  1. This sounded like you where trying not to be a Cameron lover but you really are! Regardless of the many elements of the fight, Katie picked her off so well.

  2. Cameron lucky to win 1st fight. Scored a couple times. Had KT winning, or a draw when being generous to Chantelle and awarding all swing rounds. She missed a lot. Judges gave rounds for activity and punches thrown not punches landed! Rematch was a trip in round 1. No knockdown. Easy to tell if you observe Chantelle oddly stumble the moment KT is falling. Had to regain her footing due to feet getting tangled. Suzy you called it right.

  3. Complete denial about the extent of the media obligations that Katie Taylor had to deal with before the first fight. I first became extremely concerned after watching the Ariel Helwani walk and talk interview the day before the weigh ins, while she was cutting weight!!!!! He walked her down hill and then back up hill and I was struck by how heavy she was breathing, deep mouth breaths. The interview didn't end there as she then had to do an incredibly emotional reunion with Deirdre Gogarty in front of the Cameras. The interview itself was 20 minutes long but you'd imagine that the whole process was much longer and incredibly draining. Watch it and you will see her breathing heavy and him not….watch it.

That whole week was a disgrace, right up to an including the 10 minute walk out they had her do. It was tantamount to managerial and promotional mal practice.

People who were shocked that Katie looked leggy in the fight clearly had not been paying attention to how hard she was worked for two weeks leading up to it. She carried the promotional end of the fight. The only thing Cameron had to do was turn up and fight and then afterwards sold that advantage as her being disrespected when the reality was that Katie was disrespected by being worked like a horse for two weeks before an incredibly difficult fight against someone in the weight class above.

Everyone was convinced Cameron was going to lose, once I knew Katie wasn't going to allow herself get drained out with a media circus I fancied Katie to overturn. Cry some more ladies.
