seems here see thought his right foot slipped got away with [Applause] It 25 ft right of It down ball down oh yes that’s Master’s experience right there he also had an eight AR he does this time as well oh yeah oh [Applause] yeah and he’s nailed it same number 143 never going to reach them on the nose but here it is the return to

Glory well I really hope you enjoyed this video maybe shed a little bit of light that you know everybody’s different I’m different you’re different but what do tour players do they can all hit the ball flush they hit it down the line they squore up their face they do

All those fundamental things correctly but they have their own way of delivering the golf swing and they can do it consistently whether they use a metronome or not I I don’t know but if you do you have a foundation of doing things consistently until next time I’m izy

  1. You are absolutely right and I can attest to the benefits of rhythmic golf. I actually stumbled on this concept by accident a year or so ago. Then the YouTube algorithm brought our channel to me and I immediately subscribed because I wanted to see what a professional has to say about using a prescribed rhythm as a swing guide and I wasn’t disappointed. Before I found your channel, I just used a mental counting method, sort of like dancing a waltz: 1-2-3 on the backswing and 1-2-3 downswing. It worked amazingly well. After watching your videos, I am going to switch to the metronome on my phone and see if I get even better results. I don’t really share this other golfers because I didn’t want them to think I was a little goofy. However, last September I played in our annual men’s league/women’s league tournament where we form co-ed teams. Well, the woman on our team started out well enough, after about 6 holes, she lost it and hit fat shots/and slices one after another. With 3 holes to play, I made a suggestion to use my rhythmic golf method. At first she counted out loud, then she did it silently. But, she started hitting one pure shot after another for the last 3 holes. She was delighted. After we finished, she thanked me for my suggestion and said, “why didn’t you tell me about this 9 holes ago.” The rhythmic golf method gets excellent results and now I can just refer them to your YouTube channel for professional advice. Thanks a million.By the way, can’t I use earphones and listen to the metronome while I am playing a round of golf?

  2. Best part is when PEDs are exposed. The legacy will disappear for ever its too bad really!?!?! And he knows .. explains a lot really
