Forsberg was the greatest.what a team it was
Legend 😎
I had 2 ankle surgeries which ended my playing hockey anymore and was very bitter towards the surgeons until i saw Peter the Great having his career ended too from ankle problems. Fixing ankles is an Art and no guarantee.
Patrick Roy. Absolute G.O.A.T. in the nets. Not Marty, Not Dominik, Not even close. 3 Conn smythe Trophies in 3 separate decades!!! 'nuff said.
Forsberg was one of the few players I've ever seen who would go out of his way to initiate contact while carrying the friggin' puck. Just an amazing talent.
I watched the game on TV where Roy was left in instead of being pulled after 3 goals scored against him.. He quit Montreal afterwards. It was a real shock because nobody quit a team for any reason in any sport. He was the best goalie ever (maybe). He had a lot of pride. And although i was new to watching hockey I admired his rebel stand. The guy had BALLS.
Is this a recent interview or the one from a a long time ago?
Foppa is forever my favourite player. Just watching him effortlessly play and score in his prime was an absolute pleasure.
PETER FORSBERG!!!
Luv that guy 😎
Goalies are different. We put our bodies on the line for when the team has failed, we know the reality of the game and it is unkind; do not expect a good goalie to tolerate laxity, but each has their own way of addressing it.
Forsberg had injuries that stopped him a lot. But still when healthy or half-healthy always performed with his outstanding skills, mentality and toughness.. One of the greatest for sure. And also Roy of course, what a legend and winner.
In the day, Michael Jordan for basketball , Peter Forsburg. All time pros i followed and aspired the.
Favourite player of all time
Why is Forsberg dressed like The Dude from The Big Lebowski?
Peter Forsberg, one of my all time favorite players, even though I'm a Blues fan. 9
PETER FORSBERG WAS AWESOME!
Where was the hilarious part?
Gnarly
Foppa is probably one of the most talented players ive ever seen play. There is a short video of him doing backhand shots with one hand and just smashing them on the crossbar one by one. For anyone who has ever hold a hockey stick knows that is a crazy skill to have.
Could you imagine an 18 yr old Peter Forsberg playing now? NO more clutch and grab. The PERFECT package. He'd just squash Mcdavid.
Peter Forsberg looks like my high school shop teacher now… kind of sounds like him too.
He had Bobby Orr smooth.
peter forsberg is my fav hockey player of all-time…yes, he had some weaknesses with his temper sometimes… but i think i caught myself smiling at the things he did on the ice so many times. what an amazingly talented and strong athlete, and was definitely the best player to watch for me. it's too bad his body just couldn't keep doing it, but i am thankful for having been able to see him do what he could do.
Forsberg is hands down the most complete player ever.
