I haven't seen my swing on camera so I'm not entirely sure how my sequencing on the downswing actually is, but for me to get clean consistent ball striking I need to feel like my arms are leading the downswing if that makes sense. Again, feel and real are very different so even though this may be my feeling, in reality it may not be the case.
I have incorporated some of your stuff into my swing (hip bump, giving blood, skipping a rock) and have straightened out my shots, but honestly, my distance is not getting it done. What could I be missing, you think?
Can you do a video on speed? I am maxxed out turning as fast as I can into the ball, good contact, nice and straight but I feel like I have maxxed out my distances and it's not as far as I'd like.
Hey Adam, Happy TGiving! Loving this series with Johnny O. Really good stuff. I recently figured out the pushing the beachball feel by over-relaxing my right hand (not letting it pull the club up at all). The end result is the good deep turn and, because not feeling the right hand pull, the right elbow stays very relaxed and in. From the top letting the right hand join in the ride I finally get the hands turning the body on the way down as opposed to the shoulders dragging my hands. I know you are not a super fan of the impact bags, but I made one out of towels and a bag just to see if it triggered anything in my feeble brain and it did help me with getting my hands going for some reason. I don't even try to hit it very hard, just let that be my mental target for where all my anger 🙂 goes. Simple swing thought is 'push with left shoulder all the way to the top – smash the bag' Somehow that seems to be working for me. Off to Orlando for a week (for work but mixing in as much golf as I can), so will add a video of progress to the Master Class when I get back. Keep up these awesome videos!
Love your tutorials Adam. I live in Australia and my dream is to be in a lesson with you. Hope to see you early March. You are amazing. I’ve gone from 22 to 10. Now for some lessons from you to get to scratch 🏌️♂️

Jim venetos actually teaches that as a swing.

If your game falls apart on the course you can literally just do this and you can hit fairways.
This is like 2 guys coca cola'd up in a back garden
Very good lesson

The most important part of this is the sentence ‘for someone that …’

This is exactly my issue. And it always leads to a slice. Great lesson. I’ll have to put it to practice.
