I used to be really good around the greens when I played a lot,never gave it much thought. Quit for 18 years and am very technical now,but nowhere near as good. I notice your head is actually coming up out of the shot even before impact. Are you aware of this,and why do you do that? I would think that would cause thin shots,or some inconsistency
Here in Tennessee on some of these course come winter time. We are chipping off bare lies,compact clay soil,and all sorts of nasty variations. Wish you could make a video on these type of lies. Chipping off of nice grass seems a breeze,but I get flippy off of difficult lies
Dan is da man….as he points out, set up is critical and is also simple…anyone can have a world class set up which makes good ball striking much easier!

This has been great for me personally using the R123 but with left hand low, shot a 78 couple weeks ago with 9 up and downs 😊
Dan. Can’t tell but is that a reverse overlap grip you’re using. I’ve been tinkering with a ten finger on your style of releases and it seems to work.

His approach has helped me so much. I related well also to one of his others videos on placing the grip (smoothly) into the holster.
I’m (maybe WAS now😊) one of those golfers that can hit Driver/ fwy/irons pretty good out there, and can putt ok.
BUT! if I have a chip or a pitch shot ( touch shot) and you’re waiting opposite the green …. U better WATCH OUT!! 😂

Look at the the butt grip handle go up and to the left. Do not drag the handle forward .😉
