No I don’t really want to but then I was like what let’s do it let’s do it why not screw it it’s again I’ve this is my final year seni senior year I don’t know how many games left and I really want to do some big things and I said what let’s

Do it our big thing accomplish so let’s do it our road game for you we keep hitting the bus we keep hitting the road we keep driving we’re going to keep making it happen man um so yeah I’m St to St with you appreciate you tuning in

Here on the B broadcast sork and yeah I’m happy for another road game um I know we everyone knows about what happened Friday I know there’s not much details out and I know I’ve been uh requ I know what happened I know I’ve been requested by both our coach our coaching

Staff and Mr L athletic director to not reveal anything I want to keep that uh 100 with them and everything and keep you know just keep everything what they want what what they request me to do I’m going to do what I need to do but I know

There’s details out there on Twitter and social media and stuff and people can go search for that but what I’m going to keep it here though is what I want what I can report on is that I know everything’s okay as of right now coming into tonight everything’s all right it

Was all right Friday night um after the game and that but just was not our guys and did did not feel comfortable playing that game Friday night with with what happened and but everything is all right now everything’s okay now obviously this game is being play tonight but um yeah

What I do but I can report on from Friday night though everything is okay now and that game will be rescheduled at a later date I don’t have the date yet I don’t think it’s been made up yet uh or or finalized what they were going to do

But uh we again obviously we already got permission from Alton to the game there so uh whenever that game comes we should be doing that game at Alton uh given the chance the way obviously schedule and stuff has to work out uh in favor of

Me see if we can do it but I would I would think we would be there if whenever that happens but I know that did leave a lot of people uh worried Friday night just hearing that the game was canceled for an unknown reason um I I mean I was kind of

When I went when you know and I was I was and I was I was really worried you know obviously I don’t think people I really show that on the broadcast I’m pretty when I’m worried I can really show or at least it’s good my opinion

This a good train of mind I I think I could show or hide that feeling of worriedness and I thought did a good job doing that but I off the arrow though I really was worried I was panicking I I mean I didn’t know what to expect but I

Know a lot of people are like that though and like I said again I’m going to reassure everybody everything is okay and uh we’re playing basketball tonight so but yeah anyway that’s uh Friday night so uh bever did not get a win or a loss at a game again the yet game has

Been postponed at lanter still set a record of six and four 0 and2 conference play it wasn’t busy I conference play though uh B West barely lost East St Louis uh at home by three they lost on a half court shot or B West put up a half

Court shot airball it at the buzzer and Collinsville took down o f by only six points at home at Collinsville so at busy night in the conference and I was talking with Coach padet uh Friday night I said you know this conference is still wide open I mean you guys could really

Uh really I was talking to Coach P you guys could really make a run I mean seriously if you guys can find your game and just you know stay hot you know and really string some wins together you guys could be sitting in a top three by

End of January so but I mean but that’s true you know I mean not least to I mean if they can find their game I keep talking about it’s going to take a little bit of time but coach Greek is the right guy you want you know coaching

His team and we got I mean a great group of players I mean seriously those guys are incredible they have a lot of talent a lot of potential and they again the biggest thing they keep repeating coach pad and Coach keep repeating is they want to they want to improve they want

To work hard they want to practice they want to get better and uh that’s the Bigg thing to have you know that’s the reason why this is one of uh coach creeks and Coach pad SP teams they ever been able to coach is because of that

Factor they want to work hard they want to work their butts off they want to get better and that’s a big trait to have in a team you know you can have you know all the talent in the world you know you know you can have the best coached in

The world you can have all that you know but you but the thing is you you may not go far if you don’t have the ability to work your butt off you don’t have the ability to grind you don’t have the ability to buy in and so I really

Believe in our teams in meville but this is a team I really I’m so excited to see the blossom really as we get into the second half of the year I’m really excited to see what these next few weeks bring uh for B tonight against battle B

And Al off on the road and big thank you to Al off’s athletic department for giving the chance to uh be here tonight our road game again as I mentioned and uh for the bragging rights you want to win this hey we run this town but uh

Alof is a great team they’re eight and2 so far and they’ve had some very close losses they lost about Zion by 10 don’t put up the year they also lost Bela West by 17 up north at Lincoln so they’re playing some good teams and they’ve also played some team Bel East has already

Played already that is one in in modern day we break it down here in a minut though but this is game B obviously is going to want to win see if they can continue improving and the thing I’m kind of worried about those they haven’t played a game in one week though they

Haven’t played since last Tuesday but Al just played uh last Friday against father M they won by 31 so they’re going to have that fresh Factor while Bev East is going to be out has a lot of rest and I uh so that’s going to be interesting

Factor as well not being able to play Friday night how how does that hurt you in the fatigue and the stamina Factor we’ll see how it goes for B maybe a little bit too rested are are the lers again out’s 82 I got a breakdown of

Schedule they beat leak in a team that played in uh cville last year they were an interested team that K tournament uh Beville East sorry Al did win by two again they mentioned they played modern day and they game Beville East one but so did Alto they won against modern day

At modern day on the road play that tough atmosphere they won 58 to 50 after having a five-point fourth quarter and a onepoint third quarter they put up an eight-point lead but modern day went on 1812 second quarter and they got it to a two-point game at the half but alov

Really played uh really good second half and there’s some guys on this team that uh you may remember of uh Earl Liverpool pat pat Lee charlest cell but he also pick up some guys in the transfer Port got de dearl dear Hill Jr who’s been their one of their big players say with

Alex Johnson who was from last year both of them had a great game against SP day they dropped 31 combined and you had Brighton gamala who had 12 as well so there’s a big three right there to watch out for just that modern day game and uh

They had good rebounded effort from dear hell juder as well he had six rebounds five for Alex shots in that game against modern day and they were able to really kind of stop their big guys in modern day you look at Nick lamp had 13 points

He shot three for seven Drake Wagner had 15 but he only shot five for 12 and he shot two for six from three Garrett weeker only had six point shooting three for six 0 for for three those are your big three scores and B did a good job

Containing Wagner and weer but they weren’t able to really stop lampy I think he had over 20 points against B so that’s a big thing right there alov could lock down some key players for B some key scores and uh they did that there they also played all fou it only

Won by two this is a close game uh they won by two though at home against the Panthers and alof ended up pulling it a after had a plus six fourth quarter but did not hold out only lost by two and another good game from d dear Hill Jr he

Had 16 de Michael Jackson had 16 as well Liverpool put up four for out off at Hill actually had a double double he put up 10 rebounds with six coming on the offensive glass with a block as well for the young man looking at their score

Numbers they have a really good again I mentioned their three big guys Dar Hill junr Alex Johnson Bryon Gala that’s the top top lead top three lead scores respectfully they’re a double figures but the field goal percentage isn’t great though 39% for Hill Johnson shooting 43 gazala shooting 440 look at

The three- play percentage 32 for Hill 23 for Johnson 38 for gal they’re shooting a lot of three especially Hill half of his shots are coming from the three-point line 74 of those 154 shots Earl Liverpool’s averaging 5 and a half to Michael Jackson averaging seven and a

Half on pretty good shooting about 44% each for both but they’re three-point shooting they’re all about the 30% so they’re going to shoot the three ball they’re going to shoot a lot of three threes but are not going to make as many threes as they probably hope but if they

Start knocking down threes it could be a long night for Bev East we saw it last year I remember outof game at home they shot a lot of Threes right on the gate they took an early lead but B again was a team that did not start well but they

Had a really good second half in those games and really battled back that’s what they had do last year against alof but they’re going to shoot a lot of Threes that sou B East is going to watch out for they start making those it could be a long night for the Lancers on

Defense deell junr is lead him in rebounds with seven and a half Charleston’s almost a at Alex Johnson with four and a half and Pat Lee has four Liverpool put up three in the rebound numbers but or Liverpool even though he’s not scoring the basketball he reminds me really of a

Mason Mosley type guy from last year on B East a guy that may not score the basketball a lot but he can really run the offense pass the ball or Liverpool’s average at almost six assists per game that’s pretty good especially for high school basketball if you’re put up six

To you and to answer Nation yeah happy holidays to you too I mean here we are basketball season already it’s crazy it’s the winner I know we go right in from The Fall season and a great fall season obviously here in answer Nation to uh you know the indoor season here in

The winter and right back at it first home game for the boys um obviously nine games on the road and then I know coach Creek was excited to get back in the gym he was and speaking of this gym I mean you guys got that new gym floor and

Everything I me it looks great beautiful yeah the gym floor is great uh obviously you know took a little longer than we had hoped uh with a you know kind of one of one major speed bump um but once again um it’s it’s completed luckily our

Volleyball girls got to play on it um at the end of The Fall season um break it in in so to speak and uh now obviously our basketball teams and and a wrestling match we’ve had a you know our Varsity match here already so uh it looks great

Uh the floor is a lot lighter than it used to be um you know with some new graphics couple new designs the thought was to keep it simple um but keep it as nice as possible and then with obviously the new LED lighting uh just looks so

Much brighter it looks really nice you guys over this last year we had a lot of upgrades you know baseball softball fing out in the core I mean I mean you guys are making some great improvements here at Bev yeah obviously the district to1 and the Board of Education and and our

District administration you know obviously they have a a great uh Direction and goal um you know including the athletic departments at both schools and and coaches and taking in all those opinions and uh you know making those facilities upgrades uh for our kids and and you know their outdoor

Classrooms uh their indoor classrooms they’re used all the time you know and once again it’s not just a baseball game on a turf or field or or a you know softball game on a turf field or or whatever you know pees on it during the day um we have our community that’s on

It and so once again it’s a great opportunity to showcase District 2011 and and specifically Beville East at our place so yeah go back to the fall Sports season we had a great fall Sports season how about that football team man I mean know you’ve been here for a while at Bev

East it’s been a while since he made a Deep Run like that you know yeah I mean obviously a lot of fun right you know coach Harrison and our football program have put in the hours and the and the work um you know in the weight room the

Offseason um you know obviously I always tell tease with Coach Harrison you know we have no coaching at all it’s all our our players and and whatnot but you know the combination of the two um have really made a really fun fall season and obviously had a great time um you know

Made a made a good run came up a little short against a really good Main South team there in the playoffs but but held our own and and you know with a long road trip and things of that nature so um you know a lot of fun and you know

This you know football drives a lot of things in the fall you know homecoming and and everything else and when that’s going well everything’s going well U it was funny I was actually just meeting with Coach Hangar our volleyball coach girls volleyball coach in the office the

Other day and she said hey you know coach Harrison just happened to walk in she says hey can you just keep make sure football has a good season cuz it it determines everything everybody’s excited body’s in it yeah and also another good thing what good things happen the basketball team you know the

Boys and girls teams are rolling and hopefully they keep keep I mean they’re right there I feel like so far the first game especially the girls I mean it’s just small improvements you got to make so far real the year exactly and you know the early part of the Season

Especially with basketball with 31 total games and it’s a long season right it’s not it’s not just a couple of months it’s literally a four month season and and through a you know two to uh you know uh time change and all those different things that happen a semester

Break all of those things that that fact into it but you know that early season you know trying to figure out what you got who’s who meses well with what the starting combinations and obviously coaches putting in time um but you know we got some underclassmen that are

Playing really well for both teams and and that’s that’s exciting um you know underclass teams that are doing well on their own you know our freshman boys basketball team uh is doing really well with Coach Brockman so you know the future looks very bright for both

Programs uh you know we we got a starting freshman playing on the girls team who’s looking really good uh and so once again we we are excited about that in the future and and not just basketball but you know our wrestling program is doing really well I mean

They’re off the of and running and doing really well coach Riley’s bringing home some hardware and got some people bringing home some some places and things of that nature at some tournaments so um you know once again we’re excited um you know we just had a big dance competition here on Saturday

And Coach Pew and our dance team did really well so once again you know it just it felt us into everything yeah and I don’t want to kind of overlook this winter season but I know spring season we’re going to have a good really good time too boys volleyball is going to be

Top of the rankings for sure softball is returning a lot of their players and baseball they have a lot of young players in lead on we’ got a lot of good things coming up soon as well yeah once again the the future is bright here for

B least I believe you know we we have a lot of really good coaches um who are doing really good things and and they’re preaching the right things those pillars of excellence and things that we talk about here you know that that coaches have brought to it and then once again

Coupled with a lot of really good players right and and people and making those chess moves to put people in the right positions to do things has led to not only you know a season to season success but but you know overall I mean year-to-year success that’s something

That uh you know a lot of our teams can hang their hats on especially you know those teams that have been successful and and those up and cominging programs that have really done a good job turning around I mean I I look at our bowling program you know it’s interesting this

Year our bowling program has been really good the last few years boys and girls well this year we actually split into boys and girls teams right um so coach Barger who has been the co-head coach both now we have two coaches Mrs Tui Alexis Tui and Marcus bger you know him

Taking the boys her taking the girls and they’re both doing successful you know coach uh you know won her tournament this past season this past weekend so I mean once again that that’s shows a lot of good success and things that that have come about with a lot of good

Facility upgrades a lot of good direction and really good coaching at the top so uh we’re excited and once again really good players yeah well far appreciate Jo thank Steven does a great job on here everybody really appreciate it and uh we welcome you back in here
