  1. This is the crime of the century – a sideline reporter said coach so-and-so said, "We've got get more pressure on the QB….back to you" and that conversation never really happened. She's in the entertainment business – she's not a journalist. She uttered some statements of the obvious that were so incredibly general and benign – and attributed them to coaches – that she was never once called out by a coach. I'm more worried about the fact that only five companies owned by billionaires control our "real" news – not so much worried that everything we see in the entertainment world isn't always real. It's a football game, kids. Yeah, this is a really big deal – somebody faked a two-sentence sideline report a few times. What about the children??? Doh.

  2. Gee, I guess commentators employed by Fox making stuff up to fit a narrative didn't stop with the news division.

  3. My gawd. Whoever that weasel was that Doug asked for an opinion, just sounded like a wimp. I get it though. In modern America, you can't really hold women accountable. So, this is a non-story.

  4. been a journalist long? the public relies on not being duped like this. just tell us that u tried to get a quote about x y or z and that they had no comment…thats fine. but, u cant put words in their mouths. where is the producer in all this lying? seems like the sideline people have too much autonomy.

asking a coach between quarters/before/after halftime whats goig on..is similar tp jumping over the counter at burger king and asking the cook how they are making someone's burger…i think asking thee questions at this time is tacky and disrespectful of sports…whoever approved and made these coaches have to answer these between quarter questions should be fired…its tasteless. these players and coaches are busy…at work.

  5. Give Charissa a break. She doesn’t deserve the negativity outcry over some fake news. The only thing that matters is she’s really super hot

  6. good segment helping me to see both sides I hadn't thought of as an outsider; bottom line people love to be so outraged in these times and people need to just relax….1st world problems

  7. If anyone thinks that shes on the sideline and tv because of merit and journalistic integrity must have taken the small bus to school or they are from another planet .. shes hot!! That's the only reason for her face is on the screen.

  8. NFL sideline reporter admitting she made things up? So what, who cares? ESPN only throws these attractive sideline female reporters out there for eye candy for the male audience. No average male football fan who watches football cares about what a female sideline reporter says anyhow lol. I thought everyone knew this already? LOL!

  9. Damar Hamlin collapsing.
    Joe Burrow injury.
    Mike Leach hates candy corn.

    Anything else is irrelevant.

I don’t need to hear “Coach you’re down 20 points at half what do you need to do to get back in the game?” or “Walk me through that game-winning drive.” FROM EXPERIENCE, no coach or player wants that latter question. You saw it. They saw it. We all saw it. Ask something of value or don’t ask anything at all…

  10. Good for Molly, Doug you are an idiot, simply covering for your friend. Obviously making things up yourself

  11. You know the worst part Doug Roasts everyone. But nobody especially her cronie friends are going to say anything because do i need to say it ? Apperance. These men will say nothing simply because of how she looks journalism be dammed.

  12. This is EXACTLY why men/real fans are sick to death of having women forced on us through sports when they have NO PLACE being there, as they have NO EXPERIENCE with playing the sports!! My goodness, I am SO SICK of listening to men babble, but at least they have a clue, whereas "women" like this fraud/liar are just 'diversity' hires to try and get more 'women' to watch, not realizing just how many real MALE FANS they're losing!!

  13. Just imagine if kimberly martin or Pam Oliver did that, Doug would be calling for their firing.. I wonder what the difference… Disclosure I don't think she should be fired

  14. That’s why the MFL Men’s Football League is strictly a game for men🏈
Women have no concept of the game and how natural it is to be confrontational for 3 straight hours then flip the switch to getting a burger with your opponent post game!
I wish all commentators had to talk from the hip no cue cards or prompters! Then all these shows would go back to all men who know the game and stay on topic of football! You media outlets Stop trying to turn my sport into a stupid soap opera of feelings!! The NFL is about knocking your head off and being as violent as possible and aggressive in a controlled environment! Most women couldn’t draw up an offensive 4 down strategy on their own! Spatial intelligence is a testosterone gene attribute only men have!

  15. If the sideline reporter doesn't know enough to pivot to their own analysis when the coach doesn't show, then they're not talented enough for the job.

  16. Reporters, Journalists, Media people all have to be held to the highest level of Ethics, Integrity, and Moral standards. Otherwise, how can the public trust them?? Otherwise you have to take it all as bullshit. Look what happened to Brian Williams of NBC NIghtly News. Why would she even bring it up? Unless she wanted to start a firestorm of controversy!!

  17. Is anyone really surprised. Mainstream sports media nowadays constantly makes up a lot of fake garbage points and debates for clicks, e.g. this recent fake bball GOAT debate to hype up Lebronze more than he's already overhyped. Now they are onto, is Curry the best PG all-time. Just utter nonsense. Mainstream sports dont need to worry about this admission losing them credibility – cause they long been lost that.

  18. I wonder how the report would have been if she was a black woman. She probably would have been called low class and tasteless. And everything wrong with sideline reporting. This is America so don't ask me why I think she would have been reported on differently if she was black

  19. Remember this is the corporate media we're talking about that owns the NFL on their networks…since when were the NFL on CBS and the NFL on FOX considered programs that had hard news and journalistic integrity. Like other sideline reporters have ALWAYS told the truth in every report? Puhlease

  20. I knew in the first minute when Gott-dweeb said “she’s a friend” that this was going to be a slanted take.

  21. Who really cares? Who pays attention to sideline reporting anyway, other than for injury updates. Are there really people mad about this crap?

  22. He initially says i don't have as much of a problem, then in the next breath says he had a problem with this. Plus she said she was making stuff up, it doesn't matter that what you said wouldn't upset the coach, it's still false. Plus, their whole argument boils down to the job being done isn't that important so this shouldn't be such a big deal. That is exactly why the current sideline reporters are so outraged, it devalues what they do.

  23. The outrage is not silly. She lied, and now has a cushiony 6-figure job sitting in a studio. She should be FIRED for doing this.
