Red weight shaft ring #shorts

This weighted shaft ring is actually meant to be used on an iron or wedge for warming up but can also be used on certain styles of putters
.
I say certain styles because ones with a thicker grip won’t allow the red ring to go over them and some styles of putter hosels will mean that it drags along the floor or even covers the centre of the face
.
If you can get it to work on your putter tho then it can help with a few things
.
One of those being that if you are prone for leaving a putt short, using this for 5-10 minutes before you tee off will make your putter feel so much lighter when you remove the weight
.
That is because the weight is very heavy in terms of adding weight to a golf club and so you have to put a lot more force into hitting a putt. So then once the weight is removed if the same force is applied to the same putt, then well you definitely won’t be leaving it short
.
It also means that if you are playing somewhere that has slow greens and you are struggling to get it to the hole then again this can help you adjust the pace a bit easier
.
As it does have to rest on the shaft of the putter, this means that it will likely be on the heel of your putter unless you have something centre shafted.. This can also help you to rotate the toe through at impact as well and if you are prone for leaking putts out to the right then this could also be a nice little training aid to help and prevent that
.
Its definitely not going to be for everyone but for anyone struggling with anything that I have mentioned then it is probably worth giving a go as you can pick these up pretty cheap as well for just £4-5 roughly
