Better team but yeah the more composed the more professional team but when you look at at Manchester United and what we expect and what these players are capable of at times just it’s I don’t know it’s pathetic I hate going over the top with words because it’s easy me sitting here on the

Couch on the other side of the world with a beer and a packet of Doritos saying he should do this he should do that I understand it’s easy for me but my God every team we come up against this make it look easy West Ham made it

Look easy Liverpool make it look easy I’m sure when we play whoever next when we play in Luton I’m sure Luton will make it easy one of Lon was actually one of the teams we were lucky enough to beat um I do believe this season but

Where do you start on that because as I said the performance look if gacha had the ball on his right foot three or four times in that first half is that a different game yeah maybe but anony had the ball on his left foot at different

How often do do you expect these players to S of pull out of the hat and do something for us once a month once every two months this season maybe once every six months a lot of results have hurt me this season um Newcastle was probably

The worst cuz in regards to I did think we have a chance at potentially winning the caribel cup that was um obviously we knocked out of that tournament and knocked out in devastating fashion so the Newcastle won hurt me that actually hurt me more than the Manchester City

One then we lost back toback 3-0 at Old Trafford this one just this hurts this stings and look I’ve got no feelings towards West Ham I still don’t I still think they should be deducted points every season they they sing that bubble song I don’t get it gr

Men singing about that I do think they should start with a points deduction but given the way they’re playing this season the way we’re playing they’ll probably be above us even if they did start with a points deduction for that for the singing of that song so um this

One hurts just from the fact that a few people put it up earlier Big Daddy we knew this was coming I think before in the preview with Larry I might have said yeah I can see Man United winning slightly confident it’s something we just say Obviously deep down on the

Furthest thing from confident like I just knew you knew Manchester United will lose I have made over EAD who’s been on the podcast many a time we’re just saying you can just smell it you can just smell a defeat tonight you can smell a bad performance and a defeat

Modern football is completely different so that’s something we have to adjust to and adapt to I’m fully aware of what on is doing when he stands on the ball you’re obviously trying to entice West Ham on you’re trying to bring them attract them to so you can play that

Ball and maybe break a line I’m fully aware of that but if that team is impressing you’re just going to stand there for 30 seconds and waste time life is short start playing some football okay try and play Fast if it doesn’t work okay come back then sit

Then trying to sort of bring them on but if they’re just going to sit start playing some football see what happens and um look On’s this risky goal goalkeeper start taking some risks okay play the ball forward if it doesn’t happen okay come back reset then we’ll

Slow the place down but um yeah look I can’t blame monana for the defeat but the jury is still out there and um that’s a discussion for the summer um in regards we we’ll get a look um without him with be in a couple weeks now to

Play only have one or two more games before he does go afrian cup um fullbacks here I thought were fine actually thought Luke Shaw actually to be fair had a good game I thought and another game with better people in the front three maybe Luke Shaw has an

Matches I thought Kima and Johnny Evans were very ultimately they they on the receiving end of a two-nil defeat a center back so you can’t sort of write home about their performance but the longer that went on if it did stay nil nil if you handing out man of the match

Awards you probably say was a pretty sort of mature display by both of them so look huge congratulations to quen B for making his debut unfortunate circumstances it won’t be one he’ll be able to remember too fondly and um it was good to see from a Manchester United’s point of view Johnny Evans

Academy product ker Academy product it was good to see them um s that partnership and and all things considered with a tough what West Ham can be a tricky team to deal with especially when they do get the ball in that direct fashion I thought they dealt

With it quite well now they’ve walked off the pitch 2-0 losing 2-0 so it’s not something I think they can sort of look back and sort of watch their highlight compilation of it but if you take away the score line I think Johnny Evans and kwha did okay

Compared to what you sort of move forward off the pitch kobby Mania I thought yeah unfortunately with this the goal he’s going to make mistakes he’s going to make worse mistakes than that later on in his career in in bigger moments that that it’s part of growing

Up he’s made a mistake cost a goal I’m not going to have any issue with um kobby Manu there I thought he had had a good game um covered a lot of ground of picked up some nice pockets in terms of helping us playing out from the back so kobby Mana I thought

Um sort of solid game you’re sort of seven out of 10 if you’re six seven out of 10 if you’re ranking it um the whole balance in terms of that we’ll have in this discussion pre-match do you play Scott Momin do you play Bruno Fernandez

You play one of them you play one next to manage you play one in the 10 what’s that balance as I said if you took away the Manchester United name if you took away the context of our situation our emotion towards these players you look at that Midfield performance compared to previous Midfield

Performances at Old Trafford earlier this season when teams just walk through us it wasn’t good it wasn’t vintage Manchester United it was a little bit more controlled Scott mctom will get a lot of CR criticism for what he is his game was sort of you’re six out of 10

Sort of L bro Fernandez but obviously because who who he is and the fans perception of him at the moment he’ll get a two out of 10 in the performances but Bruno Fernandez and Scot Thomas sort of six out of 10 adequate performances but you’re playing for

Manchester United you need to be more than adequate you need to make things happen and um they weren’t making things happen against a team like West Ham and um that is where ultimately the difference is we can sit here and say okay little bit better little bit more

Solid little bit more structured than previous weeks is that something we that’s something I will I’ll highlight and I’ll point to it’s not something I can celebrate well the team put in a more dis and structured performance okay I would expect the youth team to do that I

Would expect the reserves team to do that you DN what I’m expecting um the first time to do a little bit more than that so SC tomin Bruno Fernandez as said a little bit more structured a little bit more disciplined but I don’t think West Ham POS too many challenges so um

And I didn’t really think we were pressing too high with our front three we were sort of letting them play in that first phase of playing out from the back so that we weren’t really allowing ourselves Bruno Fernandez to be go closing their goalkeeper and leaving KOB

Man by himself so because of the way we were pressing as a team um I thought our Midfield was a little bit more compact which just naturally just made it a little bit more structured I thought individually though in terms of when it came to responsibility and making things

Happen um yeah not quite enough and um yeah it is what it is um how many more Midfield discussions do we want as a fan base so like what’s the answer if you tell me a better Midfield Tree in there if we played am would we have won I don’t think would

Have and that’s not to say he shouldn’t have played my Midfield selection before the match and as much as I love mctom my Midfield selection was Bruno amrabat and Mana was it going to win that probably not so I just you name your favorite three midfielders for Manchester United

I can guarantee it’s not balanced I don’t I don’t know what the answer is in Midfield and front three gacho look I like him I think we’ve almost seen not the peak of gacho but I think gacho is what he is one weeks he’s going to put in the

Top corner with an overhead kick other weeks he’s going to sort of look like a school kid and um I think that’s going to be just gacho’s career um starting to worry about that contract we put him on that’s a big contract for a young kid um

I back him I support him hope he does well the jury’s out on gacho for me um and again he was close to a very good game so if he puts one of those left foot crosses in and that bounces off oiling and goes in and we win one nil

And he gets an assist we’re talking about an 8 n out of 10 performance by gacho again that’s football and fine margins it’s a disappointing loss and we’re looking at his performance in a negative light now so um put him on whatever our frustrations are towards Anthony and gacho and rashford and Anon

Whoever can we just start playing him on different Wings put MC on the left for five minutes just five minutes put gacho on the right put put rash on the right just put him on the natural side for five minutes see what happens if we concede four goals I’ll hold my hands up

And say I’m wrong Eric you go back to what you doing but just for 5 minutes can we put them on their natural sides just see what happens just see what happens Anthony my concern with I can understand the constant selection regards to he’s going to get through

More work work rate than any any of our wide players and that’s not something we want to sort of discuss or highlight as fans but from a manager’s point of view that is the case but he’s letting himself down in regards to he the the thing that was coming to my mind and

This has always been the case but the thing was definitely highlighted for me he’s playing footall foot does not work in England it doesn’t that’s not to say for Is Not Great doesn’t say it doesn’t have great sort of um benefits to to the way they play Rolling the ball under your studs

On the wet grass in England when tackles are flying in the crowd’s on top of you and you’re not in good form it doesn’t work and that’s fine if a player comes in and tries that that’s part of their game that that’s who that’s how he plays

He should always play your natural game any coach will say go play your natural game it’s not working so you have to learn you have to adapt you have to change things Chris Ronaldo probably the worst player you’ve ever seen in a Manchester United shirt when he came in

He learned hang on this isn’t work I’m going to have to change the way I do things he changed the way he did things what did he go on to do he went on to become the best player in the league best player in the world potentially the greatest football ever because he

Learned from his mistakes I don’t mind Anthony’s mistakes if he addresses them he’s not he’s made the same mistake every I have no issue with him cutting in I’ve no no one has an issue with any player in World football on the left hand side cutting in on their right foot

That’s a a Modern Trend everyone does that we all have an issue with Anthony cutting in on his left foot I’ve got no issue with that personally it’s rolling the ball under his studs that is what’s killing him it’s not the cutting in and I just think he has to take responsibility for

That but I also have to look to Eric tan hog he has take responsibility for that he has to see it in front of him and I understand the defensive work work rate he gives him and no one else is going to give that on that right hand side or

Even the left hand side to be fair so you do need that sort of that work rate I’m aware of that but um there is that balance and ultimately put me out there I’ll work a little bit okay for the amount of money it cost and we could obviously get into

The Lor W article where o Sol valued Eric um sort of Anthony at about 20 25 million Manchester aax wanted around 50 million Manchester United paed 80 million when you do look at the price tag it’s not Anthony’s fault but you do look at the price tag work rate’s one

Thing you do need to produce is’s not producing with the ball and um I don’t know where where the answer is there cuz I do think if you drop Anthony we become a far worse team uh we caned a lot more goals but we need to start scoring goals

And I think we may be a better chance at scoring goals without Anthony so what’s the answer there I’ve no idea hland up front he’s not getting any service just not getting any so I don’t think he’s I think he’s been fine for for young player take away the price T just say

Young striker coming in playing for Manchester United First season in the Premier I’d say yeah he’s doing good he’s just not given any help so so I think he needs to do maybe a little bit better but I can’t expect too much from him but he’s just not given any

Help like just someone cross the ball get it in the Box Pump It long I understand good football maybe good football will sort of create more chances in the long term I’m aware of that but in the short term just get the ball for get it to him make something

Happen if you get if you pump the ball up I don’t want to say kick and Chase it’s I’m not saying that but if you kick the ball up there 50 times a Defender is not going to be perfect 50 times he’s going to make a mistake once he’s going

To trip over he’s going to misplace the header make something happen and I don’t think we’re giving him that opportunity for something to happen and um I feel for him because as good as he’s been and he has been good you look what he’s done in the Champions League and he is

Offering more up front in that role than Marcus rashford and Anthony Marshall has done this season ultimately they put him in a Liverpool shirt or a Chelsea shirt and what would our reaction to be to hoyland this season he has scored and it’s Christmas it’s Christmas tomorrow

And he hasn’t scored and that’s not to be critical of well he does deserve a little bit of criticism for that but when you do sort of look at the stats and you do look at the facts and figures in front of us he’s probably right he

Hasn’t scored in the Premier League he’s probably been given two or three good chances in the Premier League this season like the ones that sort of spring to mind there was the one rashford crossed in and it sort of hitting Point Blank Range in front of the goalkeeper

There was the Allison one last week they’re two that spring to mind I can’t think of other ones he really should scor now I’m sure there are one or two but um yeah I like hland but it goes back to when we did sign him said okay

This is good this is a good bit of business if Harry Kane comes in and hland a striker Off the Bench the last 20 minutes Harry Kane’s off scoring goals in Germany that comes down to the recruitment um that is where the criticism lies in and around the hland

Situation I’ve seen links with this gassi um in stutgart he’s apparently scoring a few goals over in Germany a lot of people saying that’s brilliant for me an absolute waste because what’s going to happen we’re going to sign him tomorrow bit of PR Manchester Su we’ll go and get Grassi Striker scoring goals

He’ll he’ll take the load off oand okay that’s brilliant he’s African he’s going to go to the African Cup next week look I just you can see Manchester United signing this guy him going to the African Cup getting injured and not playing a game for Manchester United I just

A week we say look we’re paying these players too much Mone not going to pay 200 Grand a week so we won’t get him we’ll have to go and get someone else then when that play is not performing and we’re going to r as a fan base wi

And we go get the good player until it changes until we get structural change and the culture around the club changes we will just be rinsing and repeating which is which is what we’re doing um we need to clear out the dead wood and build again yeah I don’t

Know what a rebuild looks like under new ownership and the financial fair play model and sort of that just the general dressing I don’t want to see what Chelsea did did um I think as bad as we are Chelsea’s in the same position if not worse I don’t see any bright future

For Chelsea so I don’t know how a rebuild in terms of the extent we need how that successfully looks but I do agree in essence that that it is exactly what is needed I just don’t know how to do it but um Samson saying cudos so 38

Million pounds yeah that agree 100% now if Manchester United wanted him that’s 138 million pounds or at least 90 million that that is two different things and if Kudos did join Manchester United do you expect very good performances I don’t fair play he is a good player I

Don’t think he’d perform like that at man united I think he would be just infected in whatever is going around got it it does look like there was a bloody bug going around in regards to RAF Veron who I do want to touch on before we do

Wrap up but um we pay players 200 Grand a week when they were on 20 yeah and look if you’re a play You’re anine is obviously the prime example of that ax 20 grand a week coming up to the best part 150 200 Grand a week at Old traffic

You’re going to say you know you’re going to accept that so I don’t look at him I look at the absolute idiots making that decision but um P here saying I think this squad will always need a softer manager like Ollie that doesn’t give the cold shoulder as

Often for me he was the closest one to deliver in on expectation and yeah look no bigger fan of Soul Shire than me of course I I defended him to the last second but um I also understand that the need for him to go and then need for us to improve on

Are they going to solw but also go back to it and think well hang on have we improved I do I do believe there is element big Improvement under Eric chhar yeah in regards to and we shouldn’t cave to players and we shouldn’t cave to a

Group of players and say okay they need an arm around the shoulder but there’s more players than a manager so maybe you do need to unfortunately cave cave to that but I do think that sets a bad sort of precedent moving forward and I do think in terms of clearing out the dead

Wood you do need to sort of get rid of the players who don’t have the right mentality but looking no bigger fan of soul than me hopefully he does get that job it does look like he’s potentially linked with the move to bashta so it be

Good to see him back in management but yeah Jose Mourinho Louis vanal Eric tanh Ral Frank O G solo all different kinds of managers different levels they just haven’t found it they haven’t found what it’s going to take so I don’t know what the answer is
