The description I want to talk about the weather first thing because there’s like a like a monsoon at the course I don’t know what it’s going to look like on Thursday but the last time that I remember there being rain and bad conditions at the Sony was the year that

Cam Smith won and the winning score was 11 under not your typical 18 under 23 under whatever it might be of course did show its teeth a little bit when it was wetter but a lot of that came during play there was high winds it was wet out

I don’t like the course might be fine by Thursday yeah we’ll have to wait and see obviously we get the latest weather but to your point I think it does bring different people into the mix like Matt Fitzpatrick is $10,200 here I don’t really love him very much if it’s going

To be 22 under or 23 under or something like that but if it was 11 and grind it out a little bit along the way I would feel much better about a certain play play like that and that’s just more of a strategy basis thing because there is

I really like to play I mean here’s like the kind of the key just play like Asian dudes at these courses they kind of Dominate and Canadians and Canadians or another one well I bet Nick Taylor already so Cory Connor is I will I’m not playing Cory Connors

This week I’m not betting Cory Connor this week and just eliminating him from my player pool I think will make me unique enough it could yeah I didn’t bet him for sure I know a lot of people are on that 33 or whatever number they found I think there is interesting ways to

Play him here so I’m okay with 9800 on DFS he’s not even close to the top like if you start your lineup with him that could be a way to get different but yeah back to what you’re saying like there is the common build whatever you think I’m

Curious but uh well the common build that I tend to do and like Heritage I mean I had a really good Sony Open last year on DraftKings obviously the most I’ve ever won on a tournament on DraftKings without the Heritage with these sorts of lineups and they were all

The same type of builds just basically if anyone is $110,000 above cross them off the list y that’s what we talked about and what ends up happening is when we get there you’ll see 7500 to 7900 becomes the decision- making factor and that’s where basically all of the chalk

Is going to land you can get the you know someone in that range could be your sixth golfer in no problem and that’s not saying you go play 58k guys you can do that this week because there’s some guys in there I’m just saying but if you

Did that that would land you kind of there as well but there’s lineups that you could still get multiple 9k guys in and a lot of people just can make a case against really Brian Harmon falls into it too at 9900 but 9900 and above

There’s a case to be made against all of them and then some of them have no history here so that makes it easy to cross them off or theala can’t can’t do it again this week because this is a different setup you know he can he can’t

Be as wild with his drives whatever even though if you look you can be you absolutely no one hit I mean it’s not you you can’t be so wild with your drives because there’s OB on some of these holes like number one if you miss left or right you’re out of bounds but

Guys don’t really go out of Bounds at this course and no one hits the Fairway it’s like the second besides I think it’s Tory Pines this is second lowest Fairway hit percentage so like who cares guys have won it like 40% uh driving act like it’s been so bad but this is where

It kind of circles back in if it’s really wet conditions and like the course isn’t dried out by the time that play starts at least for the first two rounds that if you are a sprayer off the tea is all of a sudden like the rough

Becomes thicker it’s hard to hit or hit out of wet rough versus probably having lift clean and replace from the phro now that becomes an angle that you can take and all of a sudden you want your accuracy guys out there at least just to get through the cut these other guys

Might storm it get through sneak through storm it on the weekend that’s what we’ve seen the past two years Hideki great weekend 6464 if to storm back and win sew did exactly the same thing um and Nick Taylor by the way the last two times

He’s played here has had a round of 62 in the mix he was the 36 hole leader in 2021 he shot 62 on Saturday a year ago to get himself inside the top 10 going into the final so that’s why I like Nick Taylor this week by the way Canadian

Open winner your boy Nick Taylor and good on Coastal remember Pebble Beach proam winner he could definitely get it done two good results here the last two years as well and when I went through in that newsletter and showed the comp courses and the players that play really

Well I I isolated the four that I think are have the biggest crossover in terms of I mean these are strategic courses like you don’t have to it’s almost the same as that Heritage you don’t have to hit the Fairway you just have to be on

Like the right side of the hole so you can attack the pins and make your birdies so you know being in the right rough might be more advantageous than being on the very left side of the Fairway and all of these courses except for elch Leon I know they don’t play

There anymore but there’s a very clear correlation between aoba in this place too many people have won the both those tournaments and field strength relative are about the same at those tournaments it’s different now that Heritage is an elevated event but previous to that it was all like the regular jabronies that

You would see here none of the good players so I put those for Colonial Windam uh myoba and Heritage all in one I added PGA National and Saw Grass another place where players who’ve played well at Sony do really well I just I minimized it a little bit because

You get FY stats from those courses cuz there’s so much water like one or two bad shots can really skew how a player looks and bump them down so I minimize that a little bit but at the very end I did two more to look at I think that for

The bottom end of this field like if you are looking for a $6,000 guy or a cheap player I think that Bermuda is a good one to look for because that field is comprised essentially of the $6,000 range this week who plays well there and we saw that the players with the most

Strokes gain like the top 20 in Strokes gain total in the history of the Bermuda Championship I think five of them came inside the top 12 at this tournament last year which is really nice to see and then Sanders and Farms is the other one to look at because you get more of

Like the sewo the Sam burns like you don’t get Sheffer there but you get more of like the sort of top end guys that even even are at this tournament just to see relative speaking and well Nick Taylor doesn’t really fit in all that well there Luke list did win this year

Nick Taylor’s First PGA win came at the Sanderson Farm so yeah just to put it back on Nick Taylor a little bit about why I like him this week anyway that’s all the newsletter if you want to check it out but that’s sort of what I was

Digging into to try to find different levels of guys that I like this week but that’s where I ended up on it yeah I think he’s fine I obviously like him quite a bit talked about him earlier when you just said everything that goes with him even more that makes it even

Better but I don’t know like again we’ll see where ownership goes with him being at 7200 though like like I was mentioning earlier I I guess maybe this show and other stuff happens and people maybe catch on to some of that stuff but in general most these lineups look like

They end around somewhere in the Andrew putam range at 75 500 and you can easily just build up a nice Sixers lineup from there so that that’s how I’m seeing The Bu The builds shake out this week and then people going to the 9k range you can play Connors Henley Kirk whatever

You want to play in there and still get away with that too so there’s I think the balance builds especially too because it’s a cut week now last week everybody was on the stars and scrubs with it being a no cut and I understand why and that makes sense actually ended

Up being some of the guys through the middle that came through so sometimes you want to Zig with other zag right and that’s a spot you can do it this week well we also have I think not neily an advantage because these guys might suck

But we have a lot of these guys we would play on DP World Tour DraftKings we like at some of these international events who have now graduated to the PGA Tour and when people run optimizers or even use the stats like there’s not a lot of

Asian tour stats and there’s not a lot of DP World Tour stats or Sunshine tour stats to say that like Alexander bjor might be one of the best iron players in this field this sounds like a perfect course for him accurate off the tea goes at pins makes a bunch of putts like

That’s what you want to see at Wy but like no one’s playing Alex Bor this week bork which which can get you into trouble that’s I say too all the time right somebody finds him he ends up being at what 0.5% 1% call let’s give them that yeah everyone but someone says

I’m going to really take a stand on I’m get 20% now I like that approach if you want to get in on this guy get in on him but the point is now that’s why you need to get a little bit more action on him because some people will say I don’t

Even need him because even if he goes off and crushes there’s only 1% or less of the field that’s even on him and then they probably messed up in other places so sometimes you can alleviate it that way too that’s why I look for your

Diamonds in the Rough there is a guy at 6,300 you might like though do you remember that guy let’s see $6,300 he’s playing now I mean it’s not I mean wacky valami is at 64 he would actually be a guy that if the course showed teeth I would want to play he’s

Good at hard courses on the Euro tour not like a birdie Fest guy yeah you can make cases for but like valami is a real guy he has like three DP World Tour wins like he’s good yeah I this is what’s hard like we I don’t think they’re all

The these guys like you just like obviously he has a real guy he’s got wins all this stuff but the point of more like in this range there’s 84 guys in the 6400 you and I know quite a bit more about these guys about crazy Carl I

Assume that’s who you’re looking at I just wanted you to say the name oh uh oh okay well I I was thinking about when we get to the bets uh I I might actually have a maybe a bet in on P and Cy the season is truly back yes that’s what we

Fairy tour and then came like last a bunch of times he’s the exact guy that I like to bet on but he’s like 250 to one or something this week that that’s the other thing too this week we talked about already about the guys from 7500

And up get so popular when you go down to just 7,400 and below and you can get other I don’t know what you want to do if Gary Woodland’s back but like some of these other guys I I got no interest in Gary W until I see it like Gary Woodland

At this point of his career like he hasn’t been good basically since he won the US Open and that was legit like five six years ago at this point I think yeah I guess you you mentioned already then like Nick Taylor if you want to play addc there at 7300 Kirk kyama played

Last week Patrick Rogers played last week these are 72 $7,300 guys that it doesn’t look like really anybody’s going to so that’s why I’m saying you can try and find your guys in the 6K range or you can just drop down here and pick the guys that you want from this range I

There’s guys at the bottom of this field who I think that fit like in well like why is Carson young $6,200 didn’t like I played him a bunch last year he was pretty good I yeah I don’t know I don’t know where you ended up on your cut

Sweats list of making money or losing money but I feel like he was on more losing list than than winning I know there was weeks he popped but man I don’t I don’t see much with a guy like him but what about Kevin kizner hopping out of the booth I’d I’d much rather

Play Carson young like I don’t know where Kisner’s game is at right now but Carson young could be an ascending player for all we know and he kind of fits that mold again like he’s going to hit every Fairway that’s could end up being key this week when you see where

He played well he played well at like Pete Dy in terms of The Travelers he had a top 10 the worldwide technology during the swing season he was top 20 at the Heritage like he plays the shorter courses well he was top he was t21 at

Colonial once you get him at a course that requires any sort of distance he’s absolutely screwed however at this tournament you can be all right he’s top 30 at Honda he’s 6200 bucks like if you want to get janky and play Connors with Oar you fit in cson young yeah I I I’m

Not going to do that this week but um you know CU When you go you talked about you go ludvig and Connors you still have 74 $400 left for four spots yeah but then you can fit in uh you know someone else up there no it’s yeah you can the m

Lets you I just now you can go Oar Connors Russell Henley and you’re Off to the Races yeah I I still think uh it’s one of the most overrated things in pjfs is people playing their super Diamonds in the Rough down low not getting enough of them getting just a piece and then

Realizing that is he a diamond in the rough though I guess that’s what people think he is I’m not saying you are you’re making a good case or I’m saying but what people do is they go I’m going to I know that C is better than this cuz

This I’m going to play him a bunch this week and that’s fine but he really has to do more than you everyone oh as long as he makes the cut that’s not really technically true and also the other side of it is is that the reason some people

That are very good at PGA DFS don’t care is because they know that even if you get him right at 1% you probably don’t have anything else right with him so all those lineups are going to go to somewhere to die and it doesn’t matter

Anyway so do we have any like what do you make of Rio this week Rio I said this last night with Kenny the you know people talk about people like grinding through the holidays and grinding in the offseason and all this stuff all the Japanese players are essentially playing

Like uh Kaya someone like him they’re they’re all they’ve all been in the mix I know the field strength totally different but they’ve been playing golf they play good golf they’re they’re fine like I’m okay with a couple of them there for sure that you mentioned like

Uh Ryu and then also uh Kaya who I just said just any Japanese tour players that have been grinding over there that are sort of in that 7K and up range I’m okay with anybody that you like down low I mean Carson Young Cy would be the other

One but uh like what do you do with Hayden Buckley I bet Hayden Buckley to win that might be good enough but he’s just shown he plays this if this is going to be a course with some of the stickiest course history that we’ve seen year-over-year I mean Buckley’s played

It twice has never finished worse than 12th came second last year yeah I don’t like two two times sample size means he’s good here so I’m not going to probably for a $6,600 guy I’m saying when there’s a million options there’s 83 other guys in that range alone do you

Really think that he gets up there like what about toasty at 66 like he’s he could be like a legit guy on the PGA yeah toasty could be like 1% and Buckley could be like six or seven it’s I don’t think 6K range gets to 10% anymore very

Often it’s the 7ks are the new sixes we’ve talked about this plenty where the 7K is where the steam picks up but at the end of the day like if if Buckley Burns me again and his back in the mix again he just burns me like that that’s

Fine the one that the model really liked uh mainly because he had a great swing season is Ryan Moore and this would be like the I don’t know where his game stands it seems like it’s like circling back around and being good again but this is a historically a Primo Ryan

Moore type course hit some Fairways hit some wedges make some putts but through the swing season he was 13th Fifth and eighth yeah that I I wouldn’t hate something like that again because actually we have some recent form I always care more about that even though this is a course history week and

I get it I’m still going to look at that stuff I was looking at Grayson Sig as well uh again at least has history here I don’t care as much about what the results were because it’s again two-year sample but eighth and 28th in his last

Two two of his last three so I I was looking at him down here he he could be fine in pretty much either category I think like if there was birdies to be made he can have those days in pop if it ends up getting a little bit tighter

Then it’s still probably fine I think he could still be in the mix at that price the ones that I’m seeing popping and like you said probably not going to get to 10% ownership down in the 6K range Michael Kim Doug gim gim Reaper Ryan Moore Grayson Sig Hayden Buckley and

Then Damon Callum Taran like that type of guy you know $6,900 and again like this could just be a play of is this guy just better than what his price is and it will get adjusted very soon so you can get in early when no one seems to

Want to use him but as I recall Robert McIntyre is a good player and he 6,900 bucks yeah I think he’s been playing pretty good too hasn’t he just some of the events he was playing overseas and stuff we’ve been hearing a lot more about him talking about it so I

These are all probably fine lineups and they’re different constructions that’s really the key so but this is how you would attack a higher entry smaller field with this sort of I’d be fine with something like this where again I don’t know if this is how I’m going to attack

It but what I would do is I’d be look I’ll wait till everything comes out final but to your what your question is in the point I attack it in roster construction and some talent and some differentiation that way versus trying to if I can just get this $6,100 guy to
