Hmm, i watcing this I think I am too wide in my stance. Heck thats his 4 iron and my 7 iron stance is wider than that.

@golfdog42 you can see how the club is closer to his right leg he begins the swing with his arms and gradually bends his wrists, he begins the down swing with this hips first, very good view and i also learned golf through youtube and
ive never taken a lesson
@craighambo Why would you not try to emulate/learn from the swing that won the slam…drives are overrated….if you were anything other than a casual observer of the game its your 2nd and 3rd shots that count…

Something to note here: Tiger is left-eye dominant – that is to say, he likes looking at the ball with his left eye and his head is tilted accordingly, giving us the impression that everything is lined up to the left when in fact, if you trace the lines his divots and feet are making, everything is nice and square.

ball goes where the toe goes. a fine player told me that long ago. the toe of his club rotates same speed as his entire swing. good stuff!
Tiger used a weaker grip as he was too scared to over hook it as he does very occasionally. His head lag is to allow him to create a whipping affect with his arms. This is good for power but Hank Haney said that it produces a hook or a push slice if not timed well. But it worked for over 4 years so I can't say much about it other than he was and is the greatest golfer in the game

He looks setup way left because of the shaft forward lean.
Also, I would bet Tiger's right leg is longer than his left – which, on level ground, helps produce a clean, downward blow, naturally moves the divot forward and would explain his naturally high driver spin rate. Tiger could be actually be longer off the tee with a slightly upward blow and less spin to get more roll.

Roger really didn’t have much value there. Said the same thing 3 times, just with different verbage. Golf analysis at its finest.
This highlights what i think most amateurs get wrong. Look how the club head traces a straight line back from the ball. Done by hinging the wrists up rather than back, which brings the club inside.
If you want to improve your contact and direction, learn that.
