You both changed equipment coming into 2023 how have you felt it worked for you what’s the love you have for caway and and their equipment yeah it was a big decision going into 23 we both been extremely happy with the equipment um straight in the the driver it’s been
It’s been really good the season it’s uh most important Club in the back and and for both of us it was quite an easy change and and um it’s been performing really good so I feel like it’s been a it’s been a fairly easy um switch and uh
It’s been performing really good all year it has been very very good uh there’s always that big question mark when you when you’re changing your ball uh you know cuz over time um you get so used to one specific ball you know exactly how it’s going to hit the
Different wind directions and if it’s warm or cold so I think that was for us was when we found out that that C Ball was spot on it was like we’re good to go I mean the irons were very very good Straight Into the Woods as well and
Driver so you know I think it all happened very fast for us there wasn’t much you know overthinking or anything it it performed straight away and it was nice to get that sort of very very quick cuz then we could just focus on you know
Play golf and you try to to to make some results you know we really looking forward to uh do some more testing with all the new stuff coming out yeah it’s talking about the new stuff um how are you feeling about what’s coming I’ve been playing the Freewood for a couple
Weeks now and uh really excited to see the performance on the course especially last two weeks uh South Africa and Dubai and um seeing that do exactly what you want on the course is what you wish and hope for and um can’t wait to do some proper testing with the driver because
From what I’ve heard it’s supposed to be pretty good so Paradigm uh has been a huge success for Callaway uh uh and especially on tour it’s been it’s been their biggest successful piece of equipment uh on tour ever um what is it for you that stood out with that driver
And and those woods we could see straight away it was it was producing the bowly that we were looking for and you know it’s when you see that straight away it’s like oh we we found something here that could work for me it was at that
Time start of the year was trying to hit a Loc cut as soon as I feel like hit that low cut I feel like okay this is the club for me now because I can always go up and hit a full one that goes somewhat out there but can you get that
Fairway finder uh shot in the bag and uh that was for me the key thing if I can find something straight away that I can feel like I can put in play um and that’s what exactly what it did to start the season so that was for me like I’ve
Basically been playing the same driver All Season even though swing chains or there’s a certain shut you trying to hit can change over a season and shaft or whatever I’ve basically been playing the same driver all year even though my swing has changed a lot it’s still just
I know exactly what it does I know my misses I know the tendency of it and obviously we have a lot of data on it as well so when we look at Stats we know exactly where the strings are in certain wind directions certain t-shirs where
Where if we have water left or out of bounds right or whatever so it’s just about knowing your strengths and this this driver has been performing really good um so we’re both really happy with it and I guess I guess it comes down to when you’re nervous that you have
Something you can trust and I think straight away nikai showed it in at the hero cup you know straight away he was uh I think statistically he was playing the best golf of everyone there and the the driving was really really good and you can see straight away for me I was
Only looking from the from the sideline there but you know it was it was cool to watch that he was straight in the new equipment and he and was working and that gave me the confidence as well uh once I was back in healthy again that it
Wasn’t going to be any any problem for me to come in and and perform on the same level
