MP5 has got the meat straight behind the middle and then blooming not a lot around the else around the other parts the mp20 was okay MP18 went full full on across so like a slab of metal across like T TN 87 was it built on something
Like that any way all across and then the mp20 went so it slanted off slightly at the toe then 221 come with a little bit more slant on the toone and a little bit off the heel and now they’re moving again towards the MP5 which the MP5 is basically that
Isn’t it it’s like a v in the middle and that is what you’re going to get which it does mean potentially you’re going to get a much more solid feel from the middle but if you start deviating around the face especially horizontally heel toe you might have a little bit of a fun
Time with front or north north south front back dispersion I’m not saying that’s true it’s just so from the physics of looking at it and the physics would suggest that if you put more mass in the middle and less Mass around the outside um the okay without going crazy

On I’m tailoring my reviews more so where the speed consensus is of how fast I should be swinging for the golf clubing question okay everyone swings at different speeds so it’s very very difficult to turn around and say right well only golfers that swing at 74 milph

So the 225 is getting a little bit long in the tooth when you compare it to the modern modern day stuff not of its time but it was one of the best of its time but you put it to now and effectively with the increase of tungston effectively being used I mean that’s
What it is we are talking about multimaterial in the 245 it’s a hollow body multimaterial head and it is designed to try and help people as much as possible so you are going to have the biggest Gap in difference where technology is input so from the blade
Where what can you do really with the blade you can change it athetics and change your CG position to try and help against strike and stuff like of course you can do you can get the two 43 and make micr slots bigger and stuff like that yes you can
Um but there’s a certain thing you can do with blades but as you go up in the size especially you can have a bit more um Free Will and free uh rain to uh do some Tweaky Tweaky they the 245 currently I am quite excited about it is
Very very forgiving they’ve got 47 Gram now nearly 50 gr of tungston in the 245 up from its 28 or 30 so a considerable upgrade it’s lower in the head it’s still not touching the sole so the the sole believe it or not conflex during impact the reason why they don’t have it
On the on the sole directly obviously for center of gravity placement it’d be brilliant if it was right on the on the sole as in inside but as low as you POS we can do but the problem by actually touching physically touching the sot is that then it stops the so from flexing
And giving you an extra little bit of help especially when you hit it low on the face um so it’s still floating but it’s very very close at the S right let’s catch up um make sure I’m not missing anything um Ian hello Ian hi Jay

Is not a very big Golf Club yeah not very big you compare that to a cobra MB Cobra MB is looking wise smaller if you go to some of the uh of the uh what’s it called Brands direct consumer Brands some of them are smaller
So I I know there was a certain amount of Kickback especially on the forums about oh why did Mauna have to go small again they’re not it’s not like they’re going okay we’re now cutting the head length of a 79 down to 70 mm it’s not
It’s still going to be of a certain size it’s just certain 1 and a half mm smaller yeah right let’s go have a quick make sure I don’t miss on anything here I’m trying to scroll up but it’s not allowing me as you can see by the shaky screen um so um
Don says so a mixed two fours pitching wed 99 892 41 89 79243 and six and five and two4 mix and match possibly but the Lofts are going to be interesting because obviously you’re running a one club gap between 241 245 as in when I say that uh 79 say for a
34° 241 a 30° 245 79 so there and 69 and a 241 is 30° so there’s your one club gap 7 for seven but it’s a 7 to six so you either going to have to do some very interesting bendy strong and bendy weak to marry the two or you’re going to have
To double up and what I mean by double up you’re going to have to have two of the same golf clubs like two s irons or something like that so you can and just make the double up one half inch longer I’ve just I’ve discussed that before but
I mean it’s definitely doable cuz we done it I’ve done it plenty of times on 22122 3225 especially on the 221 225 because obviously they look so blooming similar and now even it’s a case you’re going to be struggling to try and tell these apart you can tell them apart because
Obviously one is slightly bigger than the other and one has got slightly more aggressive Mar round so this one here as you can see um slightly thinner soles Etc um that’s probably not a great example uh there’s that one there there we go so you can see slightly difference
In so thickness y um Top Line slightly thicker in 245 yes but we’re not talking massively and look they are the main things they look very very similar so Bonk possible good Bailey hello Bailey um is a 243 significantly small than the 223 I’ve just said that hard to go away
From my 21 T100 but might consider 2 41 243 Blend or a set of 243s um 243 have it in my hands here is it considerably smaller um no is it smaller yes it is I’ve got my um old old I’ve got my two two three media samples over
There and effectively I will just whack this into a shaft and put them up um together so that’s what I will do when I get my media samples through I think I’ve got five seven and nine coming and I will put them up against when I do the
Compare between 223 2 43 I’ll do the yeah guys we are talking about a it’s a model don’t I I want to get I want to manage people’s expectations here because when obviously the hype comes from a new mauno launch are no different to a new tailor mate launch or a
Callaway launch or something like that people can get in their heads a little bit that these things are going to go to the moon now what we are talking about is an incremental uh change if you already have 223 and I wouldn’t necessarily throw them away and get don’t throw them away but
Obviously sell them on but I wouldn’t be jumping out there to instantly get 243 the 243 is going to have benefits over 223 because of the micr slot inside the micr slot inside has changed now again this bit that I’m going to put up on the screen I have seen on American
Not American on Japanese Um if I can find it I have seen it and so if I can say I’ve seen it which I have done I can show it because this has been on a Japanese website so I am not going to get in trouble here by putting this out
Here as you can see there guys you got a flow micro slot from eight Ion with no slot to a 67 to four and five you can see the six and the Seven have got a smaller slot and the four and five is a bigger wider slot the wider and longer
Slot in the four and five is to help obviously with the increased launch and faster ball speeds Etc um that is obviously to promote a higher flight and increased carry now generally speaking guys remember your carry in the longer irons is always going to be the one that
Suffers through the issue with speed the slower you are the harder it is to launch those uh longer irons so if you’re someone who really likes the longer irons then something like that is going to help okay even with the help of the micr slot and the redesigned micr
Slot it will be it will be more beneficial than 223 absolutely it will how much will it marginally we are not talking something which is going to be hitting 223 hit 2 43 and you stand there Gob smacked flip my sticks what is going on
Is not going to be like a hybrid it’s not just going to launch off at a what the heck happened there it is going to be a small amount but small thing so again if you running 223s would I jump out and get 2 43s no I wouldn’t I’ll be
Honest no you you there this the difference is going to be so it’s the justification of money if you had no money justification worries whatsoever and you’ve just got money burning whole in your pocket and you want the best that you can get well then get them absolutely because there will
Be there will be benefits over the 223 no different to the 245 will absolutely be again I’ve done my certain amount of testing with 245 at the moment and I can already tell you there is a difference between 225 and 245 the new one so that
One yes but again if you’ve got 225s I wouldn’t like be selling them on eBay and jumping out and buying these 245 straight away um absolutely test them but depending on what your justification is money against performance that’s individual to everybody you’ll have to make that decision for yourself right um let’s
Make sure I don’t miss any of these um Drew says when it comes to a combo set I’m considering as a 14 handicap going four to S and 245 who uses a 4 iron nowadays 4 iron and a 245 is it something like 212° um in 245 then 241 and8 to pitching
Which good combo uh yes but or go eight iron in 245 as well depends um eight iron you’ve got plenty of Loft so so if you’ve got um Mis strikes happening which of course 14 handicapper or any handicapper golf doesn’t matter if you’re a um teaching pro everyone Miss strikes stuff um
Having the more forgiving head will always make the difference it will always be more helpful however there’s a point of where loft is your biggest friend and as soon as you start going a iron you could potentially I would say if you’re going to do the transition the
Problem you’re going to have is lofting so I did a lot of sets uh when I was custom fitting and coaching fulltime i’ done a lot of sets to going 221 225 blend and they stopped at 79 and they had two 79 the two4 22 yeah two the
22579 was half inch longer and no Loft adjusted because of the standard Loft adjustments are different between 221 and 225 no different to the 241 and the 245 as soon as you get to a s ey they are like for like from a one up so like
A six sign it’s the same as a seven in a two four five and so by just adding half an inch to the 245 or 225s uh 7 it acted like the 6 iron 241 and had the same Loft as this um 6ine 241 or 221 it just
Had the technology of the 245 which helped increase launch bit springier face because obviously Mis strikes happen more as shaft increases and having the more of a forgiving multi VAR thickness ctech face um is beneficial it’s up to you but there are multitude of ways you can do
It I would always say go if you’re going for performance always go for the performance in that case go eight ir and the 245 as well um but there’s a lot of Loft on an 8on the the difference between what the margins are with an eight iron is smaller than the seven and
The the nine is even smaller than the eight and the pitch image is even smaller than that and of course you get to a point of where effectively doesn’t matter what technology you’ve got it’s like the the classic wedges idea when you’re hitting a 58 degree wedge and people go on about
The fact that I can’t play bladed wedges and then you got the game improvement wedges the cavity back wedges well actually the the how the how the um technolog is working is actually helping you vertically it’s not helping you forward because the loft is past 45°
So it gets to a point where technology when you’ve got like a a 79 with 34° or 30° and something like that and then you the face is looking forward and all the technology is helping that golf ball stay straight left and right but as soon
As you start putting the Loft up like this well that’s not really left it’s not helping at all just doesn’t really work but there you go um Bailey says is a 243 significantly smaller than 223 I’ve just done that one um Don says swing speed 9 79 to 83
Miles an hour please it would be pointless da I’ll be honest when it comes to that because with these now these are now starting to change a little bit I always had obviously these blades are generally speaking going to be for players of faster swing speed so
There’s no point really me doing these at 79 mph or whatever because it’s going to alienate the vast majority of people which are going to be using these so I will have to do these faster when you’re looking at when you’re looking at even 245 now 245
Is now changing I used to call this the blending iron with the forged I used to say that these are the blending irons you could call the bridging irons sorry you can actually quite easily have a set of these and the forged in one the thing is now the The Lofts have not
Changed however the technology and also the design of their heads Etc because they’re getting smaller there is now a bit more of a split between the pro and the jpx and so yes you can Bridge them but it’s a little bit where you could quite easily it’s not
Too much of a jump going from jpx 923 forged and then into a 225 because a 225 was basically a very very similar size to forge Frac smaller but very very similar size the technology is such I mean it but now with 245 it gets a bit smaller
It’s it’s now starting to become its own thing and so the blurring of the bridge is now starting to separate a bit and so you either am becoming more of a pro player or a jpx player so I’ll run I’ll probably run the um uh mid 80s to try and keep as many
People happy as I possibly can do because of the separation starting to become now on the uh on the uh misso Pro so we’ve got uh new Muno golf balls on the eth um no don’t believe so these new Muno golf balls that we’ve had for a year
Now they’re not new they suppose if they’re old if they’ve been you kind of get the idea um yeah they are around and they will stay around they’re a blooming good ball um they are mauno best ball they’ve ever made and if truth be told they Pro

Technical Tom FY is the stealth HDs from tailor made they are not as springy out the middle as they could be because it automat automatically they’ve made the outside of spring as they can do their basic within reason hybrid heads but they’ve slowed the middle down now
That’s not official and I apologize if to anyone from Taylor Maid who saying that’s not right we haven’t done that but that’s every single time I test the HDs that is what I find is the fact that the middle is not as spring as it should be technically for its construction and

a ball will be relative to the club being on the ground the the ball being on the ground and the ball obviously having a curving uh surface so because of the curving surface and the curving with Loft you're always going to be hitting under the equator yeah so There is a a calculation I won't bore you with it that's why the dots are lower than what foresight say they should be done a video about that one which way there uh that way there you go and eight if you imagine 8 millimeters low from those dots are very Low on the face so you don't have to go low on the face much to get a thin excuse me there we go now if I go back to that Miss again that was a Miss 26° of Loft that's what I was generally speaking um delivering uh within very short amount 25 something degrees so yeah within reason uh faces 1 degree open 1.33 efficiency that's still going 29 yards in the air and 45° Cent angle from a Miss on the face 8 mil low that everything says obviously go lower that is blooming good at a club speed A Reduced Club speed of 81 mph hour um it's it is very very good and without sort of doing too much on it obviously because I can't I'm not allowed to these new mauno Pro irons that is a no grips yes because um grip is a very interesting issue um because it's not something that you can Literally just pop on pop off pop on pop off and test because of the uh well you can if you've got a uh like an airline and you can blow them off and put them back on again you can do that however there is no such thing as uh Logic when it comes to grips the old adage of if you have a grip too thin a grip you can over release it goes left or right and the golfer and if you have a too thick of grip you can lack of release and it can go right or if you All of these different things you can say with it's an utter bunch of rubbish because as soon as you put the human in it everything goes wonky and it just doesn't work out the way it needs to so if there was an actual like pattern of saying one thing leads to another leads To another then you can with grip it is so so individual that you would have to test and this is the thing when it comes to grip grip is the still the uh um the most underused part of custom fitting because you have to test with the Individual now I I would always say this guys if you can um test if you can do your custom fitting with your coach who knows about how you deliver and stuff like that then yes um but it is something that generally speaking you can't test it is a bit of a Pain and a lot of golfers go through a pattern and and a period of exploratory searching for exactly what they want feel wise and stuff like that cuz some people are affected by release patterns and some people are completely opposite to release patters it's just a mindfield croaky croaky excuse me Carl Said was playing some ctap at x130 oh Big Boy uh last week uh the weight really help played uh very well strike was excellent until the 15th when I started getting tired is there a similar lighter Shaft or visit the gym visit the gym car um the ctap 130 is a Goliath Under the uh DNA system if um you've got someone who's very very quick aggressive and just load the shaft something mental CTX is going to be on there always is it is a scaffold pole of a shaft um a very very good shaft love the shaft myself I do like the shaft Myself it's as stable as heck just you have to be a beast to play it uh well you know you don't it's just that you have to play you have to play at a certain level that you enables you to continue to play all the way through and not get tired And so um it's one of those ones where go down the gym but yeah uh Neil says weight of the grips does matter though it does because obviously it changes swing weight Etc but again that can be counteracted depending on who's setting up the golf CBS Etc so bigger grip with a higher Weight could impact um could impact the way it plays definitely will do um if you don't change if you just change the grip and do not change the uh swing weight Dynamics or counter the swing weight dynamics of the different grip then yeah it will definitely change how It plays the problem is humans react in so many different ways that and there is no pattern to the way they react all we can say is if you did something there would be a change but we don't know what that change will be because you can put That same change with 10 people and you'll get 10 different results because they all react a different way so you have to test with the individual and it will be something as DED as okay we've got a custom fit set golf clubs um I think I'm I'm doing really go system This or whatever it be can we just test if I would just put a new grip of a different this or a different weight or a different thickness whatever it be different construction um reduced taper um any different grip of of many different varieties to see what the difference Over a certain period of time is and if it's something that I want to migrate to um that or not or or revert back to you do it with one and you haven't got too much of a problem and you do it one grip At a time if you do two grips at a time of two different you you're reacting to two different things and it's like the classic thing if you're trying to find out you got all these switches light is off you close your eyes and and you flick three switches on and you open Your eyes and the light is on you go okay that's good so one of these three switches turns the light on but which one was it because we've switched one three not one at a time so it's that kind of classic thing um Adan says I'm much happier with A thicker grip MMC plus4 midsize now that is a big boy um I've got uh on my clubs I've got um plus fours they're tall can't get my worms out and the the fact that people need to do that you can have the best custom fit in the world but because you you can't test grip unless you you can blow the grips off and put UND do but it's going to take Forever to do that so you need unfortunately if you've got a grip issue and you'll trying to search for a certain different feel or certain different release pattern or something different rather than looking at a swing change okay if it's fairly minor then grip yes if it's major swing but you've Got that option but unfortunately there is one of those ones if you say well I want something that's going to help me do this we can say right let's let's treat you as stereotypical let's as like what the myth priv we'll do this with your grip not knowing in any way shap or Form it's going to work or not it could work the opposite way around um but that's the first thing to test test if you are reactive to a grip change U over a period of time not just on one or two or three hits over a PES of however M Long and map them objectively either you do it objectively um or you get someone else to objectively um map what you're doing measure what you're doing with the results and then um yeah you can make decision that way so Ted says Ted Ted Ted I said I tried msze Grips on one of my iron sets and it was not good more dispersion left and right front and rear so I had them re regripped with standard grips yeah I mean I we had this conversation Ted would me about those um and that's the thing you don't know um there is no such Thing and it is a myth to say that if you have grips like the smaller grips you can over release it it will go left for a right-handed golfer and then the classic the opposite way um it just won't you you can't you cannot say that and this Is my problem that I have with a lot of stuff that gets put out on the internet on on YouTube that people turn around and say do this and fix your this you don't tell you what if they are honestly putting that content out there because they honestly think that if People did what they're saying that it was absolutely fix every single person's this then they live in a dream world and at best that that's ignorance at worst they knew they know full well that what they're putting out there is not going to affect everybody the way they saying They're saying that it is will do and it's effectively a little bit um deceptive um right so Ted say shows it all it's all individual as you say J yeah and it is unfortunately and you have to go through that process of self-exploration before you work out Which one you are and how you react to certain things and then if you wenter a slightly thinner grip then it would may or may not have uh a different um but there's there's always going to be like a goldilock Zone and um mine is with a Plus4 I mean I've tested many different grips over time and I've moved around from big and small um uh Custom Grips where I've built tapes around underneath to sort of just I know mess around a little bit and see how it works over time so um oh no my car's just gone I Know only go to the gym to use the vending machine that's like that great joke in it what's your favorite machine uh at the gym the vending YouTube drink but yeah so so so so so so so Um 243 I'm looking forward to testing 243 because when it comes to 223 I can remember because it was in the um modus Pro 115x I think it was might been stiff or X I can't remember it's the only shaft in my entire life which I have had an Adverse reaction to and unfortunately because I didn't have time to um sort my head out the Embargo obviously date come before I had managed to sort my problems out with that shaft um since no problem whatsoever and I just swing the um 223 is no different to anything else it was Just don't know what it could have literally just been a case of um because of pressure trying to get content made Etc with time constraints Etc that you have a bad day U because everyone has a bad day I have times sometimes where I'm ready to make content and I can't hit a Barn door it's that it's not that bad but you know you you have days where you think like today is not a productive time for me to film I'm going to be spending so much time filming something um the I'm will just edit today and then wake up tomorrow tomorrow will be a Different day and it is and there's no different we all play golf like that we why do we sometimes play golf and it just feels so easy well relatively easy and then other days you can absolutely have a mare and there's no logic whatsoever you haven't changed a swing Halfway through the night um it's just what it is but no the the 243 um I'm looking to looking forward to hitting this one um this has got obviously quite a bit of change to it yes it does look like a 225 um 225 uh mp25 where is That it's that thing when you move something you really wish you hadn't moved it where have I moved that to um that's not it that's see this what happens when you're moving stuff around I had the mp25 today where is it hello mp25 that's going to irritate me if I've Um if I can't find that now cuz it is around here somewhere poo sticks hate it when I can't find something it's around here anyway um but it does look very very similar to an mp25 mp25 obviously had bore on in it and this one has not got bore on uh this Has got copper underlay and it is also forged crale 4120 or or yeah something like that so it is different to the mp25 anyway but it has got micr slot and um mp25 excuse me wiy pops um had certain parts of technology so it's not the same As the mp25 before people turn around and save Mauna have just reinvented the mp25 they haven't they are a similar design but again guys when it comes to designs of golf clubs let's be honest there's only so amount of time that you can make a golf club or do something different and It looks different and so there will always there's going to be times in every manufacturer's um change of models that something is going to have a similar look to something that was possibly done 30 years ago or 15 years ago or never it will be um when you look under the hood of What's inside the 243 compared the mp25 was a completely completely different beast and if you look at years ago when it comes to mp25 Etc um really good out the middle and I would say there's not going to be much difference really between the mp25 and the new 243 out the Middle will there be a benefit of a 243 will it be faster off the face LOF for loft absolutely will do it will only be a um one and a half maybe 2 milph ball speed Loft for loft benefit on the 243 so not a lot What the big difference will be is when you start whacking a say an mp25 all over the face as compared to a 24 3 all over the face the difference that you're going to get in retention of ball speed the benefit of a 243 over an mp25 isn't I say I was going to say immeasurable it's not immeasurable of course you can measure it but effectively it's going to be yeah there's the difference more that you'll find Carl says oh no I only go to the gym use the vending not already um Got a run Jay be safe and well just Be look there he goes give it a hit a few times that's how how it looks and feels and then when it comes to the 245 I will do the exact same thing afterwards I'll just this is what it looks like this how it hits this how it Feels and this is what kind of golfer it's going to be for won't be doing any kind of forgiveness testing on that comparison as such review that preview as such for all of those that's going to be for the full on reviews the singular Reviews of 241 243 245 and I do the uh fullon because if I did full on on that the video would be forever and so that can be seen afterwards but I'll do that one first on the Monday Monday I'll then do 245 on the Tuesday I release the 243 On the Wednesday and the 241 on the Thursday so we'll have a week of mauno and then when different to the pro 225 in terms of saving money on a prior generation 225 when these drop okay hmb 225 there Was a small increment um I wouldn't have bothered buying a 225 if you already had an mp20 hmb okay um if you've got a hmbb and you're going to think about 245 there might be a good enough reason to test for the upgrade um however if you're looking Obviously from a point of view of saving money you're not going to be spending the money um that you're going to need to spend on two four fs and I won't lie Guys these are not cheap I am honest again and these have to be a Justified uh Expenditure no golf clubs are getting cheaper so uh if you're going to have to think about buying golf clubs in the next couple of years or whatever they are not getting cheaper they won't and so you wait two years and they're going to be the next ones the two six ones or Whatever it will be will beat and possibly quite some margin CU all manufacturers are doing the exact same things everyone is pushing cost of things up and up and up so yeah um that's the only justification but from your point of view if you've got a set of um Hmbs um and you're looking at possibly upgrading to save some and obviously saveing money because the two four FS will come out the 225s that are going to be around will be less which they will be um not a great deal less but there will be um I wouldn't bother we're Talking about an incremental difference in the 225 over the hmbb it's not a huge amount yeah there was difference yes there is there is a bigger difference between the hmb in the 245 and that is definitely worth a test but you're talking about a completely different Cost now in 2 years time when your hmbs are even older and the 245 is now being replaced by 265 or whatever they're going to be called then I would definitely say yeah they would be worthwhile upgrading uh Cody says thank you sir trying to save my wallet give the 10 Plus hand sets I already have a need to sell well yeah in that case if you can sell those 10 plus secondhand sets and your hmbs to pay for a brand new set of uh 245s then I would say that that is a point of doing and it would be a good Idea one thing I would me to say it than it is for email it um obviously the fact that I'm thinking about going uh multiple 10 gig uh cards and machines Obviously got 10 gig card in this one and also going to have a 10 gig in the new server my new storage attached server kind of idea if I'm going to go 10 gig switch though because a lot of 10 gig switches are RJ45 socket not SPF Plus you can go get the transceivers from SPF plus to RJ45 for the cable but then obviously we're talking about those transceivers are quite expensive to do every single one um moving it from RJ45 cuz obiously I've got cables Etc I mean I have to yeah um would it be easier Because RJ45 CA is quite easy and cheap to get and obviously you've got the uh switches that are 10 gig with rj45s would it be easier and cheaper to just buy a couple of uh 10 gig Nicks so dump the one that I've already got and the One that I've bought me know obviously not really that expensive but dump them for RJ45 10 gig NX instead they're slightly more expensive but obviously it's then RJ45 to RJ45 click click click click click no problem um Cody says quick followup on 765 versus mp20 okay yeah so dump the Nyx with I've Got like the solar flare SNF 7120 which is uh SPF um plus um and then go for something with yeah okay cool um quick follow-up on 765 which is quite an old one now wish versus mp20 hmb given same shaft and lofs which would you say our friend here to Play wow that would be an interesting one because Um I I couldn't honestly say because I can't remember enough of the 765 I've used the 765 and I've mapped the HM be quite well and I could tell you but I can't I can't say what the hate the uh 765 because I haven't mapped it I've Used it hit it quite a few times but I never mapped it like I did the hmb so I cannot say without guessing I can guess um but I I don't want to do that um struggling to hop on the hollow body wagon this is the problem now the I will Say this already that the 245 I I can feel that it's Hollow it does feel to me slightly more Hollow than 225 I need to hit 225 with it and 225 225 245 and see if it's just me um but you go to 241 W 2 four five there is a distinct Difference whether that people really care about or not but but then it's like whole idea review so you can tell what the differences are or not so if I was what would I do I understand your point I mean if I was going to go 241 and then move into something I would Struggle to go 245 because there was two much of an acoustic jump um would the project xar make them feel different pal no not really I mean there you're talking resonance from the head the resonance from the Head is by far the biggest you do get shock from the Shar But you mainly get shock from the shaft from a very very offc center hit that's the time so like like thin that is the that's wonderful when you get one of those you get like a properly good and then obviously you hit high in the face you can have the ground interaction Which is going to be in interfering with any kind of feel um hit toe or heel you get twist uh around the shaft axis but again you're talking that the main thing is low on the face you get the fuzzy fingers Etc um that it's more so the the acoustic frequency Of the head that is the most important thing the acoustic frequency of the head for feel and so the shaft can make a small difference um especially graphite you can have a graphite which has the effect of dampening definitely steel doesn't necessarily dampen so it doesn't really matter what kind of Steel you Have on there there'll be nuances difference but it'll be so nuanced your ear won't really be picking much up whatsoever it's all down to the head to for the shaft to make any perceivable difference you have to go graphite which the thing is if you're sensitive to Shaft um Ben profile the fact that you're using something like graphite and you're nowhere near needing graphite that will be the biggest denominator in while you feel something rather than obviously the vibration of the frequency of the head if that makes sense so also Have a set of MP fires but they but they may be out of my playing uh capability they may be out of my playing capability um that depends I would honestly tell you what Cody if you can go take your 76 fs and obviously Loft adjusted and stuff Like this is a little bit difficult but you have to sort of like okay I'm going to hit a seven iron or I'm an eight iron of one or the other whatever it be and see how you're going to do it it might be closer to doing it 7 seven or 8 and Seven or something like that but and then map them map what the differences are if you can as you get on on quad you can see the differences in uh your strik obviously quad can read strike to the millimeter or 0. one of a millimeter but Yeah um then you'll be able to do it properly rather than physically guessing but Carl says I have some TTS with vsss but a bit of foam in the god in the yeah in the shaft uh I couldn't tell any difference over the nonv again this is The this is the thing I mean we are talking very much so the Acoustics that you get is very much so from the residance on the head now the these 241s resonate differently to the bnk to the 245 you cannot help that is a hollow body now you can put uh Harmonic impact technology inside the head to try and control its resonance yes you can but it will always reson resonate yeah it will always resonate differently to the solid head now obviously this is not um 1025e as well this is 4135 crale and so again there's Going to be a difference because it's a different metal you can grain flow Forge it this is grain flow Forge all the way from the huzzle all the way to the end that whole bit there is grain flow forg the main body of this is grain flow Forged yes you're going to be putting on certain ones you're going to put like a um a 431 stainless steel plate or is it 43 I can't remember but it's I think it's 43 stainless steel plate on the back s of the like the 99 and pitching Wedge Etc but effectively the whole bit which is important which is to huzzle all the way down into the toe that is all forged grain flow forged still you have the resonance and you can go you can tell the difference between hang on how did I do it beforehand Yeah did that come through I will do one more time uh KL says and it is can't help it it is a hollow button so when you're hitting something it comes through as a higher pitch what comes through as harsher comes through as crisper comes through As whatever word you want to use as subjective I a feel it's very very difficult but um KL says so is the nine and pitching where is not Hollow then I tell you what uh right should I tell you I tell you right 2 to8 laser welded grainflow Forge 4135 crale face and neck for 40 431 stain is still back so the even in the 79 you've got a grain flow forged body yeah um and face in the chomo 4135 so face and neck everything yeah then there's a 43 on stainless steel back the whole back is Then stainless steel um plate uh you got 47 G of tungsten an eight IR has no tungsten for a smoother transition the nine to gap wedge is laser welded partial Holly bodied and I will um put this on the screen it'll probably be allowed I may or may not I can't Remember but we'll we'll do this so you can very very quickly see so the 2 to eight iron is like that so you can see you've got that but then on the eight iron has no tungsten and then the nine to pitch and wedge is made like that that is still Hollow bodied But it's partial Hol construction yeah the reason why they do the partial Holo construction see you don't have a huge feel and performance difference through the whole thing they do it for absolute um seamlessness when it comes to um how the technology works and obviously how you Distance is work etc right very quickly we have um Cody saying yes sounds very have we got any more have we got any more so no we've done everything that's I'm no Longer convinced graphite shafts are softer than steel USD mamia tsp PX darts Mishu mmts feel a bit harsher than the PX lzs and nipon 12s in my opinion the lzs and 120s are a very unique shaft they've got a very very weak second third from the back downwards um Ben Profile very very weak in the um second third part or one third up from the um from the tip it does it does affect feel and it does affect launch and it does affect the sound and all that lot and works very much so like a great transitional Golf Club into graphite and the interesting thing is of the weight class that they are they're 115 120 or whatever they are I think they 115 I think it is for the uh lzs and they're great so I the problem with with shafts is that you can say they're this and say they're That but you put it in a human's hands and everything completely changes and so you can always say there's this classic with the myths of golf and there are billions of the blooming things which are mostly wrong um and I can say them and say them and say them but the Problem is if people are indoctrinated to believe a certain thing it takes a while for people to want to be open to the fact that what they' have been told necessarily isn't true um because again if people made their buy decisions based on certain things people do not want to Be have their eyes open to the fact they've been sold a dud or if there's a reason why they can't do this or do that it's actually because of this because I've been sold something different that's the whole idea of what I do anyway so right guys uh it's blend Do you think there is more forgiveness in the 245 and could it be easier to transition from jpx into pro with this model?
On a day when I'm really on with the irons and approach play and hitting a lot of greens, I used to say "throwing darts."

Grip: I've got MCC+4 Standard, +2 layers of tape. Going down to 0, I noticed both more bad "flips", as well as increased tiredness in my hands. +1, a bit less solid on flat out shots. Midsize +0 – too big, didn't feel in control. And the +4 series is nearer standard weight than many layers of tape. Esp when you take the changed taper into account
