I really like Herbert and his career stats/record pace ARE elite except for the only one that really matters…sorry, when your career record is .500 you don’t get to be considered “elite.”

I called it years ago. They've been tryina to over hype these white QBs for some years now! Ever since Watson got his contract, maholmes becoming a clear cut best,and Lamar got his money and now he is winning the media hasn't wanted to names a black QB as the clear faces of the league. So they've been attempting to put josh Allen above Patrick without even making it to a Superbowl. Been hyping up that golden boy Trevor Lawrence as if he's made two deep playoff runs. And Justin Herbert as if there's a ring on his finger. I've called this years ago they're desperately trying to find a white QB to stick on. Eagles are 5-1 yet they're tryina find faults in hurtz game! They'll pretend that it was the chargers team fault and not justins

And people think Tua is elite. It really helps when you have a good HC, not a bottom 3 one in Staley, and the greatest show on turf around you. And I know Herbert hasn’t had the best start to the season and he’s missed some throw he and there, and I agree, he hasn’t looked at his best, but you know who had bad start to the season as well, Joe Burrow, but he’s still a top QB. Herbert is still a top 6 guy. He’s carried this team on his back for the past 3 years and he’s been elite. Maybe he’s not played as well to start this season, but at some point he’s gotta get a little help. He’s stuck with zero run game, and a good, but old WR in Allen. And Mike Williams can’t stay healthy so yeah. Again, he hasn’t been spectacular to start this season, but he hasn’t just been awful. Also, he had arguably his best game of his career this year vs the Vikings. Anyone who’s saying he’s a loser because of his record, obviously doesn’t realize football is a team sport. Plus, even though it’s his none throwing hand, he is somewhat injured.

The season theme in the media is to blame coaches Feilds, Love , Russel, get passes to some degree. I think Stayley is the problem , but Justin with a good coach who want handicap him with dumb analytics decisions he will win.

Trevor Lawrence is what Charger fans thought Herbert would be. Makes easy and difficult throws and is also clutch.
