  1. Imagine being a person like Phil that spoke actual truth about the Saudis, but then for some unknown reason turned around a month later and basically bow down to the crown prince. And started talking about growing the game LMFAO!!! Just imagine the dirt they have on him to have that much control

  2. We can believe as much as or more than the asshats in golf channel. Especially Lynch and Chumplee!

  3. Think about this college golf is more popular than Liv golf. Nobody cares about who plays well on Liv because its not competitive golf.

  4. Instead of complaining, LIV golfers can fill out their qualifying applications for both Opens. Plenty of opportunities and you can pick your first event location. Surely the top golfers in the world would have a great chance to be in those tournaments. They can afford the effort and travel.

  5. Saw an article about golf team (LIV) gambling. Absolutely no interest at the sports books. More interest in gambling on the Champions Tour. How these LIV teams have any substantial value is the biggest stretch imaginable. More likely FTX makes a comeback.

  6. Koepka and Cam Smith apart that players panel is a bunch of has beens and irrelevant. Phil just talking bollox

  7. Eamon lynch is a totally toxic journalist.

He has not been right or accurate on a lot of things.

    Whereas Phil has.

  8. Golf today commentators are a joke and Golf Today is nothing but propaganda against LIV is a great new exciting tour and they don’t need to try and match old PGA tour

  9. Damon shame on you for just being a talking head and following Eman. I thought you could stand your ground. You're now starting to devalue the brand at Golf Channel. Dig deep, do your job get sitdowns with PGA and LIV tour players build credibility. You stock is going down quickly.

  10. I'm excited to see who LIV picks up next season! PGA is scared to loose players as it should be! PGA is dead, time to LIV!

  11. Ignore these idiot commentators who are obviously being paid to slam Mickelson and LIV Golf on a weekly basis.
The bottom line is that the LIV Golf product format is uniquely appealing, will continue to attract new fans to the sport, and isn't going anywhere.
The Saudis will make sure of that.
In time, we will also eventually see most of the world's 48 best players jump ship over to LIV Golf, who will compete for the biggest dollars, and a new ranking system will also eventually need to be created in order to determine which 48 players get to qualify for LIV Golf events.
The PGA and European Tours will both eventually become the feeder, development, and qualifying tours for LIV Golf.
The "PGA Tour-LIV Golf framework agreement" is nothing more than a verbal agreement to save face and partner up to determine how golf revenues can be controlled and fairly split between the American-based PGA and the Saudis, so that both sides get a piece of the action.
    That's all it is.
And that's probably all it will end up being.
The US government will eventually force both sides to come to an acceptable agreement so that there is no anti-competitive monopoly, but expect to see the doors open for LIV Golf and PGA Tour players to be able to play in any events on both sides assuming they qualify to play them.
Those player qualification mechanisms have yet to be decided and established, but they will be decided sooner or later.
In my opinion, the world's best 48 players should be rank-adjusted and decided on a weekly basis, which would force players who want to play for those big dollars in LIV Golf events to try and qualify for those opportunities by playing in more PGA Tour events.
Players who show the most consistency and skill will get to play more LIV Golf events on an annual basis than those who don't.
Players who don't qualify for LIV Golf events that week or month can still win money on the PGA Tour, but nowhere near as much.
The PGA and Saudis would have to include an equal share of major television broadcast rights in their final agreement, so that events from both tours would be covered live on national television.
The four majors would remain mostly as is with their own exemption rules, but with a higher emphasis on also offering entry spots to the world's best players.
At the end of the day, fans want to see the world's very best players compete against one another.
So give the fans (and the players) what they want.

  12. Feels like LIV is going backwards. Viewing figures down, no big name signings this year, poor attendances at the events. Of course the players are happy, as they are all getting millions and fair play to them. I just think the product is fizzling out but they are in denial as well as the diehard LIV fans. 2024 will be a make or break year for them and they have to change a lot of things to stop this downward trend

  13. LIV golf has several winning groups and one big loser. Winning groups are the 48 LIV golfers and the 2nd and 3rd tier PGA tour players. The 2nd and 3rd tier players have, for decades, been treated badly by PGA tour management. Management catered to top tier players. Even the top tier players benefited due to the miraculously found extra prize money.
Now the loser. Which is the entire tour management staff and especially Monahan who should have been fired 6 months ago.

  14. Phil is comfortable speaking because no more Norman. of course LIV will grow, but who are they attracting, the no names, the wash up names, the players who are broke…..
